I stayed at the Hilton Richardson Dallas by myself on a business trip for about a full week. The reason for 2 stars is because: 1) There were BED BUGS and I had gotten bitten ALL over. There were also cockroaches. They did give me a new room, but did nothing else to compensate me for the inconvenience (and that’s an understatement). 2) The new room did not have a working phone, so they could call me, but I could NOT call them. The TV kind of worked, it would turn off at different times at night and I’d have to turn it back on. 3) The elevators were a little sketchy and the doors were slow to open and close. Not a big deal for me, but left a lot of time for awkward silence waiting for the doors to close… 4) Bad communication - I used their 3rd party laundry service in hopes to save all my clothes. They did not explain well on how to hand it off and my clothes were lost for the rest of the day, did not get it back till the evening next day. 5) Another instance of bad communication - In the middle of my trip, I was checked out of my hotel room consistently for 3 days. My room card did not work so I had to constantly go to the front desk to get it reactivated after I came back from my work. The rest of the stay was fine, just the fact that I was always constantly on edge every time I went back to the hotel. After that bed bug incident the first day I slept with the light on every night and had to layer up. They did NOT check up on me or reassure me of anything. I constantly had to come down to the desk and ask them questions, make sure there were no more hiccups, or having to help fix their with mistakes. Overall, really stressful trip. Would NOT recommend this hotel to ANYONE.

It was a quick trip to Dallas . We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt- beds comfortable, sheets we loved, plenty of room for 3 adults. Love how the bathroom was set up. Loved the open shelving for clothes & other items ! We would definitely stay here again.

My digital key did not work when I got to my room. Had to go back to the front desk and start the check in process all over again. When I finally got my key card and got to my room the card didn't work. I've been a loyal Hilton Honors member for 15 years and have never paid for parking at any of the Hilton Honors hotels I've stayed at. It was also my understanding that as a Diamond member I would have free Diamond parking at all Hilton Honors supported hotels. The room is already over priced for the quality of service received at this location. To add a $15.00 parking fee is just absolute greed on Hiltons behalf or the Owner of this property. For $15.00 I should get a reserved parking spot or a valet. At the very least they should provide live security personnel in the parking lot making sure that their valued guest cars are not broken into! I was offered a $15.00 food credit, keep the powdered eggs, stale biscuits, etc... and give me a $15.00 parking credit! I see no reason to go back to this location and if this is the model of business that Hilton has chosen to go forward with , I will be going in a different direction.

Poorly trained staff, stale food, unorganized not all of the benefits touted offered. Deferred maintenance, was shown as “new”. Apparently it was a Hyatt that was rebranded a year ago. Worn out, shiny lobby but that’s it.

There were nats in my room on the 6th floor. I got bitten up, lost sleep, etc. They did switch me (a Supervisor who should know better) rooms to again the 6th floor (I was concerned) - no apology, no upgrade, no points, no discount. Get to the second room, no shampoo. I will not return to this hotel.

I arrived for business travel late in the evening. Front desk clerk was very pleasant. Got to my room and the A/C was not working. I assumed it would eventually adjust. However, it did not. Front desk clerk was very responsive and sent a technician who could not get the A/C to drop from 87 degrees. Luckily, the front office clerk immediately booked me a nearby room and brought up the key to me, which I thought was great customer service. The room was nice, clean, updated. Of note, the shower's water pressure was very low. The fitness center was adequate with a few treadmills, machines, and a few free weights. The water bottles overflowed the trash can. I used sanitizer to clean the machines prior to use. Staffing was limited in the restaurant for breakfast, but they addressed the delay in coming to the table and were very accommodating. The breakfast burrito was okay, though the wrap was soggy. Again, friendly staff made up for it. I will not being staying here again.

