Spent our Anniversary weekend. Stayed in Deer Haven Cottage. Best B&B ever. Margee and Dayrl were terrific hosts. Breakfast was out of this word thanks to cook and her helpers. First time there, but plan on making annual visit.

Ms Margy and Darrel were very attentive and made sure everything was just right. We stayed in the Schoolhouse. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the history of the schoolhouse. We were able to see deer in the mornings while sitting on the porch drinking our coffee. The breakfast is eaten in a warm atmosphere and is delicious. To anyone looking for a B&B in New Braunfels, this is the one! We will be back.

Enjoyed our stay upstairs in the West Room in the historic school house building. We did get to see the downstairs school house room with the chalkboard and beautiful wood floors. Breakfast each morning was wonderful! Family recipe coffee cake that was delicious along with eggs and meat, and fruit. The grounds were nice to walk around and there was a beautiful spot with a view that was fun to sit around and look out. There was water, sodas and wine available along with cookies to snack on. The family was a joy to chat with, learning about the history of the area. Internet was spotty on my phone in the room but to use any other device you had to be in the main house.

My wife and I went back for our anniversary this summer. We called last minute, and Margy and Darrell were able to accommodate us. We stayed in the school house room, which was fantastic! Very unique, and very comfortable. As with last year, the food was great and the owners are wonderful people and very welcoming. highly recommended.
