Very unfriendly staff, especially on reception. No idea what the times were for anything or where anything was, nobody told us and no one to ask. Not enough staff. If you need to sort anything at all (which you will), expect a long frustrating queue. Rooms are dated, bathrooms better but flood when showering. It was very clean though. Meals very stressful, ended up going out most of the time despite pre paying In general very disappointing as it is not cheap. The pianist in the bar was fabulous though

Just arrived back from this hotel and had a lovely stay. The hotel is modern and very clean! The receptionists are very helpful and speak very good English. They helped me multiple times 😊. On our last day our flight wasn’t until 9pm so I wanted late checkout, unfortunately this is not guaranteed and Friday was one of their busiest days so wasn’t granted, however they gave us a key for the shower room free of charge and a time slot before we left so we could get ready for our transfer I thought this was marvellous. Sunbeds people get up at stupid o’clock to reserve them and then don’t even use them all day it really annoyed me! There are a few spare sunbeds up the top out of the way so I just sat up there in the peace and quiet. Food was ok , not my cup of tea most nights so I had the fresh fish with salad most nights, but my boyfriend liked it so it’s definitely personal taste you can’t please everyone! Saying that I’m coeliac so require gluten free food so each night I had to find one of the managers which were extremely helpful and walked me round each night and showed me what I could eat. This was never to much trouble for them and always brought me a fruit salad for dessert. One night they got the chefs to do me a gluten free pizza they also offered pasta to. There is no list of ingredients for each item of food which I find would be much more helpful and i wouldn’t have to hassle the management. Just want to say thank you to the staff for such a pleasant stay I would recommend this hotel and come back in the future…

Arrived 22nd March after a slow check in, we were told where our room was on 5th floor. After problems with the card key managed to open the door to one very small room to what we thought we would get. We booked a twin privilege room if this is privilege room what is a normal room like! Very poor explanation to what is available in the hotel, tried to book a restaurant on the in house system that does not work. So far extremely disappointed with the service, sink plug does not hold water, water leakes onto floor of bathroom when taking a shower. Maybe it will improve not holding my breath, to be continued.

In middle of 40 day break . We . Booked direct on my mobile and took half board option as I’m recuperating from a hip replacement. Staff are amazing and all very helpful. Thomas at breakfast was so kind and helped Anne who has a gluten intolerance. The hotel deserves a better rating on here.

Hotel situation and sea view room were excellent. We had ‘privilege’ and Peter and Levant were very attentive and helpful. Food in all restaurants and all staff were very good, especially Rosaria, thank you all. Animation team Alex and Ravi made all activities fun and they should be comedians! Evening shows were so good too. We will return! Tony and Penny from Jersey.

Reception – staff were quite busy with a fairly constant flow of guests queuing to check-in & out + general queries being dealt with. I think they could do with more staff at peak times. There are 4 lifts which worked 100% during our 10 day stay. Room – Bathroom was recently updated and the shower was great. The room was good with some signs of wear and tear but not overly so. We paid for a sea view and stayed in room 723 and the view was exceptional. The balcony was on the smaller side but we were happy enough with it. We didn’t have or need a kettle. Air conditioning was good and there was an under-desk type fridge. The room was very clean and we observed cleaners constantly buzzing about the place doing their work. Beds were very comfortable. Why haven’t hotels updated sockets with the customary USB facilities?? Noise – There’s some local pubs playing live music which can go on until mid-night but not a major issue to us. Restaurant – Food was plentiful and quite varied. As previously commented some food can be a bit tepid rather than piping hot. It can be very busy and a wee bit manic during peak times and a queue can form on entrance. Management have created a traffic-light system alerting guests of peak and quieter time slots (see photos). Bars – We found the various bars very good and prices were pretty much what you’d expect in being more expensive than local pubs, but IMO not overly so. Poolside – I’d read comments about a shortage of sunbeds. We never seen a shortage (see our photos) and there were piles of sunbeds to supplement any such shortages. Towels are supplied with a deposit of 15Euros, but if you want to change it for a fresh one they’ll charge you 1.50Euros which I thought a bit off and the first I’ve came across such a charge!! Safe – A charge is levied plus a deposit for the fob required to make it function Courtesy room – Upon request to reception, a 1/2hr slot can be allocated if you have a late flight and need to freshen up which was extremely welcome All in all a very good hotel and we’d stay there again. It’s a large hotel so no-one booking should expect a quiet experience. It’s a busy hotel.…

The Hotel is Clean and the Bedrooms lovely as are the Pool Area and the Food. But the hotel lets itself down with Reception understaffed with long waits for attention and with a mixture of some staff very helpful while others less so. Also the evening entertainment is hopeless. There is not enough room in the theatre and also large pillars making viewing if you can find a seat impossible! Other the two complaints above (and the hotel was very busy during our stay) the Hotel is very nice but needs improvement in the areas above. We are members of H10 and usually love the standard they set but in future we will choose alternatives on the Island

We paid a lot of money to stay at this hotel and the view from our very very small balcony was to say the least poor. (Just enough room for the two of us ) Lovely solar panels and air conditioning units were not the view we expected for the price we paid. Bathroom was good with great shower, Food was good but drinks were overpriced compared to bars and restaurants around the area. We must of been unlucky as other rooms we have seen looked lovley. Some of staff were friendly but not all of them !!! The reception was not very speedy on check in and check out. There was always a long queue when we went pass most days. I don't think we will be returning as other hotels are cheaper and offer a lot more.

This must be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. From very long delay at check in where only one receptionist was on duty, to room allocation, to the attitude of staff which was nothing short of rude, dismissive and off hand. There was no information provided at check in about facilities at the hotel, meal times, pool times, safe, room direction, etc. "Our" room was not available so we were told to come back later. When we eventually got our keys to room 275 and entered the room the smell was so bad it can only be described as vile. We immediately returned to reception and were told they would get the cleaner to check the room. The cleaner apparently sprayed the room with deodorant. Smell remained and we requested to meet a manager. He did accompany us to the room and agreed about the smell and informed us he had no alternative and would allocate us a room the following day. We reluctantly agreed and did not unpack our cases. I would state that room 275 is no bigger than a standard room and is more claustrophobic. Wardrobe is only 12 inches from the foot of the bed and you may have to slide sideways between the two, only enough room for one bedside locker. The first day of our holiday was now ruined. The following day we were contacted to say a room was available and we agreed staff could move our belongings as we had not unpacked. The room we were given 353 was a junior suite which we should have been given at check in originally as this is what we had paid extra for at booking. Would not do this again. Pool lifeguard had no English whatsoever. General: air conditioning not work, hand basins too high for use, handbasin not hold water, shower drain blocked, beds in our room not double or single but two separate parts of a double. Too narrow and uncomfortable. No kettle in room as advertised. Food only poor to acceptable and at best lukewarm. Not 4 star. …

I have just returned from my second visit to this Hotel. Looking forward to going back very soon. Everything about this hotel, from reception staff, bar staff, not forgetting the lovely ladies that take care of cleaning our rooms. I would like to mention the restaurant, as i am a celiac and have to have Gluten Free Food. I always have great difficulty finding food in some hotels. This certainly doesn’t apply to H10las pal eras. I was introduced to a very charming helpful man by the name of Galindo, he and another extremely helpful gentleman who’s name escapes me at the moment. I couldn’t have been looked after if i was royalty.They took me round at breakfast and evening meal to show me things i was and was not allowed to eat, the choice was amazing. Great food and the most delicious cakes. I would like to thank everyone involved in the amazing running of this hotel, and the wonderful, helpful and friendliness of all the staff.
