Stayed here recently to see if it could work for a family reunion. Came specifically to see the Villa- which is now for sale. Gee, would have been nice to know that before we drove 2.5 hours to see it. We spent the night in one of the mini-suites. It was clean. Had microwave and small fridge. Not enough towels... More

If you are looking for an east coast feel, pastel cottages and all, then Pelican Bay is perfection... Old oaks line the winding lane that takes you down into the property with a darling cottage perfectly positioned on either side of lane. The abundance of speckled shade provides plenty of protection from the coastal sun, but not to much to... More

The pastel colors of the cottages and big oak trees are so appealing when driving in. However, once you get your keys and pull up to the cottages you will notice how dusty these really are, including the rocking chairs. After sight seeing throughout the day we returned wanting to sit outside. We had to use three towels to wash... More

Unfortunately this review is a little disturbing to me as the owner of Pelican Bay Resort. This customer says they stayed in May of 2016. I am not sure as to what transpired during their stay and being that it was 3 months ago it is a little hard to address the issues that were mentioned here. The porch lights... More

Aesthetically, these cottages are cute, angled, and pastel. We did not find the parking to be an issue, nor did we have any noisy neighbors. There is, however, a nearby airport, and planes went overhead frequently during the day. The sofabed is your standard springy uncomfie pullout (we had to sweep bugs off but it IS the beach), and the... More

Nice small cabins with kitchens, refrigerator, and living room with high ceilings and nice wood trim. Really good value. Nice and very clean. Same price as the chain hotels, but roomier and drive up to the door. Beds are a bit on the soft side, but good. Most importantly, good A/C!

the cottages are really cute & cozy. with all the trees, it really keeps the place shaded and cool. the cottages are quite close to each other & their is not much room to park... We stayed here recently, the cottages are really cute & cozy. They are quite close to the other cottages, & theirs not much room to park, but we were able to deal with that. The Pier is Very Nice & my husband & kiddos could of spend hours out their, but on our Trip it was horribly Windy so they... More

First off, the cabins are so cozy with rocking chairs on the front porch - nice touch. My daughter and nephew really enjoyed feeding the resident squirrels peanuts. The kitchen was well stocked and I was able to actually cook a meal from our catch of the day. Bed was comfortable and restroom clean. The pool was small for the... More

The cottages at Pelican bay are a throwback to the 1960's - I can see our old 63 Impala wagon parked here if I tried. They are a bit dated and tired, but again, three or so years since we last stayed here, they are clean comfortable and functional, especially for the price. Good location too, offering easy access to... More

This was a bit of a surprise. The separate cabin buildings have roomy kitchen-dining area-living areas with a separate bedroom along with a bathroom. Very nice really. Full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, oven, along with dishes, pots & pans, silverware, everything you need. You park your car next to the room and there are a couple of rockers on a... More
