Great views on the bay side, fishing pier rebuilt from Harvey. King size bedroom with full kitchen room. Bed not the best. If you are going to book a room with a kitchen you should probably bring a good skillet. Kitchen only has 4 glasses, 3 forks, spoons, and butter knifes. No sharp knives, no spatula at all, no toaster, salt or pepper shakers etc. Christmas dinner was served $30 per plate, however breakfast isn't served. It is grab and go because of Covid. Juice bottles, sweet rolls, a banana, kolache or taco. Close to a few restaurants, didn't see any within walking distance for breakfast. Just lunch or dinner. Personally at hotel very nice. Ice machine on each floor. Nothing special for a 25th wedding anniversary. Kids next to our room who liked knocking on our door even with the do not disturb signs. Wasn't thrilled about an anniversary stay with kids next and across from our room.

We are avid travelers, but with Covid restrictions , we were looking for a safe, comfortable , and beautiful setting in Texas to celebrate our Anniversary. I chose Rockport because of the birding and chance to see Whooping Cranes. I was hesitant to book at the Lighthouse Inn because of a few negative reviews , but am SO GLAD that I decided to give them a chance. The location is perfect. We booked a room with a bay view and enjoyed watching the oyster boats leave in the morning before sunrise and return loaded down in late afternoon. My husband loved the new fishing pier ( which he had to himself ) He caught several trout. I highly recommend the Rockport Birding and Kayak Whooping Crane tour. We saw dolphin , cranes and more. The coffee at Thr Duck Blind was excellent. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel was clean , beautiful and Covid aware. We felt safe at all times. We will definitely be back.

I stayed here. It was our first and last time to stay there and warning for other to be careful before you book. Our room was located on 3rd floor as you walk down the hall to our room you could see dust and what looked like mold on the doors. -In lobby spider 🕷 webs everywhere - very Small rooms - Small shower area, you can’t even move - no rooms services - No cleaning the room if you stay more than one day. - get your towel from front desk. - Rude front counter people - Rude manager - No hot breakfast only muffins, kolache and juice. - it choose it because of good location but hotel management will make your experience worse. - I got eye infection from the dirty pillow case and bed sheets. In our hotel room there was dust piled up on doors. They claimed to have done a deep clean due to the pandemic but that’s was a lie. Truly sad because it would be a great location for family to fish with their kids on their private pier but the rooms were dirty as you can see in the pictures. I cleaned with disinfectant wipes and they were black when I was done and this was done after they did a “deep cleaning” due to The pandemic. Read more

Just stayed there. Had some booking issues but they sent me a confirmation letter with AARP rate and twice confirmed the rate. But they don't charge you until you check out and when I checked out they charged a much higher rate! The manager would not honor the confirmation letter. I would recommend you go somewhere that is more "honest". The restaurant staff are fabulous.
