I called for pricing for RV lots for a construction crew..In mid conversation with the woman i lost cell reception and had to step outside to call her back. I was then told, in her words, I dont even want to fu** with you, you just hung up on me and that was rude! After I explained I was in the woods with poor reception, I was then told ´´I do not deal with people like you, try Pecan Park, then she hung uo on me i have a whole crew of people who would have brought in ALOT of business for an extended amount of time but.......I WILL NOT DEAL WITH SOMEONE AS NASTY AS THAT VERY VERY un professional we will rent motel rooms before giving her our money

No one on site called the number lady told me to pick a spot put money in envelope and put in slot. Concrete level pads all the hookups. We didn't try the shower house or laundry. $45 a night. Close to restaurants. We would stay here again.

DO NOT CAMP HERE. We made a reservation several weeks in advance and arrived at 1 pm only to find the office closed with at least a dozen different signs on the front door but no reservation information or any information whatsoever. We called the phone number on the door but no one answered so we left a message, found an open pad and parked. The call was returned 4-1/2 hours later after we had completely hooked up our motorhome and unhooked our tow vehicle. The woman who called was rude and told us to leave $50 in cash or check in one of their envelopes and drop it in the mail chute. Every building on the property was locked and the laundry, showers and bathrooms were all permanently closed. WiFi and cable didn’t work and whoever camped out in our spot prior to us left a gallon jug of water full of cigarette butts. There were dogs off leash and other campers who let their dogs crap everywhere but never cleaned up after them. We only stayed because we were 10 miles away when they called and were already set up. The next morning the owners showed up at our door before we had a chance to leave the envelope and demanded their $50 so I took the opportunity to ask them how they can charge $50 for nothing but a pad, electric, water and sewer and zero amenities save the loose dogs and dog crap. The woman got loud and demanded the cash, then started yelling that I’d better pay up or she was going to park a backhoe in front of our motorhome and call the police. We’ve never experienced anything like this and we’ve spent over 1,000 nights out in our motorhome.

I'm giving it one star for the level, concrete pads and full hook-ups. Otherwise, this place has nothing. No office or staff on-site, just an empty building with a phone number on a sign stating premises are monitored by remote camera. There is a mailbox containing several empty envelopes with site numbers. You pick a site, write a check and leave it in the envelope in the mailbox to be picked up by the "remote" staff. There are no bathroom/shower facilities. The "free wifi" is non-existent. No pool. A mini-golf course with no balls or putters. Literally nothing to do there. It is right on highway 35 with trucks and heavy traffic all day and night. Behind the "campground" are railroad tracks and an oil refinery. If you just want a place to hook up, stay in your camper and run the AC non-stop (temperatures were in the 100's every day) or have instant highway access, this is it. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I rated it a 3 due to cleanliness and space size accommodation...a great place to park your RV and spend the night.. they take cash or check only, bathrooms did not work... no one was ever in the office to ask questions.. over priced at $55 a night for my wife and our 3 Grandkids considering no amenities other than full hookup pull thru..

I made a monthly reservation for a site and when I showed up there was no available sites. Called the number on the door and was told to pick any of the three available sites. Each site listed was taken. This park accepts cash or check only, reservations are not held with payment or documented. The park is being ran by a brother and sister and I was subjected to their sibling rivalry while they blamed each other. These two run this park as a hobby not a business. My worst ever experience at an RV park!

Canyon Trail RV Parks accepts cash or checks only. We was a late arrival and was told to call when we arrived and they would show us our spot and get us taken care of. When we arrived we were told on the phone what space we were in and told to put out fee in an envelope and place in the slot in the door. At the time we were not told they do not accept checks so was going to wait until morning to pay. Approximately an hour later someone as beating on our door asking where our money was. We explained we would pay by credit card in the morning. We were told to put our cash or check in an envelope and put in the slot in the front door. We came back with a crane truck a few days later and parked in an empty lot adjacent to the park entrance. We received a call from the manager saying we could not park there and had not gotten permission. We explained it was only overnight and no one was around to ask permission. They advised it would cost $40 to park overnight. This is just to park, no hook ups and not in anyone's way. When we paid the $40 we did not receive a receipt and did not receive a receipt for the space. Wonder when the last time they were audited?

We spent three nights here. Great location in between San Antonio and Austin. Convenient to the highway, yet far enough off the road for privacy. It's very clean and well maintained. The hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. We had to leave a day early, unexpectedly, and there were no questions about getting a refund.
