I am still here now, it’s been a great holiday so far and I feel the hotel is what it says on the tin and can’t complain about the food or service for the money. The only reason I’ll rate this hotel a 3 from a 5 is because of the absolute idiots that are the lifeguards. They pick and choose who they like, move your towels and stuff (lose it) and then complain when you find other sunbeds and try and move them over to how you wish to sit with your family. I have a young baby and had wanted to try and get four beds together for our friends and us and an umbrella for the baby. I went out and gathered a space and the lifeguards moved my stuff saying I couldn’t bed save (even though many other people do this sometimes for the whole day and don’t return). I was gone for twenty minutes and have never ever complained about people leaving their towels for hours and not returning. As I say my stuff was lost. I complained to the front desk and they did nothing about it. Another day I tried to create a space and they came over and said I couldn’t move beds or umbrellas. As a first time Mum wanting to catch some rays in the moments my son was sleeping I think they were unnecessarily awkward and it ruined it for me. If I can’t chill out on a sunbed and get a tan and read my book I’d rather stay somewhere else.

Hotel's Favorite
I extended my stay in Tenerife and the hotel I was in had no rooms so I booked the SOL last minute for 3 nights. I can honestly say the cleanliness and attention to detail of small things was amazing. The pool is clean and plenty of sunbeds. The reception staff greeted us and were really helpful if ever in need. I had self catering so I cannot comment on the food. The cleaners were fab and the room was always clean and tidy. And finally the atmosphere from the night life was amazing!! A different act each night, the kids team were great with my daughter and they have a kids club on 11.30 and 8.30 each day. I would defenaitley stay here again for longer in future.

Had a fabulous stay. Hotel very clean, food was fabulous, so much choice. Wonderful selection for AI drinks, even had diet drinks which is rare(I'm a diabetic and usually have to buy sugar free drinks at a supermarket) Onky negative was the entertainment wasn't always great. Staff all wear masks and insistent that clients wear theirs too. Staff also helped when I struggled with uploading medical form and passenger locator form. If people left their towels on the sunbeds and disappeared then towels would be removed which I thunk is excellent. I would definitely stay again

Myself and my boyfriend spent 10 nights in Sol Tenerife and as it was our first time generally on the island, we weren't too familiar with the area. We are a young 27/28 year old couple and would enjoy a few drinks at a bar and a bit of nightlife but not constantly for the full 10 days, which meant the hotel location wasn't right for us at all. There were a lot of pros and cons to this holiday which was out of the hotel's control but I wouldn't want a couple similar to us to make the same mistake we did. Pros: Hotel is really clean and the cleaning service is extremely efficient, so if you sleep in a little and miss them just leave the note on your door and it will be cleaned later in the day All inclusive drinks is really handy and it's unlimited throughout your stay (if you pay for this part of course) Hotel is walking distance to bars and restaurants so you can avoid taxis for the holiday Well recognised food places in the area too if you're looking for a casual meal, like McDonalds, KFC, Subway Staff is extremely lovely and so nice to deal with Entertainment by the pool during the day and at night is great! Cons: The hotel is directly on the strip of nightclubs, so it's pretty much like being on a 6th year holiday in Magaluf with loads of 18 year olds The music plays extremely loud till 4am (the clubs have paid off police to stay open later now despite covid restrictions), so if your room is facing the strip then you will be kept up till 4/5am most nights. We only went out maybe 2 or 3 nights so all the other nights we were there we got literally no sleep. The all inclusive food is a buffet for all meals so if you are picky then you might not like this, we ate out for dinner every night instead Every time you leave the hotel you will be approached by men offering you a lot of illegal substances, it's not a nice feeling when you're just going for a walk to find food or go to the shop so it is not a nice area for kids. I would not recommend anyone walking alone at night time but the security in the hotel are really good and do make you feel safe I would NOT recommend for anyone who is looking for a quiet relaxed holiday or going with young kids, it is not a place for them at all The plug situation in the rooms is really poor, I would bring an extension lead because you can only use maybe two at once and there are none by the bed A lot of my cons are completely out of the hotel's control so it is through no fault of them. But I just want to highlight this to anyone who maybe makes the same mistake as myself and my boyfriend, as it is not the nicest area to stay in for a chilled holiday. I would highly recommend this hotel for groups of friends looking for fun at bars and clubs or young couples under 25 who really enjoy the nightlife every night. I would also recommend staying in Los Cristianos if you are more like us and want maybe a night or two out for drinks and then most of your holiday to be chilled. The taxi from Las Americas to Los Cristianos is only 5euro so if you want to experience the strip for one night it won't break the bank. We got the impression before coming here that Los Cristianos was more for really old couples and families but we went there once for dinner and it was gorgeous, so quiet and lovely little bars and restaurants. Again, the hotel is lovely but their biggest downfall is being so close to the strip which is something they can't change unfortunately. Hope this helps anyone looking to book :)

I visited this hotel for a week with my partner (young couple) and all I can say is I am very disappointed. The only positive about this hotel is the location as it backs right onto the front and a close walk to the beach. As a young couple it’s close to Veronicas Strip which we enjoyed one night, however drinks were heavily watered down and bar staff weren’t very welcoming. With being close to the strip it is very noisy until 3/4am which could be bother to some people. We had an early morning flight into Tenerife so had no sleep the night before, it took over an hour to check in. When we arrived at our room it was very small, no air conditioning and dated. Our sheets got changed once out of 7 days, even when there were visible marks on the sheet. I even took the bedding off myself for the maid to change but she put the same bedding back on the bed. Our sun lounger/beach towels didn’t get changed once throughout our stay however we were provided with fresh bath towels daily. There was only 2 plug sockets in the room one of which the television was plugged into! The room had no bin for rubbish only a small bin in the bathroom we had to use carrier bags everyday. We paid for all inclusive however food was shocking the same everyday with no variation. All inclusive alcoholic drinks included basic spirits and roughly 5 cocktails prepaid in jugs. All other nice fancy cocktails were about €9/€10! Our key cards to the room kept disconnecting and not working we had to replace them at reception about 3/4 times AFTER getting up to the 8th floor to find out they didn’t work. There was a singer on at night however no further entertainment than that, no entertainment team only yoga/pool gym in the daytime. We had a late flight home and check out is 12pm late check out is 40-60€ extra which we didn’t decide to pay. When sat in the lobby waiting for our transfer the security guard told us we weren’t allowed to eat or drink anything and had to sit next to the pool to do this even though we had to technically wait from 12-5 with nowhere to go. Whilst waiting in the lobby the only toilets available needed a key card to be accessed so needed to ask the reception staff every time you needed the toilet after check out. There were also cockroaches in these toilets at night. Me and my partner spent more time out of the hotel and ate out more than using the all inclusive as we wanted to actually enjoy our holiday. I will not return to this hotel and possibly will not return to Tenerife.
