This is the perfect place to go if you want to have a quiet time away from the world. It is so beautiful and the surroundings are spectacular! Walking in the near surroundings was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. The hotel is stunning and classic, with and open fire, snooker table, books and games. The hosts... More

Third stay with Neil and Rosemary and enjoyed every minute. Ate two meals in the dining rom and they were exceptional, and the cheese board was over the top. Reasonable prices, and Neil recommended other places to eat close by which was very helpful. Clean and well stocked rooms, and excellent views. The peace and quiet is why we come... More

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the top floor rooms and couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The location is just beautiful and it is matched by the service of the team and the friendly and very helpful owners who gave us tipps which led to the most perfect day we had in Scotland. Our room was lovely... More

Greshornish is located in a quiet, slightly remote part of the Isle of Skye. It is set in attractive, large grounds. If you want a tranquil break, this could be for you. There are some downsides, though. When we checked in, the wife of the couple who run the hotel said her husband sounded like Basil Fawlty. These were prophetic... More

We had two rooms at the Greshormish House. The main room (in photos attached) was called Rum and the second room was Orkney, both named after local islands. Rum is large with one large bed and one single bed, a couch and several chairs and en suite bathroom. It was nice, a bit like staying at a grandparents large home... More

We've been in Scotland almost 2 weeks and have traveled around a lot. But our stay at the Greshornish House has been everything we had hoped for. The location is stunning! The owners could not been more welcoming. The home cooking was wonderfully Scottish and delicious. I would recommend this amazing location and I hope to return someday.

The house is in a quite location with stunning views of the bay and surrounded by great walking areas. Neil was a wonderful host who made sure there was a welcoming fire in the fireplace and that all our requests were addressed. The rooms were all different with a different story for each. My room had been the music room... More

A warm welcome from Neil and Rosemary at their beautiful guest house. An amazing location overlooking the sea ~2 miles down a wee road through dozens of gambolling (sp?) lambs. It seemed to have pretty much all the benefits of a hotel but with a more family / friendlier feel. The breakfasts (and evening meal) were of a very high... More
