We stayed here for 14 nights and loved it. Apartment was perfect size with nice kitchenette so we did not have to eat out all the time. 5mins walk to playa las Vistas and 2 mins from big Mercadonna and a good selection of cafés and restaurants right by the hotel. Also we had a late flight back, we were able to make the most of our last day by the pool as there is a luggage room and showers available after checkout. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The only fault we had was straight after checking in when one of the legs off the bed collapsed but that was promptly fixed. Can't wait to come here again :)
My Wife and I stayed there first 2 weeks in Feb' , the staff George, (on our arrival he sung ' supercalifragilisticexpialidocious' ). which I actually practiced for the 14 days before we left. Vanessa, Ivan and Maria were so kind... and don't forget to visit Zicos, turn left and walk 20 yards... GREAT PLACE !
The staff at this hotel make it a great place to stay in Las Americas. We were always greeted with a joke and a smile. Special thanks to Ivan. I'm sorry I didn't get all the names. The hotel is what you would expect from 3 star hotel but the customer service made it 5 star! It is a 10minute walk to the sea which we saw as an advantage to be away from the real mass tourism area. The staff here were happy for us to practice our limited Spanish. When we come back to Tenerife we will stay here again !
Would stay here again great apts, good space for 2,though there is a sofa bed, local to supermarket, restaurants,a lovely wee bakery which we found on our 2nd last day which was fab, although there is a wee bar called Zicos owned by a Scottish couple that do a great breakfast and u are 10 min walk to Safari centre.
Rooms are not the ones posted on the website. They are very old with old furnitures and need renovation immediately! We booked it because we liked the photos on the website but it was totally different! We told the guy at the reception and told us that he cant do anything. Very bad experience, very disappointed of what we saw. We booked this to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary, and if we had known it was going to be like this,we hadn't even considered this option! Here are the real photos
Just back from an 11 night stay here. We had a very pleasant stay. It was basic but everything you need! Staff were very friendly, especially Maria at the pool bar who makes the best mojitos!! Location is good too, loads of shops and restaurants just seconds away from the hotel. Would recommend!
I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone , Moved to Tenerife to travel on my own and decided I was going to stay 3 months here at udalla park ,they made my experience horrifying, the cost of my stay was €869 per month which was suppose to include your room being cleaned also with fresh towels and clean bed sheets , during my 3 months my room was cleaned maybe 5 times max I only got bed sheets once every 2 weeks I had to ask for them also , the majority of the staff are so rude , the man at reception at night time is by far the rudest man I’ve ever spoke to in my life , my room was a double room payed for 2 people so my friend came stay with me one night he wouldn’t let her in shouted in her face and was so so rude ,that was only one of the story’s not to mention I left my key in my room which easily can happen and when I returned home from work I asked could I have the spare key to let myself in and he started to shout and get aggressive with me , and made me sit in reception till 7:30am for shift change as he “didn’t have the spare key”, then to top it off my 3 months was coming to an end and I went to reception lastnight to pay the remainder of my bill which was €150 and they fined €50 for makeup on a towel so in total should of been €200 , when I got to reception they asked me for €869 I tried to explain to him it should be €200 I owe and he continued to be aggressive towards me. I packed my things and tried to leave and he rang the police. I rang 4 taxis in total and he sent every one of them away. Bare in mind I’m a 19 year old girl on my own in a foreign country with all my bags and suitcases out on the street. When the police came they couldn’t understand where he was coming from at all and told me to pay the €200 and I’m okay to leave (which is what I was trying to do in the first place as that’s all I owed). Just would not like this to happen to anyone else , I specifically booked a hotel with security so I would feel safe and instead I was left stranded on the roads at 11:30pm on my own! Security is also a joke in this hotel I have video proof of him shouting into my face for forgetting my key and every night when I come home from work there is always problems trying to get into my apartment which shouldn’t happen. I also told them I would be writing a review and he said and I quote “no I will lose my job and have no money to feed my children” after leaving me out on the streets for the night. So thank you to Vanessa George and marola for making what should’ve been the best summer of my life the most horrifying experience I have ever been through. The man in the small supermarket at the corner rang me a taxi in the end and was more helpful then any staff in udalla park since the minute I checked in. Will never ever return to this hotel wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!…
what more do you need from a quick week away. The hotel is friendly, in a great central location, REALLY clean, we had our room cleaned nearly every day. While we was there we had the worst sand storm on record, the following day the cleaners set to and worked wonders. the rooms are a good size for two, nice balcony and kitchen area. Last year we stayed on the back, very quiet, this year on the front and it got a bit noisy with it being on a main road, but it didnt spoil our stay. The pool is cool and fresh but welcoming. the location is a stroll from everywhere which we really like. Dont book with teletext though, nightmare, easier to email direct and just get your flights. if your mobile, ask for a topfloor room with the sun terrace
stayed in Hotel Udalla Park for one week for my Anniversary with 2 other couples, we stayed in room 113 from 25th of January 2020 till 1st February 2020. On arrival we didnt find the reception staff very friendly, we where given our key and we all went to our rooms, the first thing that hit us was the door didnt open more than 12 inches, we had to go into the bathroom and close the hall door to gain entry to our room. The door closed was stiff and wouldnt open properly. (See photo) The next thing was the smell, it was a dirty smell that was there all week dispite up going down and telling the same lady who was there all week and who checked us into your Hotel. There was also a strong smell of cigarettes in the room and as we dont smoke we found this disgusting. There was a no smoking sign above the bed side locker and a cigarette burn on the locker. (See photo) The toilet seat was loose and the toilet bowl was also loose and dirty. There was a brown rust stain on the toilet seat hinge. (See photo) There was no hot water for 2 days as the water heater was turned off , and we where not told to turn it on. The toilet door lock fell off when we closed the door. (See photo) The patio door lock didnt work and the doors could be easily opened from the balcony, the bins area was right outside our balcony and at approximately 1.20 am the noise woke up all of our party as we slept in 3 rooms facing the main road. The brown blanket supplied to keep us warm at night had cigarette burn holes in them. (See photo) The sheets where below standard with dirty black Mark's and holes in the bed sheets. (See photo) The over sink press wouldnt open due to roller door guide track, (see video). Half the lights in the room didnt work, (see photo). I informed the lady in reception and she had the maintenance man make 3 repairs out of about 8. Our friends in room 118 paid €20 for the tv remote control, and left it in the room when he checked out, he later went back to tell the new lady in reception and was told the remote had been handed in and the €20 had been paid, But to who... ? He never got it. The cleaner must have handed it in. My friends where at the loss of €20 as a result. He was not very happy. There was dampness stains in the bathroom on the ceiling, ( set photos) This is totally unacceptable for a Hotel to charge us €616.00 for this room, witch falls way below standard for any Hotel. I would like an urgent response to the issues I have raised and a full refund or I'll have no choice but to show all photos and videos on all sites including Trip Advisor and Hotel reviews. I look forward to hearing a response from you real soon, Derek Raythorne More photos to follow in next email…
We stayed here for 10 days during the summer and it was perfect for us. We had everything we needed; large bed area, full kitchen, balcony, rooftop terrace (perfect for sunbathing if don't want to go to pool). The staff were very helpful with any questions we had. The WiFi was free for entire stay and was strong throughout the entire complex. It is about a 10 minute walk to shops/restaurants/beach which is perfect if you want some quiet. The only flaws we had was the noise pollution from the street very early in the mornings so the balcony door had to be closed to minimise. And the room had no air con which made it very uncomfortable some nights.
