My trip was great. The hotel and the location were great. Due to the pandemic there was a housekeeping shortage, but fortunately we didn't need it. The front desk was able to help us with all of our needs. The resort fee was for parking and activities, but we did not have a car nor were there any activities. This would be my only concern, but we still were satisfied enough that we will return.

Poor hotel can't find enough people to work! Everyone is working hard but we had no towels in our room until hours after check in, the phones in the rooms don't work, the carpets in the halls were filthy, but even with all that we would stay again. Wish they wouod realize this isn't a resort unless it is clean. Sadly overpriced for not having enough staff to do basic cleaning.

DO NOT WASTE the money. Pay $100 extra and book somewhere else. It used to be a 4 star hotel however it is poorly managed and run down. Zero up keep or preventative maintenance has been done in years. It looks and feels dirty. The vibes were not appealing. We were looking forward to a simple getaway and the hotel was our least favorite. No ice, bar smelled terrible, Pool infested with bugs, smelly sweaty.. We snuck over to the Sapphire to feel somewhat clean

The property is going through a series of upgrades and projects implemented by new ownership, and which will lead to a full renovation of the property starting this fall. In the meantime, the team at the resort is fully committed to providing the most enjoyable experience possible for all of our guests. We remain focused on the pool and beach, which are both the largest in the area. Please be aware that the Sapphire condominiums are a separate and private facility, with facilities reserved exclusively for the use of their residents and guests.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Here’s my list of reasons... Upon arrival we walked into the lobby I noticed the floor was FILTHY and the ceiling tiles were all falling apart. Ok fine, I’ll still give it a try...walk into the room and still severely disappointed, old tile floor with broken/chipped tiles. The room smelled like umm..MILDEW. It was TINY. The beds are a full size opposed to queen. We get our swimsuits on and head to the pool, and bam there it is...old rusty beach chairs with trash in the cup holders, no pool attendant to clean anything up, trash on the floor and even in the pool! My kids were so disgusted they sat in the chair and stared at the pool. We go back up to our room and our room has a film of condensation on everything, the floor, walls, dresser and even our bags and clothing! We take showers and it was then that I said I couldn’t keep my children here, mold on the walls hairs all over the sink and tub etc...My husband and I went down to front desk and much to our surprise (NOT) there was someone there asking for a refund. They had checked out yesterday and was checking on their refund. They said the room was disgusting. They referred me to (the beach resort by holiday inn which I highly recommend as well). After asking for a refund the manager says she’s charging us for 2/5 days per the “policy”. We said whatever we’re leaving and going somewhere else. We checked in at the other hotel and came back to get our things as we were walking in another person at the desk going at it with manager about them wanting a refund. When we went to check out she miraculous “made an executive decision to give us a full refund”. Well good because I have pictures and videos and I will be contacting the health department!! This place is a nightmare! I felt so grossed out I didn’t even sit anywhere I just stood still, I didn’t want to order even a drink from this moldy place. Avoid at all costs the other reviews are LIES and the website is full of old pictures this place is soon to be shut down mark my words!!

We've been going there for a number of years. Over the past several visits, it seems like it has definitely gone down hill. The room seemed to need a make over...paint over the stained walls, clean the corners, etc. We were there for 4 days and there was no maid service. Not a problem, except that when we took our own trash out, there were no bags to fill the tiny trash cans with. There was less than 1/2 a roll of TP when we arrived. We called down and asked for some more, it was supposed to be brought right up....and never was. We needed more towels and asked the housekeeper in the hall for some...she wouldn't give us any that she had on the cart, telling us that she'd bring some by in a bit....never came back. We were sitting out by the pool and they came out and closed the pool area at 11pm. Everyone that was out there had to clear out. It was like we were all being sent to our room. Totally not impressed, at all.
