They are replacing the HVAC system and it sounds like an airplane taking off. They refused to issue refund so I could find other lodging. Every time it turned on it roared. Buyer beware!!! NO SLEEP!!

Beautiful location on the water. Great choice of local restaurants within walking distance. Fantastic breakfast. Hot coffee and tea all day. Our room was large and had an - unexpected - full kitchen. Highly suggest a room overlooking the bay. Enjoyed rocking on our porch during the sunrise. Only a short druve to Port Aransas and Corpus Christi.

I traveled to Rockport with my mom for a short trip to the coast, and we, as always, stayed here. We love this hotel! The staff was terrific and most helpful throughout our stay...and Diane in the bar is terrific! Our only complaint is that the mattresses in our room were well beyond their prime...they were pretty uncomfortable. But, we didn't go for the beds...we went for the bayside rocking chairs, the local food, and the area scenery. We're already planning our next trip down!

This hotel has it all! The Staff is top notch, exceptionally friendly and were a wealth of information regarding restaurants etc. There is a lovely bar and restaurant off of the lobby with great views of the bay. Our breakfast, which is included with you reservation, was delicious and definitely an upgrade from the regular fare served at most hotels. You can enjoy it in the restaurant or bring a plate to your room and eat on the balcony which ours had 2 very comfortable rocking chairs. Beds are comfy, rooms are nicely appointed and well air conditioned. Thank you so much for your relaxing and lovely accommodations as we enjoyed our time in Rockport. WE WILL BE BACK!!❤️

I found this Inn to be very nice and clean and staff is friendly and engaging. We had a king suite on the pool garden side. It was the only room available so we took it. But the bay side affords a great view and nice breeze. I don’t know if it costs more or not but the bay offers fishing off the Inn’s pier and a great (cool) spot to watch the moon rise. I’m sure it’s also a great spot to watch the sunrise too. Just wasn’t up in time. But the breakfast served is quite delicious so don’t miss it. Just your normal fair but fresh and potatoes were crispy! The pool fills up fast with kids and can be loud. Some played their music loud but I didn’t say anything. Some kids were playing ball and my mom was hit with it. They apologized and stopped playing as with a crowded pool, throwing balls and playing loud music may not be the place. But there was no one from the Inn to supervise (no lifeguard.) For a relaxing time around water, we went to the Rockport Beach. Despite the shenanigans at the pool, I will stay here again!

Excellent place to stay when on a fishing trip in south Texas. Room was clean, cold and quiet. An older hotel on the water with plenty of places nearby to get your fill of great food. Breakfast provided each morning with plenty of choices. Hotel staff very helpful and very friendly.

The lighthouse Inn is not an upscale hotel. The air conditioning in the suite was very noisy, almost impossible to get any sleep. The free breakfast was very basic, Just scrambled eggs and toast and waffles and only one person attending. The facility is clean and well kept but the staff is rude and not helpful. The Bayside rooms have a great view of the bay.

Hotel is on a point overlooking the bay. The bay view rooms open to a private grass area with chairs and a pier. Having a 1st floor room you are able to walk right out onto this area. The hotel is very clean and updated. There is a restaurant and bar, but it does not open until dinner time. Friendly staff.

The Lighthouse Inn ruined our weekend. We were celebrating my daughter’s college graduation. The Inn canceled our reservations because THEY messed up and had two reservations open for us. So when we did not show up on the day we were NOT supposed to check in, they canceled both reservations instead of contacting us to clarify the situation. And they charged my mother’s account without authorization plus no rooms available. Do not trust these people or give them your money. Terrible customer service!
