The Munzesheimer Manor is a Princess Anne style historic bed and breakfast hotel built in 1898 by a German Jewish Immigrant, Gustav Munzesheimer. It is located in Mineola, Texas, the Piney Woods region known for its natural beauty. The home includes 4 rooms, a formal dining room, spacious living room and a large open foyer. It includes a beautiful staircase which overlooks the foyer and living area as well as 6 original fireplaces between the rooms and common areas. Stepping into the Manor is like stepping back in time with its 12 ft. high ceilings, Victorian décor and beautiful bay windows, giving the setting a nostalgic ambiance. The Manor grounds also include a courtyard and complete wrap around porch providing space and comfort as guests walk freely around the property. A beautiful white Gazebo graces the courtyard and gives the grounds a more elegant and whimsical feel as well as the rock path that guides guests to and from the house and cottages. There are three cottages adjacent to the house, which also overlook the courtyard, all decorated to reflect Mineola’s train history and culture.

I stayed in the Conductor Cottage for a two night solo trip. It was quiet and a great place to retreat. Samantha the grounds keeper was so friendly and welcoming. I also met Ashlee (one of the owners) who was so sweet. Coffee delivered to my room each morning was very pleasant.

Jamie P, Thank you for writing, we are glad you found us! Wills Point is approximately 40 minutes from the Manor using Hwy 80. We only have one room with a walk in shower and it is the Conductor Cottage. It has a king bed. We also have a room in the Victorian house that is King and had a shower, however the stand up shower is inside the clawfoot tub. Hope this answers your questions. Hope to hear from you soon! Hello Rocky! Yes we do have availability that day. We have one room with two queen beds called the Perry room. I think this would fit what you are requesting. If you would like to book it, you can either call 903-569-6634 or book online through our website at munzesheimer com and choose the Perry room. Hope this helps and hope to see you soon!
