I have read some of the reviews and while breakfast becomes tiresome as it does in all hotels the food served in the evening is sublime with the chefs proud of their presentation. The fish the team cook is second to none and respect to the chefs!
This is a nice hotel, definitely worthy of the 4 star rating. However our room was broken into and the security team wouldn't let us ring the police saying they would deal with the problem. We moved rooms and in the morning we were told we would have to pay €300 to fix the hotel room door or we would be forced to leave the hotel. So we paid as we didn't want the hastle, now I'm trying to contact the hotel for insurance and they are refusing to respond to emails and acknowledge this happened. Very poor from management.
Here now as a family of 4, I really couldn’t ask for much more in terms of cleanliness and the functions of a hotel however I do not recommend all inclusive. The food is cheap and tasteless, there isn’t a great selection and it’s pretty much the same every day - I know it’s all inclusive and it’s never “amazing” wherever you go, but this genuinely has to be the poorest I’ve seen/eaten. Especially difficult if you have children. The soft drinks are also very watered down to the point their almost tasteless, this isn’t the case at dinner lunch & breakfast as they’re served in bottles rather than draft. The hotel is clean, the majority of the staff are friendly and everyone is making the best of a bad situation I suppose. Would I stay here again? Probably not - It was cheap so I feel it’s harsh to criticise for the money I paid but I genuinely think if I had paid any more I’d of felt it was over priced. Small things like an actual kids park would be good too. Not horrendous , not fantastic so worth a punt if you get a deal - absolutely no way would i recommend all inclusive to anyone as the food is just rubbish.…
Recently stayed here for an all inclusive week. Hotel was fine & staff were fine. Very good position in resort just up from Veronicas across from Linekars. Sunbeds were cleaned every morning & every 2 beds were together within a taped zone to keep socially distanced. Daytime entertainment was ok but due to covid not as much as you’d expect & they weren’t hassling people to take part (obviously to keep numbers down). Night time entertainment was the normal hotel stuff - dancers magician etc etc. Now for the not so good bit. Rooms were spotless but half of them are at the back of the hotel with no sun. Queues at the bars (both pool bar & evening bar) were very long due to not enough staff manning them. The food at the pool bar was a hit & a miss. My food was always hot & cooked but there were a lot complaining about it being warm at best & undercooked. The staff in the restaurant were fine. Every other table was marked red so that everyone is socially distanced. Table service for drinks at lunch & evening. Go for breakfast at busier times & the food will be fresh. At lunch go earlier as this is when its at its freshest. We went at different times at dinner and it was always fresh. However there isnt much choice and all very samey but we always got something Hotel is definitely a 3 star at best but we still did enjoy our stay. Very little open in resort so dont expect it to be party central!…
Stayed here last week with my husband only good thing honestly was the weather .. we were on a half board thank goodness we never took the AI deal !! Breakfast time was a mixture of last night's dinner by the looks of it .. sausages were hot dogs .. scrambled eggs were cold .. churros were brick hard .. fried eggs looked as though they had been lying there for hours !! Every morning I asked for fresh hot toast which they weren't happy about 😅 would they eat the rubbish food .. I don't think so 🤨 You could only get the mini fridge if you paid 25€ for the drinks inside !! Dinner was just as bad not fresh at all .. all foods with no description at all disgusting .. ate out most nights ! Hotel gala you would have thought u would have upped your game and gave holidaymakers a better experience .. and by looking at other reviews I think others we dissatisfied as well.. Tenerife we will be back just not to the HOTEL GALA 😏😏…
