Detailed Reviews
I stayed at the Holiday Inn recently, it was such a great experience! the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Check-in was really fast. You can tell they actually care about making sure guests have a good time. The room was way better than I expected—super clean and smelled fresh, which is always a plus. The beds were super comfy, and there was plenty of space to chill. The bathroom was spotless, and they had nice toiletries too, which was a nice touch. Housekeeping did a great job every day, so we never had to worry about messy towels or anything. Also, the hotel itself was just really nice. The lobby was clean, and the whole place felt safe and well-kept

5! Ms. Ramirez, thank you for that welcoming message. You are unique in the hospitality business! I would like to share our story so you can appreciate your staff and your ability to train professionals in hospitality. We originally reserved a room at the other local Holiday Inn. Upon checking in, there was no acknowledgement of being a IHG member nor our Holiday Inn Vacation Club membership. That was fine but unusual when checking in to any Holiday Inn property. We registered and went up to our room. Unfortunately when we opened the door the room had a strong cigarette smoke smell. We immediately returned to the front desk to request another room only to be denied because of a policy that once a room was assigned, there could not be any room changes. We explained we could not sleep in that room. She told us there was nothing she could do. So we asked to cancel the reservation and her reply was "there are no refunds". We were stunned. We arrived at your hotel and were graciously greeted by Vee Blyden who patiently listened to our plight. He responded with the words we were hoping to hear "I can help you with this". He was so personable and professional that we were immediately relieved. Vee truly made us feel like we were welcomed guests! As we have extended a one night stay into four nights, we have interacted with others on your staff and all were friendly and professional. You have created and nurtured an amazing team. Congratulations on your efforts to provide an exceptional guest experience!

The room was clean, and the staff was polite but the way the hotel is run is subpar. None of these things are deal breakers but our reaction to them is in context with our expectations of a hotel that cost more than $200 a night. That was significantly more than all other nearby hotels. I chose to pay more to try to avoid the kind of subpar experience we had.
When we checked in, we found that there was only one towel. I had to request additional towels that should have been there already. Minor, but even in much cheaper hotels, I’ve never encountered a failure of basic room stocking like that.
The crappy breakfast buffet is less good than any complimentary hotel buffet I’ve ever encountered except it wasn’t free. Dry French toast, biscuits like rocks with gravy that was skinned over and gloppy, no eggs, etc.
The service at the bar was friendly and welcoming, but inexplicably, the bar is too tall for the chairs at the bar, so the bar top is almost at your chin. Weird, it’s like the architect that designed the place had never designed a bar.
There were other issues with seemingly clueless front desk staff. There were a row of small bags of food containing what looked like a muffin, a breakfast sandwich and an apple. The bags said “Grab and Go” and appeared to be complimentary but when I looked in one of them, the front desk guy said, “oh those are just for a particular group” Funny, there was no signage. Also, if you look at the sign next to the front desk, it says coffee is $2 and you’re supposed to pay at the front desk. But the actual self serve coffee across from there has no signage indicating that you have to pay, so I went down in the morning and got two cups and didn’t pay. Sorry/Not sorry. I only noticed the reference to paying for the coffee later.
Finally, their standard housekeeping policy is to clean the room only once every five days unless you request minimal cleaning each day.
Not worth what they’re charging.

We tried to reserve a room for a same day stay, they never sent confirmation and when we called while in route to verify a room we were told we did not have a reservation. After learning we didn't have a reservation we booked a room elsewhere.
Later that evening I emailed the hotel and told them they messed up, yet they insist there was a reservation and I will be charged $263.
I've spent 7 weeks trying to get this straightened out. They refuse to talk to me except to point to their 24-hr cancellation policy and say there's nothing they can do to refund my money.
Seems to me if I don't get a confirmation number, and the hotel tells me there isn't a reservation then I can't possibly be charged for a no-show.
Corporate help has been circular, pointing me back to the hotel manager who lies to cover her mistake. I've spent at least 3 hours on hold with Holiday Inn, getting nowhere. Corporate says hotels are independently owned and can't get me a refund, yet the hotel is hiding behind a corporate policy that says reservations can't be cancelled 24hrs before check-in.
Shady business practices and management that supports liars, I will never spend another dime on any Holiday Inn branded property.
Disgraceful.

The staff was incredible! They really went out of their way to accommodate our large group of high school dancers in town for a competition. We were in and out a lot and the staff was always helpful with providing extra space when we needed it. The rooms were really comfortable and clean!

Some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered! They were proactive in letting us know they were there to help with anything we needed and provided quick, clear communication. They were so nice and helpful! They really seem to care that you have the best stay possible!

I got a room through a group rate so it was supposed to be cheaper. It was still $175 a night and the fixtures are falling off or coming out in the shower. You can’t move the shower head at all so it only sprays one direction which as a short person sucks lol . The shower when you step in is dangerously slippery so had to use a towel. It also feels like you’re going downhill in the shower and not a little! It’s has been painted to look nice and up to date but I am so upset I am stuck here !!! The elevators have no air so it’s incredibly hot and scary. The lobby is pretty though! If this was under $100 a night maybe but this is ghetto ! I again am so upset I listened to others and booked here! Oh the toilet is wobbly too ! I’m sure there’s more but this is what’s happened in just the short time since I’ve checked in and I’m afraid for this evening and sleep! 1 star do not recommend to anyone unless they can’t find another place.

I was here at the hotel for a conference with my company. The meeting area and service from the hotel was top notch compared to other hotels that we have visited at. I had a special situation where I needed to pump and the hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating to my needs. I would definitely recommend holding your next corporate event here.
