Just got back from a week's stay. Hotels in a great location rooms are dated but clean and cleaners in everyday. Plenty beds round the pool and bars quite nice to. 24 hr reception and all very pleasant. What I would say is you get what u pay for this week cost us 400 each all in so we we're pleased.

Me, my girlfriend and her parents were meant to be staying at the Los olivos hotel at the other end of Costa adeje, however loveholidays over booked it so we ended up staying here by default. We were obviously nervous about whether the hotel would be decent enough but we were very happy with our stay. The rooms are a little bit dated so if you're looking for luxury it's perhaps not the place, they were however, very clean and spacious and both rooms on our booking had a lovely sea view. The pool area is great and whilst we stayed here there was always plenty of sunbeds. The pool area is very quiet and if you're thinking of bringing kids I wouldn't bother as there are a lot of silly rules such as no floats or balls in the pool. The reason for this I'm assuming is there a lot of privately owned apartments on the premises so they like to keep it quiet. The pool though was great, perfect temperature and varying depths. The pool bar is great, the drinks prices are very reasonable, the food prices are a little bit steep compared to the local restaurants nearby but the food was always lovely. Louis and the other lady who worked on the bar couldn't be more friendly and accommodating and they definitely made our stay that much more enjoyable. Receptionist's are very helpful and friendly. Hotel location is great, only a 2 minute walk down the bank to la pinta beach and another 5 minutes to fanabe beach. We read some mixed reviews before we came here but I can honestly, hand on heart not recommend this hotel enough if you're on a little bit of a budget but want quality.

We booked our holiday through On The Beach (zero help btw), to stay at the Hovima Atlantis in Costa Adeje, Tenerife. We checked in to the hotel and proceeded to our room. When we entered the room, the smell was horrendous. The smell can only be described as a musty damp smell. We entered the room and straight away noticed that the bedsheets had stains on them. We also noticed that the sofa in the room had stains also and some looked like “dirty” stains. I went to open the fridge and I got some gooey residue on my fingers. The fridge door was disgusting and the microwave also had pieces of old food in it. We immediately returned to reception and told them we weren’t happy with our room the cleanliness of it. Reception then gave us the keys for another room but told us that this was the only other room available. We proceeded to our new room in the hope that this one would be better. As soon as we opened the door the exact same smell hit us instantly. We inspected the room and it was slightly better than the first room but was still manky and had stains all over the bedsheets, stains on the sofa, filthy fridge handle and the inside of the microwave was peeling off everywhere. I went into the bathroom (I didn’t even check bathroom in the 1st room) and the bath was dirty inside and around the edges and there were ants in it. We again went to reception to say we weren’t happy with the room. We even said we don’t mind a room that’s dated we just want a CLEAN ROOM with CLEAN BEDSHEETS. We were told that these were the only 2 rooms available and that there was nothing they could do. I asked for a refund to be told that they couldn’t issue a refund and that it would have to be the bookings dept. I asked where they were to be told that they’re not in atm and they didn’t know when they’d be back. My partner then contacted On the Beach holidays who we booked our holiday through. They told us that they’d contact the hotel reservations dept to request a refund and we would hear back within 2-4hrs. They told us to hang tight and wait. On this initial call we told On the Beach that we wanted a new hotel and we will willing to pay whatever extra was needed. After 6hrs OTB told us that they hadn’t spoken to anyone yet and that we needed to stay the night in the filthy room and that they would contact the hotel in the morning. We said this was unacceptable and that we were checking out and booking elsewhere. After 7days we finally hear from OTB and told that we were not getting a refund. Apparently the hotel HOVIMA ATLANTIS Costa Adeje, said that we didn’t give them enough time to fix the problems and that we wouldn’t get refunded. After being given 2 different rooms to try that were both filthy and disgusting and being told that these were the only 2 rooms available and that nothing else could be done. We’ve now had a refund refused. We waited 6hrs and not once during that time did the hotel offer to have our room cleaned properly or to have the dirty bedsheets replaced. Please everyone be careful and do not book the HOVIMA ATLANTIS Costa Adeje. Photos attached is from the 2nd room. Unfortunately we didn’t take any photos of the 1st room that was even worse.

Highly recommended. Very clean and an excellent location. Most impressive was the reception staff. In particular Luis Asconabieta. I left my phone in the taxi and Luis and team worked tirelessly to help me recover my phone which was returned to me some hours later. Thanks again for your help and continued polite and attentive manner.

We stayed here for 10night we absolutely loved our stay here couldn’t fault it one bit. The staff was superb friendly helpful and attentive they helped us with our transfer which we had a bit of problem with they sorted it out for us quickly and sufficiently. We stayed in room 264 which was a standard studio we had a very large safe which would easily fit in a couple of laptops it was huge the view was amazing very big balcony with a view over Puerto Colon the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels apart from a Sunday. Fantastic value for what we payed couldn’t fault our stay one bit we had a brilliant holiday we would definitely recommend thank you to all the staff at Hovima Atlantis we will be back.

We moved hotel on day 10 as such a hostile hotel! The hotel is mainly owners who as per previous comments have control of the sunbeds and we saw also money being given to lifeguard who made sure they always had sunbeds. I was told when on first day Audi g for sunbeds by owner to go away as all the beds were his, a truly hostile hotel avoid , we paid more money to enjoy the rest of our holiday, the reception staff did not register or care for our complaint. The room we stayed in was basic and the wardrobe space a joke as limited space. We saw lifeguard remove a families towels when they went to lunch even though owners could disappear for hours, this hotel should just stick to owners who dominate and isolate guests...shameful!!

This was a terrible arrangement at the hotel regarding sunbeds being on holiday and not being able to eat together without lifeguard taking our towels..hotel blamed it on Covid but no other hotel operating like this.... after all that the hotel had people with covid who wouldn't stay in their rooms! Scary horrible time this year

Staying at Club Atlantis and took the family including a small child up to the apartment for lunch. We took 1/2 an hour and when we came back the lifeguard had taken all of our belongings off the sun beds and given them to other people. How are you supposed to get lunch without losing your beds?!! We waited 1&1/2hrs in the morning to get these beds! Don’t expect to get a place by the pool as guests are allowed to reserve spots at the crack of dawn even when not supposed to. This is an old people’s home and the other older guests were rude and territorial over the beds. The apartment itself was not worth the money. The tv, table and drawers were all broken. There may as well be no windows because nothing is soundproofed from the bar below that has a loud PA system. You can hear them throwing all of the bottles in the bin at 11/12 at night and the bin wagon coming to empty it every night at 3am. Not good for early/light sleepers. 15yrs I’ve been coming to Tenerife and this is one of the worst places I’ve stayed.

It was our first time at Club Atlantis. 20 minutes from the airport. We loved it so much we are planning to go back. The hotel was spotless and our apartment was first class with all the facilities you could wish for. Tim, the owner of our apartment was always on hand to answer any queries we had e.g. Internet password. The shower was perfect and you had room to move about comfortably. In fact, the whole apartment was comfortable. My husband loved the TV with its many channels. I'm saving the best till last 'the view over the sea', absolutely beautiful. You can sit on the large balcony either sun bathing or watching the sun go down every evening, perfect!