I recently stayed in The Hilton Richardson Dallas Tx. For work as an RN. This was a terrible experience and possibly the worst hotel staff I’ve seen. Upon checkin I was sent to room 824 that was a smoking room. The elevator was broken, buttons would turn off waiting a long time and other guests were complaining about being stuck inside making a young girl cry. After requesting a room change my next room was much smaller, angled less comfortable. I’m tall and the vanity was shorter, the toilet wouldn’t flush the entire stay, tub plug was broken. Staff pretended to care but did absolutely nothing to ensure things got fixed or that I was comfortable. Two questions could have saved me lugging my bags to 2 unacceptable rooms. 1) is a smoking room ok? 2) is a smaller angled room ok?? No follow up on the toilet issue. The last day there the breakfast staff, an older women and young boy, ignored us. I had to get my own menu and ask 4 times for coffee. The restaurant wasn’t busy, majority of the tables weren’t seated. I was told after ordering that the continental breakfast on the menu came came with only 1 item, huh the name is continental but ok, so I ordered the loaded oatmeal. when it came we had to ask for the berries, that’s when the waitress finally acknowledged us and snapped at us, after another nurse and I’d been sitting patiently for 30 min. then were told there wasn’t anymore brown sugar! I was there for work. The final straw was upon getting home I realized I left an entire toiletries bag on the bathroom hook. After calling for 3 days and being told the housekeeping was in charge of that. Today I was told it’s not there. An entire toiletries bag has vanished off the Hilton premises. wow!!! I have stayed all over the world this was by far the worst Hotel experience ever! I lost a valuable piece of jewelry in a hotel in NOLA. Not only did they go to great lengths to find it when they did they mailed it back to me. This staff can’t locate a large pink full bag! The best thing was the evening I checked in, it was late, restaurant bar staff was great, a gentleman quickly got an order placed for a burger because the kitchen was closing. It went downhill from there.

This hotel could have been nice. I checked in and got to my room and was surprised at how beautiful the room was. It went downhill real quick though. I went to wash my hands and noticed that there wasn’t any soap and that my thermostat was blank and not working. I called down to the front desk about both and they said they would send someone up. They changed a battery in the thermostat and got that working, but they told me they were out of soap. I was appalled. We were in the midst of Covid, not to mention all the other illnesses that can spread in areas where there are a lot of people, like in a hotel, and there was NO soap for the guest rooms. My coworker also had no soap in her room. I told them that was completely unacceptable to not provide soap for the guest rooms. They managed to find me some. I then went into the toilet area and noticed it hadn’t been cleaned well at all. Dirty toilet paper behind the toilet seat and what looked like vomit or the other alternative on the toilet and the floor. I called and asked for another room as that was not satisfactorily cleaned. They moved me to another room, which wasn’t as nice, but as long as it was clean, I didn’t care. I truly feel that in NO circumstance is it okay to not provide soap in rooms where people are using the bathroom and have no way to wash their hands before exiting their rooms and using public surfaces. On a high note, the restaurant was great! I have a wheat allergy and they were wonderful and so careful with my breakfast and the waitress was wonderful!

As I am typing this at 2:18 in the morning we had a reservation booked and we had our reservation confirmation number and the young lady at the front was very rude and stated our reservation was cancelled because they were sold out, but did not bother to even call us and let us know when we had to drive 18 hours to get to our destination and we find out that we no longer have a room. The lady at the front had an attitude as if she did not care did not even apologize or tried to offer us another hotel available or attempted to help. Be careful with this hotel because they will cancel without calling and notifying you. Especially when every hotel is sold out and we had to stay at a hotel that was 400$ a night. This is ridiculous very unprofessional if they knew ahead of time that they were sold out they could’ve called us. I used to work at a hotel and I know they need to call every reservation to make sure that the guests are showing up or at least to notify us it will be first come first served. Will definitely tell my family and friends that use Hilton a lot not to come to this specific one, especially being a Hilton member! Horrible.

Dealing with broken elevators, hot room and delayed check in (hours) we were givin complimentary breakfast. While us the parents were packing up, our kids (18 and 11) went down to breakfast. They were followed by Brian and he asked them "are you going to pay for that?" 1st they weren't leaving they were getting coffee and yougurt 2nd there was no directions on the card or staff around for them to hand it to. My oldest showed him the card which was for four, he snatched it from her and walked away. They were very upset about his behavior. I went down to talk to him and he accused them of stealing "if they left the restaurant" are you kidding? They were still in there. I'm surprised due that the other staff members were amazing. I also reached out to the general mangement, no response. Think, he needs to be redirected to customer training, and not management.
