Kuebler Waldrip Haus is an amazing experience. It is sort of like visiting your eccentric, wealthy, interesting and kind grandmother. The property has 43 acres, plenty of room to walk. There are cats, friendly but if you are allergic to cats, avoid. There are three buildings. There must be at least seven rooms that at least 20 people could use. Perfect for a family reunion. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Common area is large with TV and DVDs and games. Many books, including a 1936 First Edition of Gone With The Wind. Margy and Darryl were interested in many things, including history. She bought a one room school house and built a house around it, that she rents out. Floor and blackboard are impressive. Ask for a tour. She must be 82 but is an articulate genius, keeping up with current events and local politics. Breakfast is amazing, they bring in their own chef and she will accommodate your needs. I am gluten free and she prepared special bread for me. We can stay with friends or relatives there for free, but may just come back as it is such an experience. Highly recommended! Oh, she sent us away with toffee. Nice touch.

Spent our Anniversary weekend. Stayed in Deer Haven Cottage. Best B&B ever. Margee and Dayrl were terrific hosts. Breakfast was out of this word thanks to cook and her helpers. First time there, but plan on making annual visit.

Ms Margy and Darrel were very attentive and made sure everything was just right. We stayed in the Schoolhouse. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the history of the schoolhouse. We were able to see deer in the mornings while sitting on the porch drinking our coffee. The breakfast is eaten in a warm atmosphere and is delicious. To anyone looking for a B&B in New Braunfels, this is the one! We will be back.

Enjoyed our stay upstairs in the West Room in the historic school house building. We did get to see the downstairs school house room with the chalkboard and beautiful wood floors. Breakfast each morning was wonderful! Family recipe coffee cake that was delicious along with eggs and meat, and fruit. The grounds were nice to walk around and there was a beautiful spot with a view that was fun to sit around and look out. There was water, sodas and wine available along with cookies to snack on. The family was a joy to chat with, learning about the history of the area. Internet was spotty on my phone in the room but to use any other device you had to be in the main house.
