We were originally slated to stay a month, but it ended up being 2.5 months because of COVID closings. We got REALLY lucky that Hill Country is where we got "stuck". Super nice RV park, large sites and wide streets, super clean deluxe bath singles, and a big old laundry room. The wifi was strong enough for streaming; the cable had a ton of channels; the pool is nice and big; the location is pretty much perfect for tourism stuff and everyday living. The staff was amazing, especially under the circumstances. No doubt people were taking out their COVID frustrations on them, but they were unfailingly pleasant and efficient. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend.

I rarely post bad reviews but when it comes to endangering the safety of my home, I know I must share my recent experience with Sun Resorts. We’ve used this park for 316 nights in the past 3 ½ years (full-time RVers) and although we were aware of a number of complaints concerning Sun Management, we elected to continue staying here as our experiences had yet to be negative. We’ve had minor issues here before, but nothing on the scale of this last visit. The park has had a significant redesign underway for a while. They are setting up two “gates” of which one is next to what appears to be a future “check in” building then a second entrance to its right with a “NO PARKING” sign prominently displayed (so we did not enter and park there to check in). The apparent “check in” lane was narrow but appeared navigable given another RV partially blocked the area of the secondary entrance. Pulling through the “entrance” was a delicate balance between the building on the left and the metal work for an entrance control with support poles coming out of the ground on the right. The poles on the right had previously been hit by another camper and bent one slightly into our entrance path (did not notice)—ultimately damaging our coach as we slowly moved through. One of the employees commented about the poor design and additional work was needed to correct the deficiencies of what they had. We can attest to that! We filed a claim for repair to our RV and Sun has refused to cover the repair of the damage their equipment caused to our RV.

As the title was there for my daughters 13th. She had the same party for her 12th just different cabin. We were in the large space the Colorado. Lots of room well kept. The best part is it’s above the office didn’t feel like they were loud. in the cabin year before I felt like they were too loud. ( never got any complaints though ) Woke up to them sitting on the balcony midnight star gazing. Used the hot tub downstairs. They actually used the outside heated pool more even though it was December. Although they are on the swim team so used to being in outdoor pools in cold. It was heated. Had plenty of room in the colorado and it could fit 12. We had 6. They camped out in one room. Had fun. One room is designed for kids bunk beds and twin . Then another with king and two pull outs in a large living room. Everything next to this cabin. The store entrance pools arcades etc. will probably be back next year that’s what she keeps asking for.

Friends and I wanted to float the river as it was one of our friend's birthday weekend. It was only a couple of weeks until we wanted to go and during the peak time of the season so finding a RV camping spot was a bit difficult at that late hour. However, we found this resort and RV place. We arrived late (after 10pm). There was our information and a map of the campground waiting for us. It was a quiet place as compared to down by the river.

We stayed at your RV Park for five nights visiting San Antonio and loved New Braunfels, Gruene, Johnson City and the LBJ Texas Ranch! The park was very quiet and friendly people to serve you! On our last night there, the maintainence man unlocked the indoor pool (which wasn’t working) so we could use the Hot Tub! Thank you so much because after a hard day at San Antonio sight seeing, it was much appreciated! We will be back in two years when it’s my vacation pick because I loved everything about Texas! Thee only negative thing about Texas is, I’m on my third box of “Kleenex” in a month!!! Happy Trails until we meet again!🌻🌻🌻
