I managed to get through to TUI and explained the full situation with phone on speaker, again the Manager said nothing they could do as they were fully booked... It was only when I stated that we would not take the room and I would sleep in reception if I had to that a bungalow magically appeared!...

Arrived and was offered an upgrade to Emblem, advise at reception this included room with hot tub, garden, exclusive restaurant, bar, spa and other amenities in the room... After choosing to upgrade and pay 500euro, the room was lovely and clean... I sent an email to the manager, Rebecca but got no reply... The leaflet reception gave us showed snacks until 5pm, however after checking in we went to get some snacks, around 3pm, and were swiftly turned away and told no food until 6.30pm for dinner... We didn't receive our welcome drinks, mini bar or tea/coffee... I had to again send another email & call asking for these... The tech arrived 10 mins later and we just managed to make our transfer...

There is a free bus but I do advise a taxi there and the free bus back... Get there early 9.30 before the buses arrive to avoid queues...

I let her finish the call and then told her in Spanish I understood everything she just said and her face dropped, she stood with head down for the rest of the interaction... After that we were shown to bungalow 83, which now was exactly as the pictures of our original booking... The manager Jorge was very apologetic and even came to check on us a day later to make sure we were happy... Huge thanks to Jorge though for trying to make up for it for the rest of our stay and to Tui, who have been fantastic and given us compensation after the resort rep filed a complaint on my behalf just for the way I was spoken to when she was on speaker!...

The hotel is a quiet oasis in the middle of Playa de las Americas surrounded by highrise. Its an older hotel but very clean and maintained... Easy access to the beach and shopping... Mini kitchen in bungalows allows you to to cater for children outside of restaurant hours if you are only 1/2 board... Loads of choice , themed menu on some evenings and plentiful... Excellent childrens entertainers and our grandchildren aged 4 1/2 yrs and 19 months absolutely adored going to the kids disco in the evening...

Air Conditioning and hot water can be temperamental at times... Overall, we had a lovely time, but like a-lot of hotels, post lockdown, you can feel the standard has dropped... The location and accommodation rate this as good/very good for me, but not anything more... I would also say that it feels very safe for kids... The complex is completely enclosed which I found quite reassuring for my 5 and 6 year olds... If you have booked to go here, I am sure you will have a lovely time... Tip - The toaster and kettle can be found in the cabinet under the TV (we annoyingly found this out on the last day)...

...A wonderful experience for a family with kids ranging from 1 year old to 16 year old. Enjoyed a two bedroom Villa with a nice garden... Very comfortable experience and great staff ranging from Rebecca in the reception to Head Chef Kongi (excuse any misspelling)... The kids loved the Discos in the evening and the children playground and football field much appreciated along with the pools... The beds and cleaning was very well taken care off...

We had a small yard in front of our bungalow where it was nice to sit during evenings... Our kids liked a lot the pool areas and our older kids also participated Mini club couple of days... We also participated some other activities too, like darts and aqua gym... There was nice variety of different foods, so there was something for everyone's taste... All and all we had a very nice holiday and would come back in the future!...

...Staff made this holiday special for my wife and I! They couldn’t help enough with recommending us the best places to visit... During the day the hotel has entertainment and the guys from the team were so friendly and really made everyone feel included!... I would definitely come back to tenerife and this hotel!...

...Super bungalow and the central location that was very deceiving, as you open up from the main street into a very tranquil enclosure away from the hustle and bustle of Las Americas day and night life. The staff were very friendly and always on hand to help... We stayed at the Emblem level and therefore had many extras, like a choice of wine at the dinner table and bookable sun loungers by the adult pool, beach towels and beach mats with a fully replenished fridge daily... The cocktails were superb and the local beer was Amstel, so not bad... There was a huge choice of well-presented food in the restaurant and cleanliness was great...

Really engaging and friendly staff, lush hotel with chill vibes in a great location. Lots of stuff to do in the day eg aqua aerobics, bingo in evenings and live music every night... Fabio in particular made us feel really welcome...

...The hotel itself is a lovely complex, we were all inclusive and the both the choice and quality of food was great in the restaurant... Location of the hotel is great, there is a taxi rank right outside so easy to transfer from the airport and although in the heart of Las Americas it is still quiet in the main complex...
