This is a good place to go if you’re wanting to be right on the beach with friends. Nothing fancy at all. Rooms were clean but no place to hang up or drawers to put away clothes. Lots of counter space though. Beds are very soft with flat pillows and old sheets. Thin and frayed bath towels. There is no room service and if you need anything(TP or soap) or want fresh towels, you have to take them down yourself & get them from the bar staff. We stayed in room 21 which is one of the large upstairs rooms. It had two rooms with 6 beds total. When you enter, you’re in the first room with 2 double beds and a full. In this front room, there is also a breakfast table, full sized fridge and microwave. No privacy in this room if you have people going in and out to get to the fridge or go to the back bedroom. Do not recommend taking your family as it’s a party 24/7. This was fine since we were with friends. Pool is cleaned daily but no real filtration system. Being your own chairs.
Restaurant and bar onsite and are open air but they made it very clear that masks are optional (if you care about that sort of thing). Food was ok at best as well as drinks but staff was very friendly. The best thing is the location and it’s close proximity to the beach.

This place was not at all what we expected. The rooms were filthy and the smell of garbage was so strong outside our room that we couldn’t even sit on the front porch area. Our room smelled of sour bleach-type smell, tv didn’t really work well on any particular channel, shower & bathroom area was also dirty. We were supposed to stay two nights but forfeited

After my son went skydiving we decided to go over to the beach for a quick lunch

This place is the only restaurant on the beach in port Arkansas

We settled in for a couple of beers and my son had a cheese burger and I ate an oyster poor boy

They were both excellent.

Great casual lunch. Highly recommend it. Not fancy just good food

If you are looking for a place where everyone is drinking or drunk 24/7, this is the place to go. Went here with my daughter and grandkids and all the other guests are drinking all day long, even in front of their teenagers and kids. The rooms are okay but they need to have management or someone on the premises in case other guests get too drunk and unruly.

I want to start by saying for over 10 years I’ve worked as a manager in the service industry, so I give benefit of the doubts and understanding, and I’ve never been so disappointed. Went to the “restaurant/bar” and was shocked at the poor quality, uncleanliness, and poor service.

I don’t even know where to start. We sat at the bar at 1:30pm and was ignored for the first 10 minutes as the waitresses/tenders stood around (we were the only 2 at the bar). Finally got a menu (they only sell beer and wine, which is not an issue). Ordered water, “beacharita”, and chips and queso. Never got water, the drink was weak and tasted like spoiled wine. We were done with our drinks for 25 minutes and we finally got the “chips and queso”. It was canned queso and stale chips served in a dirty dish. You get better chips and queso from a movie theater. We couldn’t even eat it, and decided to not order pizza or anything else from them, as the quality of the appetizer was extremely poor and took way too long to get it. We asked for the bill and their system was down, so we had to wait another 15 mins just to pay the $40 and leave. We didn’t get out of there until 2:40.

You look around and there’s grime on the bar, the walls, the floor, and the frozen mix spout. You look down the hall to the kitchen and you see dirty water pouring out the side of the wall into the kitchen. The workers are just walking through it like it’s nothing.

Use to love hanging here. Beautiful views, friendly bartenders, decent menu, etc. Went yesterday evening after being gone for about 2 months. Terrible! Small, skinny plastic wine glass was filled less than a 3rd. Asked about it and told new measurement in effect. Previously filled these small plastic glasses which was likely about 6 oz. Just not feeling the vibes. Bring back the Bar Lodge!

We like this place because it is instant access to the beach, has a good restaurant at reasonable prices and a friendly staff. There is a nice pool and picnic area with a grill. The rooms are basic but clean. If you are looking for 5 star service the Beach Lodge is not for you. We like to call the Lodge the original Margaritaville, come relax stumble out of bed and walk a few steps to the restaurant. We have been going there every year and are never disapointed.

The menu has changed for the worse, the waitress (bless her heart) wasn’t the best (inexperienced maybe), no kids menu, no onion rings which is why my husband wanted to go back (their onion rings used to be very good), the flies on the deck were a nightmare. And as if all this wasn’t bad enough I went to the restroom, opened the door and an alive and well cockroach fell from the door. Absolutely Disgusting!!!! This place has gone downhill badly! A shame, we liked it for the view and laid back atmosphere. Never again. And if I’d ever considered staying in the hotel, which I have, that’ll never ever happen! Steer clear!

This used to be really good. We went back today for a shrimp po-boy. Nope, after 3:00, there’s a different menu—no po-boys, no hamburgers or sandwiches. We didn’t have much time, so we ordered chips and queso. The queso was like a Tostitos jar from the grocery —nasty. The chips were from a bag of Tostitos. It was bad!! They need to change their menu back to what it was.

Yes, there are. There is a small patio for barbequeing also, with a couple of picnic tables. You will be very comfortable there.
