This is a really great hotel, being half way up the hill the views over Costa Adeje / Las Americas are brilliant - as well as the the views up to the surrounding mountains. On the downside, the hill is STEEP so this isn't really suitable for anyone with mobility issues (unless they have a scooter or other transport). The pool is Great and the food all-round is really fantastic. The drinks were also all quality which you don't always get as part of all inclusive. If you like a sunny balcony; these seemed rare but that may just be due to the time of year (December) I visited.

As title says, I've been here lots of times - the first time 25 years ago with a group of friends and their children. My husband and I have been here over the years and last month, I spent a month here, on my own. I had a great time - it's brilliant value for money. My husband and I pay about £250 for a 5 day stay, self catering. Cheaper than staying in the UK ! We've been all over tenerife ; los gigantes, Costa del silencio, golf del sur. We like playa de las americas as it's lively. We're going back in February 2023. We enjoy the hill walking - keeps us fit and burns some calories ! But, don't go if you have mobility problems. It's too much, I think. We always do self catering - el mercadona supermarket in San eugenio is great for everything you need. You could get a taxi back ( probably about 3 euros), if you buy too much to carry. I've never experienced any anti social behaviour but that is probably due to the fact that I'm in bed early reading, ready to be up and out, so that doesn't appeal to me. I do understand that's why people go away, just not me. Staff lovely, rooms clean.

DO NOT COME HERE! HOTEL FROM HELL! WASTE OF MONEY AND NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY! I would give this hotel 0 starts but it doesn’t give you that option. The reception staff are rude, the hotel is on a massive hill with nothing in walking distance, they put me in a room with stairs leading to the room when I have a pram and refused to change it, kettle and bathroom was not usable, rooms have no air con. Food was appalling, in the day time I had to wait in line for 10 mins to get served 1 drink and during the night I couldn’t even get to the bar as it was swarmed with drunks with only 1 person serving, the self serve drinks machine were not working aswell as every vending machine in the hotel out of use. There is no entertainment except blasting music like a nightclub. This is CERTAINLY NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY!!!! Then just to top it all off we got stuck in the sweltering shower room with our 5 month old baby for 15 mins due to a broken door handle and had to shout out of the window to a passer by to help us get out as the hotel wasn’t answering the phone. I eventually got a refund through onthebeach.com unfortunately after having to stay in the hotel from hell for 2 days. Definitely glad I didn’t stay for 2 weeks, I ended up staying in hotel palia don pedro which was brilliant especially compared to this awful hotel!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in...please avoid at all costs. The good points are it has an excellent swimming pool and that's it. Cockroaches everywhere Cannot comment on the food as we were room only.rooms are very dated and need a lot of work doing to them. No supermarket on site so you have to walk down the hill to the shops and bars very steep hill to walk back up so we got a taxi and they are very cheap only about 4 euro. Would never stay here again.

Run down and in desperate need of a refurb, cockroaches in the rooms, walls paper thin can hear neighbours arguing all night, banging doors. Pool ok but lots of broken tiles around pool. All pool tables and games stuff out of order we thought about paying for another hotel after first night but literally just used the room as a base and just spent as much time as possible out of it

My husband and I stayed for a week . The hotel is very dated . There were no facilities for children . Pool tables gaming machines were all out of service . Drinks machines were out of service and the shop on site was closed down . The drinks round the pool were served in paper cups . The pina colada was 7 euros and absolutely disgusting. There were cockroaches in our room for the last 2 nights and they were everywhere outside at night . I would not advise staying at this hotel if you have poor mobility. The hill is steep and there was 70 steps from our room to the pool . I Know it’s only 2 star and you get what you pay for but I seriously think this hotel needs closing down or used for residents only . I am surprised jet2 being a reputable travel agents are selling this holiday . We only used it as a base but I would never return to this hotel I would definitely pay a bit extra .

Stayed for 7 nights B&B. The hotel is dated but clean. There were cockroaches everywhere. The hotel fumigated public areas the day before we left but still found live ones in the rooms. The room was only used as somewhere to sleep. We did eat an evening meal at the hotel it was £12. Although the trip was just my husband and I, we do have children and wouldn't recommend for them on evenings. No kids food selection offered so if you have picky eaters it wouldn't be great. The hills were a problem for my husbands parents but taxis were always available mostly under €4, however, if paying with note's the drivers round up to €5. The hotel does offer a free bus, we didn't use this service. If you want a cheap holiday with no trimmings this could be a great hotel.

Seen a lot of bad reviews before i went here with my partner and my son and it had me worried. But after arriving here on the 27th in the evening, its was perfectly fine. The room was clean, nice bathroom. Big balcony area. We went for 5 nights all inclusive but only ever had the breakfast and pool snacks which were very nice drinks also fine. Went out for meals so never tried the evening meals but can imagine them to be fine as well. The Pool is huge. And plenty of sun beds. The hotel itself is located further up from the beach up some hills, but if ok with walking it is only about a 15 min walk. They do have free busses down to beach and back up but was not sure on the times so we mainly walked or just jumped in a taxi few times as was nice to walk down but with my son who was 8 who hates to walk especially after a long day in the sun, it was easy at times to just get a taxi back up to the hotel which was about €4 All in all for what you pay. The hotel is fine and not as bad as some people make out.

We were made to wait over 2 hours to check in as our room wasn’t ready. Old staff member on the reception had a really poor attitude and didn’t care we had a 19month year old and heavily pregnant wife. The overall cleanliness of the site was satisfactory but the concrete render was falling off most sections of the walls and the pool apron, walls and floor. A lick of paint was not going to save it! We awoke one morning to find dead cockroaches on the floor to the kitchen and the following morning to no running water. This was due to a burst pipe apparently and was resolved by the evening. Our room was cleaned in the afternoon to clear the cockroaches. Our cleaner was the only pleasant member of staff we encountered. Over the course of our week stay there were tiles being replaced around the pool, where cold lay tarmac and fractured tiles were being broken out by hand. The shards of tiles being sprayed everywhere and the operative was wearing no health and safety equipment. It was neither pleasant due to the noise and the fear our toddler would step on the debris. The food was basic/poor and the staff not that friendly. Never in a million years would I stay at this venue again, the hill you have to climb to get to it alone would be worth exploring other options closer to the beach.
