You will not find another RV Park as quiet and pristine as this one. Concrete roads, pads and walkways thru out the entire park. Propane is available anytime when the office is open which is 7 days with long hours. The only mention that keeps this from being a 5 is the placement of the pads for sitting and picnic tables on most sites. With a big rig you will have to walk in the grass to get to the back where the pad is. Interesting little town with a movie theater and $5 Senior movies that are current, several good and interesting restaurants. Good two day stop or a week or a month.

If you are a long-term RV'r this would be a great community for you. If however, you are a recreational RV'r like we are, you might be turned off by the ratio of long-term to recreational RV'rs.
The park itself is pristine! The lake is beautiful and inviting. They have a dog park in the back that is well kept also.
The only draw back is that it doesn't have that vacation / recreation vibe to it. If your looking for the hanging outdoors, cooking out and socializing this really isn't conducive for that. I would say that 2/3+ of this park is long-term workers from the local refineries. They do set high standards for their guests in terms of keeping things neat and tidy in your slot and that's what makes this park look so nice. We are recreational RV'rs and would like a little more vacation feel. They do have a very nice pool and hot tub and their shower/ restrooms are awesome! I would rather use their shower than the one in my trailer!
They also have WiFi service but it's not a reliable enough signal to work from. I don't know if the bandwidth needs to be higher to handle more of a streaming environment ( or maybe offer a higher paid service for those who need it) but we had issues with it the entire 4 days were there. I ended up using my phone as a hotspot (which I don't like to do if WiFi is part of my rental rate) for those times I had to get online.
Bottom line is this park is really quiet and clean. They take pride in their property and it shows!!

There are only a few overnight spots; most sites rented to people who work at a plastics plant - many come home at 6 p.m. & leave early. Which is ok, however I felt like I was signing my life away when registering - don't drive on the grass, if your camper leaks you're charge. Don't put anything on the grass. In fact, I felt like my site would be inspected when I left. to be on the safe side I took pictures of the cement & prior spots after we arrived & noticed someone had (drove on the corner of the grass near the cement - as grass was dead so felt they may send us a bill so documented that it'd been done prior & pictures of clean cement where our MH sat. Just not the sort of place I would ever stay again. They claim in their paperwork it's not a landlord/tenant relationship, but sure felt like it.
This was an extremely high priced for one night, but we wanted wifi. Which did work. Shower was nice. There was a pond. There was a lot of traffic noise in the area. RV Sites were close to each other.

Beautiful place to go with an RV . Kids fished in lake, enjoyed the pool, and we relaxed in the hot tub . Nice walking trail around the pond , and dog friendly with a small dog park . Lots of areas to saltwater fish nearby . This pic was my view from the back of my trailer . We will go back in the near future.

We stayed here for 4 days. It is a beautiful Rv park. Very quiet. Very clean. My family kept asking each other if they saw the bathrooms. Beautifully tiled. Each bathroom is private and has a shower, sink and toilet. They prefer to shower in there instead of the camper. They also have a fenced in dog run, which is always nice. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Lots of blue gill in that lake for catch and release, you can even buy a bag of fish food in the gift shop for $1.00 and feed the little guys. After seeing the other rv parks around the area. This is by far the best. Again it's very clean, up keep is great and it's quiet. The only thing I wish they had was a play ground and a sand volleyball net for the kids cause they were a little bored after playing in the pool. Glad we choose this park !!!!

We had to come into Port Lavaca for work and needed a one night stay. The people at the resort were very friendly and accommodating. Even got a walk through tour of the facilities. This is a great place to stay if you are an RVer. We are even thinking of coming back down just for a weekend or so when we just need to get away for a bit. Talked to several other RVers and they seemed to be very happy about this resort. We will be back.

We saw the website, read the ads, even read a few reviews. We decided to spend a month. Then we got there. The word Resort doesn't apply -- sure they have a pool and clubhouse. However the pool is closed randomly when the managers feel the "residents" are not behaving. There are no scheduled activities and they can't blame COVID because everything is wide open didn't even need a mask in the office. I use the word resident because most people there have been there for years.
They have a long list of rules and pick and choose which to follow. Clutter or nothing stored under the RV -- not followed. Junk, refrigerators, freezers, etc under and around most RVs.. Quiet time -- not followed because of the train of diesel trucks leaving for work at 5 am with their music blaring. Nothing in the grass-- I mean NOTHING! We understand no rugs but chairs? No they had to be picked up nightly. Oh wait if you are friend of the managers then you can have you dog fence in the yard the whole time. Yet we watched the guard go tell a non-resident to pick up his fence even though he would be leaving the next day. Yes they have a fenced in dog area but the residents rarely clean up after their dogs and the groundskeeper doesn't clean that area. We had our dog on a lease laying on a rug on cement sleeping in the sun, the manager came by to tell us we either had to bring her in or we had to be outside with her. She wasn't barking or bothering anyone. Make sure your RV doesn't leave a stain of any kind on the cement pad -- you'll get a fine. Accidentally drive across the corner of the grass -- you'll get a fine. Even though the way the pads are layed out its difficult not to hit the grass or a huge dually pick-up truck parked partially in the road.
Don't worry if you are abiding by the rules because they will tell you about it or send you an email.
Now for the staff -- they won't even wave as they cruise by on their cart, the office staff will let you stand waiting until they feel the need to talk to you. I understand it's a campground and a little more relaxed but if you office staff is wearing bright colored underware / thong maybe she shouldn't be wearing very tight thin yoga pants. Some of us really don't want to see that. There is something called customer service so don't be surprised and rude if someone asks you a question.
We definitely won't be back -- actually we left early even though there were no refunds for early departure.

Very nice high quality park with great facilities and sites, the cable had about 100 channels, the park is about 95% monthly or permanents. Only a handful of transient sites, we did not note a police presence as one reviewer posted or a noise problem
Not a heck of a a lot to do in the city but it had all the basic fast food places and grocery stores and Walmart - we did some great birding south of town. Our site did not have a picnic table or patio but some sites had them

It's very clean, it has a nice hot tub and a pool.
It's pricey, you can NOT step on grass (around your camper) or have anything outside of your camper.
There are alot alot of RV's parked there, you will hear vehicles starting up early hours of the morning (lots of workers and families there).
I personally didn't like it because I could not sit outside and relax in my chair without a Worker Riding on the Gulf Cart policing around constantly. (My perception).

The park is well kept, clean and nice. We had fun fishing in the pond and swimming in the pool. The only issue was with the very rude resident on site 58. She is nosy, rude, and just down right mean. If she continues to speak to guests the way she does, this park is going to lose visitors. I don’t want to go back because of her.
