We have stayed at Northshore a lot over the past two years, and were there full time for the months of Oct thru Dec. each year. Due to my husbands deer lease is only a couple miles away and my 5 yr old Gdaughter loves the splash pad. This past weekend kind of made me mad and we probably won't...

Loved the cabin. It was small but was perfect for our family of four. Everything was well maintained and clean. Kids enjoyed the splash park, the beach, and swimming pool. They were worn our by the end of the day!

We stayed in one of the cabins recently and it was real nice. The cabins are small but very well contained. The only thing I would have liked better is if we would have been able to sit on the rocking chairs that are on the porch and been able to see the lake. But they have a fence erected...

This RV park is great for families. The splash pad, beach area, fishing spots are all in wonderful condition. My reason for not ranking this park the highest is because of its noise level (do to location of major road) and lack of shade. During peak summer months it would be hard for our RV'a AC to keep up without...

We stayed here with a group of friends on July 4th in our travel trailer. Our view of the fireworks over the lake was amazing! What a great way to avoid the crowds and have a blast. The pool was really nice and the swimming area is sandy and shallow. We will be back

We stayed here for about 3 wks, enjoyed very much, the staff and owners are very friendly & accommodating. The facilities are top-notch. Weekend visitors are somtiimes a little lacking in rv'ing etiquette, drive fast, walking thru others sites, parking everywhere, blocking road, kids driving carts. There are several permanent guest, and some are in very old and junky units,...

We stayed here for about 3 wks, park facilities are very nice and well maintained, staff and owners are very friendly & accommodating. Visitors sometimes forget they are in an rv park, loud, drive fast, walk thru sites, park in road, and in front of other sites. Some very old units appear to be permanent. All this on weekends, during...

We were camping in Lake Livingston SP and they didn't have a swimming area and the pool wasn't open, so we came over here for the day. It's 35.00 for 4 people.. they have picnic tables, a beach, splash pad, and a pool.. don't forget a chair. The kids loved it!

We just bought a new travel trailer a couple weeks ago and we took it to this RV Resort on Lake Livingston for a "shakedown cruise". It's only about an hour from our home NE of Houston so it was convenient. We really wanted to go to one of the nearby state parks or another park run by a governmental...

We travel with a fifth wheel, and this campgrounds has realy al the aminities for a great time: beach, swimming pool (only open in sumer), huge concreet spaces, pull thrus, clean bathrooms and a lake to enjoy. The road is near the campground but it don't give much noise. Ask a spot as for from the road.

“I would suggest to campers: don't forget to bring coffee filters and bath soap! :-)”

“Look at the map of the facilities to pick your site class. You will pay more for slots closer to the water. But the playground area is between the parking sites and lake so if you have children travelling with you take that in consideration.”
