The Crystal River Inn has all you could need...different types of rooms to suit individuals or groups. We stayed for a work retreat and thought it was a great time. The meeting space suited the size of our group, but we had to reconfigure the space some to accomodate our technology. We were able to set up a projector and...

We brought our two young kids here - we selected it because they had a couple rooms that were actually suites consisting of 2 bedrooms. We stayed in the Blanco suite and it was perfect for a family of 4. The rate was fantastic considering it was really 2 rooms. The house is old/historic and very well kept. The owners...

At least at a motel you get little toiletry items like shampoo, iron and blowdryer in your room. Rather than little "tipping signs" to benefit them, they could have had a little sign that said an iron, blowdryer and USED regular sized shampoo and toothpaste could be borrowed to benefit their guests. I stayed in the Rock House which is...

The Crystal River Inn What a complete disappointment! If I could give this NO Stars, I would! This was meant to be a special mother-daughter get-away. For years I’ve been raving about different bed and breakfast stops that my husband and I have stayed in and enjoyed so much we’ve become return guests. Let me tell you, that I will...

Great selection of different rooms - stayed in the Pedernales this trip. We are Bobcat parents and appreciate the discount as my wife and I travel to San Marcos twice a year with two kids at Texas State. The breakfast is included in the cost of the room. My wife loves the fact that this b&b is clean and does...

The room had many creative touches it was obvious the innkeepers took a great deal of pride in their business. The room was welcoming and comfortable, making me feel very much at home. Breakfast was delicious with home made breads and jams. The conversations with the other guests was a bonus. So many interesting people staying at The Crystal River...

This property could be really nice, but it is totally ignored. The owners are not on the property and it shows. I have been here for two nights. Staying all week. I use to work for a B and B reservation service in Fredericksburg and this one would not meet the grade there. First of all the little things mean...

After a 6 hour drive, I arrived at 10:15pm only to be ignored while standing awkwardly listening to the innkeeper talk about Jack in the Box and Taco Bell with a family member. After 10 minutes, she got off the phone and laughed when she realized she had forgot about my arrival and had me set for a different night....

My husband and I stayed at Christmas while visiting family in town. We called the inn our 'honeymoon cottage', although we've been married 26 years. It has all the charm and imagination of a period film or novel (big Jane Austen fan). On Christmas morning we were served a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs with chives, baby bangers (small sausages)...
