Nice clean room with a very comfy king bed. Friendly staff. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc. large room that was a good deal for the money. Easy access to everything. Would recommend for seniors or families. Close to several nice restaurants.

I stayed at this hotel on December 11th 2015. It was okay. Our room was clean, but the handles on the shower kept coming out whenever I would turn the water on. It was very noisy and hardly got any sleep. Probably would recommend another place to stay if going to San Angelo.

The only person there who treated my disabled son and me with any respect was a cleaning lady named Patricia. When we got there, our room was on the 2nd floor after I'd been assured they'd be on the 1st to accommodate my son's wheelchair. When told that wouldn't work, I was told I could have a double non-smoking. But... More

Had little choice this night, after 500 miles driving, weather closing in, this was the only place with rooms in our price bracket. If we had had more time, would probably looked a little harder. Saying that, it our rooms were clean, if a little tired. The Wifi worked better than other hotels and we were treated to the most... More

In San Angelo, all of the more modern hotels average 145$ per night. OUCH! This one happened to be closer to my son's home and so, at 11:15 pm, we were tired and took a chance. Pros: Cheap, convenient for us. Cons: older, thin walls. Train could be heard rumbling past (behind building), People would talk below our window and... More

I stayed here on 12/6 to 12/7. walked into room 106 strong odor. As a head housekeeper from a competitor in Del Rio Tx. i started inspecting the room. Coverlet/bedspread was dirty had gum stuck to it, wall spattered with coffee stains, shower curtain was dirty, and the worst of all the microwave had old sweet potatoes in it. all... More

We had not made reservations anywhere in San Angelo and looked at the various motels from the outside. Americas Best looked reasonable. Once we had checked in and entered the room it was hard to believe it was classed as non-smoking. And it went downhill from there. The sheets on the bed had spots - age? Something else? The shower... I stayed at this motel in Feb of this year and was pleased with most everything. My experience in June was very different. The price had gone up 40%, and the clerk said there were improvements. The first non-smoking room given me had a strong unpleasant odor. She offered me a handicapped room that reeked of smoke. I accepted the... More

With the oil boom still going on, this is by far the best value in San Angelo. I travel there 3-4 times a year. The rooms are large and comfortable, though they are in dire need of remodeling, needs painting etc. But, nice big TV's, comfortable beds. Since I refuse to pay $200 to stay at a so-so Best Western... More
