I stayed here one night while in Nacogdoches for business. I loved this hotel. It was only about 30% occupied. Probably due to it being a Tuesday night which was really nice. Felt like I had the place to myself. I stayed in one of the cabana rooms by the pool. Room 134 is only a few steps from the parking lot which makes it super convenient to walk from car to your room. If you are concerned about the rooms being smaller, I found the double queen rooms larger than the singles. The bed is super comfortable with high end linens. My room had a beautiful marble bath and cozy robe. I believe the hotel has filtered water throughout which makes showering nice and no skin irritation. I have mild allergies to fragrances so I will mention the main hotel rooms have a more noticeable fragrance smell. I originally booked a corner double queen in the main hotel but switched rooms because of this reason. The windows don’t open in the rooms but the cabana rooms have doors that open to the outside so you can get a little fresh air if needed. Dinner at the cafe restaurant was excellent and it was lovely dining on the patio. I also ordered breakfast room service the next day and it was very good, as well. I did request a late checkout of 12:30PM but they could only accommodate a Noon checkout which was a little disappointing. This hotel has all of the comforts of a Marriott hotel but maintains the intimacy of a small boutique hotel. It was all around a great experience and I will definitely stay here again when I’m in town for work meetings

Love the decor and mid century vibe this Hotel has. Great restaurants, sitting areas, pools, and Bar. We stayed in the "Terrace" which is disconnected from the hotel but my favorite place to stay. It has its own pool area with turf and fire pit and a giant BIG SCREEN on the back of the other building. We watched the Masters on the big screen and kids got to watch Mona when they swam in the Heated pool.

Staff was so great and friendly, everything you'd expect in a small town where everyone waves to you and everyone knows your name. They anticipated everything I wanted or needed during my stay. The amenities were good, the shower soaps for some reason are some of the best smelling hotel soaps I've ever used. I really want to get the brand and maybe purchase some for myself. The sheets beds and everything is top notch and great quality.

Once again if this hotel was in a bigger city it would be $300-500 a night but we only paid a whopping $150/ night...

Stayed at the Fredonia Hotel for the first time, and it was a great experience! The room was super clean, the beds were comfortable, the room had a nice desk which was perfect for setting up my laptop for work things. There was a nice pool right outside the room- it’s not the main pool by the restaurant and I didn’t know they had another one, which was a nice surprise - that I was able to enjoy, and the landscaping is beautiful.
I do have one small complaint: although the bathroom/shower is gorgeous, the glass “door”for the shower only covers half of shower area, so the other half is open. This means that you need several towels on the floor to absorb water that gets on the floor as you shower. The floor isn’t sloped and I didn’t see a drain on the floor, so the water would just sit there if you don’t put towels down.
But all in all, I was extremely happy with my stay, and I would recommend the hotel to anyone that needs a hotel room in Nacogdoches. It’s a gem! ♥️

Amazing find in East Texas. Food was fantastic. Great service, gorgeous redo of a classic hotel from a bygone era. Two shallow pools with well kept landscaping. Rooms are very reasonably priced with quality soaps, feather pillows, and what you would expect from a boutique experience.

Fantastic little place full of eclectic charm! Think 50/60s Art Deco + modern! Very clean, staff was great, pool was refreshing and updated plus night swimming makes you envision all the stories it has seen, while basking in the pink neon light.. Room was top notch, the bathroom was so fresh & full of all the amenities you could need. We didn’t get to experience the restaurant (heard it was delish) because we booked on a whim after eating dinner @Aunties pasta (Italian) & it did not disappoint.
FYI: The king size bed room is a bit smaller than the double bed, but who wants to stay in their room in a place like this.
•Kid & Pet friendly. 😉

The hotel was lovely. I love that when they updated it they kept the mid century vibe. The cabana rooms, where we stayed, was next to one of the pools, steakhouse, the Cafe, and the bar. We had a lovely time drinking and eating by the pool listening to music. Apparently this was the place to be in Nacogdoches for the locals as it was full the entire night. Most of the stuff we got to eat was delicious, except the steak from the Cafe. It wasn't great.

The only thing I might say is that they seemingly tinted their pool gunite green. While the shallow end with the lounge chairs and tables looked refreshing, the actual "deep end" looked like a bright green swamp. Until I saw a worker brushing it and others swimming, I was leery of getting in.

