We stayed over Memorial Weekend 2022. While the staff was friendly and had a few events for visitors, the campground was unkept and desperately in need of repair. Grass was knee high - only some spots were mowed. The volleyball court and horse shoe pits were covered in weeds. The pond was full of turtles so there was no hope of fishing. And, we saw a guy steal a bike and carry it over the fence and take off with it. We tried to contact the emergency number only to have it ring and then get a message saying the voicemail box was not set up to leave a message. We’ve been to this park before, and it’s gone downhill significantly. Sadly, we won’t return.

Our stay was wonderful! From the beautifully kept grounds to the well planned and fun activities, our family had a blast! Our cabin was very clean and we loved being right on the pond/lake! It was so nice sitting on the patios and watching all the wild life: ducks, turtles, egrets, heron and even a squirrel! We really enjoyed smore's night and the ice cream social! And the water train ride was a blast! All the staff we encountered were friendly and so helpful! We can't wait to come back!

Upon arrival after 5 PM we found paperwork in after hours box. Drove to our site to find a truck parked in our assigned spot. We called the after hours number and young man answering was very rude. Seemed we were putting him out to come have truck moved. After he arrived he knocked on rv door and spoke to people who’s truck was in out site. He came to our window and said ‘they will move truck in a few minutes’. Then he drove off. Our site was overgrown with tall grass and pet poop. Ugh!

We had booked at another campground which turned out to be horrible. The KOA was able to get us a site on short notice. We where very happy with the site and the extra activities they had planned for the kids. The kids really enjoyed it. Our camp site had a concrete pad, burn pit and a picnic table. It was very well maintained campground. The staff was great and very helpful! Kids love the after dark candy hunt.

A very well run, clean RV park with full hook-ups; good spaces between units; flat poured concrete pads for level parking but grassy green underneath each unit's picnic table and firepit; peaceful and quiet. Lots of amenities including 3 catch-and-release fishing ponds, a fun children's playground, dog park, swimming pool and more. Professional staff. Just an all-around good KOA RV park.

Picked this place as a two night stop over between the beach and Dallas. Pros: Cabin was clean and stocked and grass mowed. Fishing was great, easy check in and trash pick up on curbside is nice. Pet Friendly. Cons: This KOA is in the city and very oddly placed. The pool was advertised as heated but too cold for most, not much to do in the park, no activities during the Spring Break weekend we were there like live music, kids crafts, etc. Pet fee was a little high, Checked in 1.5 hr early and was charged $50, onsite store does not sell bait although they have the catch and release pond, no fire pit at cabins ( you can pay extra to have one delivered, really KOA?) Overall, I would not recommend unless just needing a quick stop.

Okay, so I went to a few apps and checked for different parks to stop at for two nights so my father and teen could fish to finish out our week long trip. We wanted something between our first destination and home away from the major cities. I saw the reviews and the pictures on the KOA app and I was intrigued. I saw they had a body of water they stocked with fish for fishing, great we will stay here then. We got to the location, it's was very typical KOA. The entry was confusing with a very large building in the front, you have to turn in at the light and go straight back to the KOA behind the large building. Better signage would be helpful, especially since your guests are almost always in big motorized vehicles. We get checked in and shown to our site. The lady sprays each hook up and leaves. As we set up we notice they don't weed eat or edge the grass back from the concrete pads. I know this is not a biggie for most, but it is a simple task that not only makes the sites look more groomed, but it helps with bug and water control and keeps rigs from parking on loose grass that is overgrown on the pad. Now, its's COVID time so we knew a few things were closed, but the pool was open. Needless to say "gross" the pool and the restroom at the pool needed cleaning. The pier and gazebo over their pond were not lit up as claimed in the advertisements on both nights we stayed and l was a bit disappointed as I thought that would be a cool little walk with my family over the water before calling it a night. Also, when my father and teen went fishing they both stated the gazebo and pier were crawling with cobwebs and spiders. Really KOA, go out and check your property; anything that is suppose to be accessible should be lit and clear of cobwebs and spiders. Note, this is NOT a park for families with little ones. If you are at this park it is for doing something in the area or for just a lay over to your next destination. This is by no means a resort style park or a park with sail boats as some advertising pictures show or a big fishing hole. They have trash pick up at the sites (which is great!), the park is fairly clean near the sites and bath houses. Yes construction is going on in the park. Each site has a raised curb on both ends so be prepared for that when pulling in. Overall, I would consider this a one and done KOA park. If in the area and needed a place to stay sure it's a KOA, so I would stay as a value card member, but I wouldn't go out of my way to make reservations here.

This KOA is very clean and pretty with all of the amenities you want and need in a RV Park. We stayed here twice in a month and we’re happy we did. It’s also close to stores, restaurants and gas stations.

The vgrounds were just perfect. we had a large pull thru for our 70 foot long rig. Wide area so you have space from your neighbor. Close to antique shops and grocery stores. Everything is concrete. Will be back again.

They are digging a well in the camping. Noise did not stop over night. It was like overnight at a truck stop having truck beside you running entire night. We should have stay at the Wallmart nearby instead. I understand that work have to be done sometimes but overnight...
