I am sorry to see this review and is completely false and unacceptable that guests are allowed to write false reviews which is why I am happy to answer and give the full story of events. Upon check in this guest was extremely harsh in how he spoke to Tacara at the front desk. He made remarks that I unfortunately can not repeat on this site as I watched the security video footage with sound. My employee called crying and very upset and I asked to be transferred to his room so I could speak to the guest and ask him about the situation and if there was something that upset him at check in. He proceeded to just scream at me stating he didn’t like the front desk “girl” and would not give any specific reason why or any complaint that I could possibly fix for him. The guest hung up on me, I did not and would not hang up on a guest, or have called if I wasn’t trying to figure out the situation and provide some assistance. I called back and asked for his room again not knowing if it was an accidental hang up and he only began cursing and screaming. A short time later he went to front desk and asked to check out. He was NOT asked to leave and in the complaint he made to corporate its recorded he decided to leave and still never gave any reason or specific problem just that he wanted to leave. Upon making his recorded complaint to Corporate it is recorded that he began screaming and yelling at the customer service agent as well, along with cursing and calling her names that I can’t repeat here. The CSR then ended the call and made a note of his abusive language and stated he wouldn’t be contacted again due to this fact. This is all on recorded phone lines and documentation hotels receive when a complaint is made. To this day and in this review he still gives no specific complaint about the property or what he was upset at. It doesn’t make plausible sense that he would be called, screamed at, hung up on, and asked to leave when there is no specific complaint. But this guests words and actions are on video and recorded line and documentation at hotel and also with Corporate when he contacted them. We are only happy businesses have the opportunity to reply and give full and honest view of the situation.

We always stay at la Quinta because of their policies and friendly staff. HOWEVER. This is one I will never stay at again. The GM is extremely rude. I have read plenty of reviews with a reply from the GM stating that is not true. You can’t tell someone what is true and not true

Thank you for leaving us a review. We did have a report that the AC unit in your room was not working properly and a maintenance ticket was made. As all hotels do we address problems immediately for the comfort of all our guests. Upon maintenance and a Manager going to your room to fix any potential problem we were unable to attend to it due to your two large dogs being loose in the room. Our Pet Policy is clear upon check in and we are the only hotel in the area that allows dogs to stay without a large non refundable fee. We only ask the dogs are left crated if unattended. The manager did call you to explain we tried to address the AC complaint but due to dogs were unable to enter for safety reasons. Upon your checkout there were at least 7 different fresh urine stains around the room and the room smelled horrible. We had to put the room out of maintenance and have it professionally steam cleaned. Upon emailing you that we had to charge for the urine your wife replied and apologized and said “she understood the charges”. We do regret that we have guests who leave our rooms in such a manner due to their pets urinating and then unfortunately choose to leave us a bad review. This is the reason why majority of hotels do not allow pets and it has cost the hotel thousands of dollars a year to fix the damages.

Good morning. Unfortunately we are a smaller hotel, 54 rooms, and we do not have our own shuttle from Hobby Airport to our location. A taxi will run roughly $30. We use a local shuttle service to bring our guests to the cruise terminal. They charge total of $15 for first 2 people and $5 a head after. We have many Guests whom stay with us the night before the cruises and would love to have your parents with us. We are less than 3 miles from the cruise terminal.
