The entire experience including location, grounds, check-in, accommodations, dining, pools, staff, entertainment, and value far exceeded all expectations. The staff was extremely accommodating, personable, and knowledgeable at every turn; the grounds were well kept and lively but never crowded; and the food/beverage quality, variety, and convenience was truly top notch. We also very much enjoyed the sunset cruise, but there were numerous other activities on premises and nearby we hope to try next time. We've already told many friends/family about this gem and can't wait to return personally... hopefully for a longer stay!

I will not have enough room here to properly thank and praise everyone at Tanglewood. When you are tasked with finding a location to comfortably accommodate 225 sales people, plus a video/technical staff of 8, you know someone will find something to complain about. Not here. We effectively took over the Resort and neither the Leadership Staff nor I heard any negative comments about the rooms, food, or service. Many people requested we return next year as everything went so well. We had an afternoon for fun events and Teresa (Events Coordinator) arranged golf, fishing, horseback riding, Extreme Sandbox, and set up rooms for Painting with a Twist, and Pickles & Pottery. A regret of mine was not being able to personally thank the Chef and kitchen staff for the excellent food! They were too busy working their magic behind the scenes. Wonderful variety of dishes, more than enough for everyone to eat their fill, mouth watering desserts (especially the tiramisu!), and special accommodations for attendees with allergies and dietary restrictions. Not only did we discover a place large enough to handle our particular needs, we found one great enough to make us feel like family. A most heartfelt thank you to Roger & Sarah (the owners), John (General Manager), Teresa (Events Coordinator), Josh, Lt. Dan, Misty, Corey, Johnny, and everyone who helped us with "Making Connections" on professional and personal levels.

We felt a tremendous sense of pride hosting your organization for a number of reasons. It's important to us, AideDeCamp, that you know we approached this as a privilege to have a first rate, successful, philanthropic company like yours at our resort. Up and down our ranks, as with yours, know that the centerpiece of what made it such an enjoyable experience is you. From our family to yours, we wish you the very best.

We simply adored this property. It has something for absolutely everyone. Indoor game room, outdoor games, cabanas with view of the pool outfitted with fire pits. 3 pools and hot tub are near the cabanas and playground. There is an observation tower to view the lake and surrounding areas. The property is extremely secluded so quiet is definitely on the agenda. There is a little store in the lobby and a clean larger store a short distance up the road, should you need anything at all. There is horseback riding nearby and although we didn't visit these areas there were a tennis court, basketball, horseshoes and golf as well as lake equipment rentals. Adjacent to the pool is a small pub with absolutely delicious pizza's. Towels are provided poolside as are ample covered tables. Our breakfast was freshly made and the servings were impressive. Our rooms were very very clean - very impressed as the entire property was kept clean. We saw people all over the property keeping it maintained. We were super impressed and hope to be back soon for a longer stay!

I would love to give you the full run-down on this resort, but I can't. But, if you play golf, bring your clubs! My wife and I were visiting and wandering around researching golf courses and places to possibly move to. This course was the last one we found, and we wished we had found it sooner. The golf course was in good shape; the layout was well designed; and pro-shop and grill were well staffed and friendly. I would especially like to thank golf pro, Mike Fish, for making our visit truly wonderful. He gave us information on membership, type of leagues and tournaments available, and much more. He really made us feel at home. We really felt this was one of the better golf venues we visited, and a great deal also.

Where do I begin? My friends and I were in search of a bro's weekend getaway at Lake Texoma for the Fourth of July weekend (when the girlfriends are away, the boys will play), and all AirBNB cabins were booked. Not having been to Lake Texoma before, and totally unfamiliar with the area, I booked the first thing I could find for a decent rate. Luckily, Tanglewood had a double queen suite and was more than willing to accommodate us with a rollaway bed. After leaving Dallas early Saturday morning, we realized we would arrive several hours before the check-in time. So I called the resort to inquire about an early check in. The person who answered the phone was coincidentally the GM - "Saint" John. Although I am no horse trader (amirite, John?), John gladly accommodated our early arrival with a no-hassle early check in. To top it off, John personally greeted me and mah bro's upon arrival and gave us a personal tour of the property. Knowing we had rented a boat for the day and were not familiar with the lake, John took us up to the Tower Lounge for a breathtaking view of the lake, with personal recommendations on where to spend the afternoon boating. (Note to reader: there are private "tower suites" below the Tower Lounge, which I am told are a great place to bring the Mrs. for a romantic getaway - will definitely heed the recommendation at a later date). On our way back to the front desk, before our lake excursion, John politely reminded a staff member in the hallway to deliver the rollaway bed to our room; the bed was promptly delivered within minutes. Upon John's suggestion, we high tailed it in the boat to the famous islands of Lake Texoma, which was a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Later in the evening, upon the staff's recommendation, we dined at the Island Bar and Grill, where the margaritas and lively atmosphere appropriately provided for an exuberant evening filled with dancing. The Windbreakers provided a jolt of energy with an incredible double set filled with yacht rock, where patrons danced the night away. As the millennials say, it was "Lit." After a fun-filled night, we awoke a little bleary-eyed and behind schedule, cutting it extremely close to the predetermined checkout time. Upon calling the front desk, we were warmly greeted by Yvonne, who, sensing our angst, offered to extend our checkout time by one hour free of charge. Of course, we used the money saved to dine at Arroyo's, a delicious little nearby diner offering Mexican cuisine (try the fajitas - you will not be disappointed). Thanks to "Saint" John and the incredible Tanglewood staff, it truly was "A Trip to Remember." John and Co. are top notch at selling fun.
