My girl friend and I had a wonderful stay at Weatherstone B&B this past weekend. It's truly a beautiful, peaceful, venue. As is the town of Salado. The cabins and guest rooms are all splendid and Kay is a wonderful hostess who whipped up the most awesome breakfast i've just about ever had. I think i'm still full from it... More

We had the Corn Crib suite......so darling. There is a kig bed room with attached bath, and then an enclosed porch with two twin beds and a living area with sofabed, tv., and tables. There are lots of magazines, a lovely porch with rocking chairs, and gorgeous live oaks. I awoke early to a herd of deer.......but then there was... More

Make sure you book the Weaning Cabin!!! Charming, fun, cozy, private, unique, histornic, peaceful and the BEST and MOST yummy, edible breakfast art created by Kay, inn keeper extraordinaire. Whether you are sitting in a chair swing overlooking the private pond, cooling your toosies in nearby Salado river, or exploring the many, clustered shops, you will find much to do... More

We were looking for a relaxing place to spend a weekend away. Weatherstone was the perfect choice. When sitting on the porch you have a beautiful view of the Salado Creek. It is so quiet and peaceful on this property. The Innkeeper, Kay could not have been nicer. Breakfast was wonderful. We shared our likes and dislikes with her before... More

Weatherstone is a great experience all the way around. Beautifully appointed, great location, and scrumptous breakfast. Not least in my raves is Kay, the inkeeper. Kay will make your stay perfect, accommodating all kinds of needs and wishes. We have stayed many places in Salado, and we go back here. Just a great get away!!

I have stayed at Weatherstone 4 years in a row during the Salado Stroll. It is the perfect place to be in Salado - close enough to the main street to walk just about everywhere, yet set back enough that you enjoy lots of peace and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and you can walk across the road and be... More

Our room (the Corn Crib Suite) was clean and roomy and a great place to visit. The hospitality was great and the food delicious. This was our second visit and we will come back again.

“The qweaning room is god for a couple - it has a kingsized bed and a leather sofa. There is a king bed and bath in the main house, and then there is the Corn Crib, where we stayed.”
