It was my wife's birthday so a trip to Mineola (and Stitchin Heaven quilt shop) and an overnight at Munzesheimer Manon Bed and Breakfast. It was very nice - huge, historical mansion - large rooms. Our room had an attached bathroom (which is good for bed and breakfast). Ashlee did a fantastic German breakfast that was delicious. Three minor things...

For anyone considering to elope for their wedding this is the perfect place to do that. Ashlee and her husband take care of all of the details. It is an easy, no stress way to plan your wedding. The B&B was already decorated for Christmas so that made it even more fun and they will take photos of your wedding.

We stayed at the Munzesheimer Manor for only one night and its a pity we had to leave. All of the decor is lovingly appointed there is tons of history and antiques. Don't miss the souvenirs they have for sale. They are in a glass cabinet you might miss if you aren't looking for it. I especially enjoyed a relaxing...

It was an outstanding stay albeit too short. The hosts were wonderful and I had a beautiful breakfast before getting on the road. The buildings are well maintained and very comfortable. I would definitely go back.

Our stay was very good. the breakfast was very good. the room was beautiful, clean and had that home away from home feel. Through no fault of there own, I wish the city had a no horn blowing for the trains during the night, it really interrupted a very peaceful night. other than that we had a wonderful time.

Notaroper, Thank you so much for giving us your feedback! We are happy you enjoyed your stay, but never like to hear that a guests didn't sleep well. Bret and I love the ambiance and romanticism behind the train sounds, however we try to provide various amenities that help with those who are lighter sleepers. We do provide ear plugs,...

We stayed in the beautiful and spacious Perry Room which has two queen beds and a private bath. I fell in love with all the period furnishings throughout the house, the claw foot tub and the old style gowns that were hanging on the wardrobe in our room. I also enjoyed viewing the newspaper clippings and photos from days past....

You can tell the minute you walk in that the owners of this property truly care about your stay. Not only was everything clean and as advertised, but the goodies and food items were great. We had to leave early and missed the main breakfast. But we were provided a very personal touch "to go" breakfast, which was great. Highly...
