From the moment I checked in, every staff member made sure that my stay was nothing short of excellence! Lance at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful. My room was gorgeous and spacious; it was nice to be in a corner room with a balcony because it offered so much space it didn’t feel like I was stuck in a hotel room for a week. The Executive Lounge on the 5th floor is definitely worth paying a little more to stay on 5, the convenience of being able to walk down and grab a bottle of water or to work at the tables in there for a change of scenery was fantastic! I will absolutely stay here again when I am in the area.

Stayed 3 nights. By 2nd night there were multiple dogs barking in the hallway. I love dogs, just not in my hotel. Called front desk. Told couldn't find dogs. Told they are here due to hurricane in south. No problem, but they should have their own floor if this is an emergency kennel. I make the mistake of thinking a hotel room is for SLEEPING. Keep finding out that is not the case. Disappointed. Maybe the employees should spend a restless night here!! As usual, there is no place like home. Appreciate what you have there!!

The hotel and the staff were all great. My issue with our stay was with the hotel allowing non-guests. In fact, apparently inviting non-guests to hang out at the pool on the weekends. We live locally and had decided to do a little staycation since we have both been working from home and barely leaving the house since March. We were looking forward to spending an afternoon at the pool. Shortly after we arrived, a man showed up through the main hotel entrance. About 20 minutes later, he let several people in through the side door of the pool. This group then proceeded to get completely drunk. They were loud, obnoxious and racist. One of them was so drunk that she went over to my beach chair and put on my flip-flops and was digging through my bag and didn’t even realize it wasn’t her stuff until I pointed it out to her. If these were just obnoxious hotel guests then it would’ve been less of an issue. Annoying nonetheless, but imagine our surprise and the surprise of the other guests who were paying to be there when one of the drunk guys announced to everyone that he is friends with the general manager at the hotel and that the general manager told him they could crash the pool anytime they want. The The group of drunken idiots apparently like to refer to the Hilton pool as the “The Southlake Country Club.” Our afternoon at the pool was ruined by a group of non-paying guests. It’s absolutely insane to me that the hotel encourages this. And despite the fact that the hotel was not delivering food or drinks to the pool when one of the guys called the bar and used the GM’s name, they delivered drinks to group. Not to the paying customers, mind you. Again, the hotel staff was great. The hotel was immaculate and we felt stay safe during these very uncertain times. but, it’s unacceptable that the hotel allows this to happen.

I am very sadden and disappointed that your staycation was ruined by the bad and boorish behavior of others. We do not have pool passes or a pool club for locals to use our pool. I know the guest who invited the others into the pool and we are acquaintances thru some organizations in Southlake. I have reached out to him and explained that if you proclaim to be my friend you do not behave in such a manner at my house or business. You will not be welcome back nor your friends especially being so inconsiderate to those around. I apologize to you that we were unable to resolve the situation that day. I can promise you we are very conscious of making everyone's experience safe, comfortable and one that they will remember as an excellent memory. I would especially be please if you would reach out to me as I would like to extend another staycation to you. Please call the hotel and I would be very happy handle your arrangements. Again my apologies to you. Mike Hutchison General Manager

Bare with me I tried to notate every employee I came across that helped myself and my mother enjoy our stay. Thank you Kyle in Copelands for being a excellent server and giving great recommendations. Thank you Travis, Jake Joseph W, Lance, Trevor and Kevin at the front desk. Check in was a breeze and I loved being thanked for coming back and everything else you guys did to make us feel welcome.I LOVE your hotel, the executive lounge, and Copelands. I’ve been telling my mom about your property for a while now and you guys exceeded my expectations. Needless to say we will be back for another slumber party and hopefully we can stay two days. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping me impress my mom and a wonderful weekend. : )