We had a lovely time and I would recommend this place for a quick weekend getaway.

We stay here when visiting our family. It is the best! Several of us stayed here recently waiting on our newest addition to the family to be delivered at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital by the great Dr. Drake (shout out to you, Dr. Drake!). The Fredonia is great !! I’ve stayed in the Tower Cozy King, in the Corner Tower Cozy King, and in the Family Suite (I think that’s what the suite was called). For just two of us, we usually prefer the Corner Tower Cozy King just because it has a tad bit more room, but either Cozy King is just fine! These rooms are small but so well decorated that you feel pampered. So Nice! And you can never go wrong with the Suite! Loved it!! The couch in the suite wasn’t a sofa couch but we brought little cots for the two kids and it worked out great. So much room!Beautifully decorated. The First City Cafe has a great breakfast and so reasonably priced! The Steak House was so good, pricey, but worth it! The BBQ New Orleans shrimp (yum) is big enough if you want it as a meal. And the crab stuffed flounder and Brussel sprouts - the best!! Everyone was happy with what they ordered! It is only
1/2 mile from Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, near to lots of things. All the staff was great … front desk, restaurant staff, everyone.

My husband was so excited about this cute hotel for our one night stay in June 2022. We were staying in Nacogdoches for only one night because our daughter had a soccer ID camp at SFA the next day. Upon checkin to room 316, we noticed a strange smell coming from the AC. We called for service who arrived quickly. They opened the unit and didn’t see anything wrong. They said the room hadn’t been used in a while so, it could just take a couple of hours to air out. We left the room and came back about 4 hours later. The smell was still there. I went to notify the front desk about my concerns because both my daughter and I are asthmatics and strong smells are triggers.

The nice young man at the front desk went to talk to the manager but came back saying there was not another room they could move us to but they’d send maintenance again.

The smell was still there that night. When we woke up in the morning, my daughter was coughing so much we didn’t think it was a good idea for her to participate in her ID camp.

Pretty ridiculous to pay $345 for a one night stay in a stinky room. It was a cute place, the drinks were good, the staff was nice but…that is no way to treat customers. A waste of $345 + a waste of the gas to drive there and back + a waste of the ID camp fees because management couldn’t accommodate us in a safe room.

Apparently it was Blueberry Festival weekend and hotel rooms were hard to come by.

Immediately upon check-in you feel the warmth from all the employees. From check-in, to the gift shop, to check out. Everyone loves working at the property. We had our puppy with us and each person we encountered bent over and petted her, making her feel special as well.

The rooms are so luxurious: the furniture, huge tv (my favorite thing in a hotel is having the ability to log-in to Netflix and not have to watch stale hotel style tv…. Bravo for the Fredonia for going this route). Stand alone shower, huge towels, and the most amazing bath products.

The bed was super plush and comfortable. The pillows are out of this world. They aren’t down, they are not feather… I couldn’t pin point what they were. I called the hotel and they gave me the distributor information. Unfortunately they do not sell to the public…. Fredonia Hotel, you should sell these on your website, I’m sure you would make a bundle….

If your in Nac for a visit, staying at the Fredonia should be at the top of your list!

Our initial experience was slightly spoiled. We arrived to hotel after long drive from Memphis, very tired.
Hotel looked promising and i guess we set our expectation that we will be able to relax a bit here. However the restaurant was fully booked, the colleagues attending us were very polite but not really interested in trying to make anything happening. The only option was hotels cafe. It was our last night in USA and we were really disappointed, particularly because restaurant did not have an option to make online reservation.
However evening was saved by Ember, our waitress in the cafe. She was so pleasant, genuinely caring without being overpresent. She explained everything on the offer, courteous and friendly. Thank you very much Ember for looking after us!
We had breakfast in the same cafe following day and i must say the service we received was equally nice. Apologies i do not recall another girl name.
With the regards to hotel itself, it was the nicest place we stayed during our week-long visit. Charming, clean, spacious rooms, two pools, one was heated. We could easily spend few more days there if we had time..

Tower rooms are in main tower of the hotel. Terrace rooms are on 1st floor and most rooms are pool view. Most terrace rooms have to be accessed from outside main part of hotel.
