This is an honest review but I have stayed in better hotels for less money. The rooms are outdated & as a ‘young couple’ we prefer bigger and more modern rooms. Beds are comfortable enough though I’ve slept in better. Air con seemed non existent which was okay for the time of year we stayed but dread to think how people cope peak summer. We had a beautiful view from our small balcony and we were able to stream Netflix on the tv via our iPad. The pool area(s) are too small for the amount of guests. Not a sun bed spare by the afternoon with 100s towels reserving beds they have no intention of using. No self serve drinks around the pool unless you go inside to the all inc food hall. Probably the weakest cocktails we’ve ever tasted and are not made fresh. The pools themselves could probably do with being refurbed, I’ve not seen any animation team in or around the pool during our stay, not that we get involved but still for families with kids i would expect better. Food for all inclusive is plentiful and never had a problem finding a table at meal times though breakfast was more busy. Pool snacks consisted of cheese and ham toastie, cold chips and nuggets and burgers which I never saw being replaced! As an honest humble person, I don’t usually criticise or complain but this hotel is definitely in need of an overhaul. The reception and lobby are pretty basic, no many places to sit and have a drink apart from around the pool which is where the evening entertainment also takes place. If you’re looking for a budget hotel on the strip or close to in las Américas then this will serve the purpose. We have paid less money for better hotels and probably wouldn’t return. …
Had an amazing stay at the Sol Tenerife Hotel. Check in was easy as pie, the receptionists were extremely warm and welcoming and even upgraded my room as I mentioned I worked in a hotel - they gave me a sea view room on the 4th floor. Amenities in the room were great, a fridge was provided with a TV. Would be better if water did come in large bottles instead of small cans. I went all inclusive with breakfast, lunch and dinner included. All food was delicious with a wide variety of selection for all tastes. In regards to the bar area, It would be great if there was an indoor bar as well as an outside bar. Nonetheless, a brilliant stay and I hope one day to return.
fantastic hotel, great staff, very clean, beds very comfy, get a sea view room for great view. be warned if you are a light sleeper the music from the strip next door starts at 10pm and finishes at 0600am. lots of stags and hens, but good security at the hotel so no trouble. the food choice was excellent. After reading other reviews I was rather dreading this holiday, but in all honesty this is a great hotel and I would come back.
Worst animation program ever its only stretching and yoga no sports program for people that are looking for a fun time dont go here even the lifeguard screams at you if you through a ball to eachother. For people that come for animation dont go here from all the hotels I have been too its the worst animation ever
Pleasant enough hotel during the day good wifi excellent breakfast but is dated need complete over haul but after five o’clock in the evening this hotel turn to hell as for the next seven hours till 1 am you don’t have a sleep at all because of the ridiculous noise because of this give this hotel a miss good staff for service all over from restaurant bar swimming pool to reception xx
Stayed here for four nights, check in quick and easy with friendly staff. Rooms clean and nice sea view, you do hear some noise from Veronica's at the night. Wide choice of food available at breakfast. Two pools, they had a good singer on during twilight hours around the pool area.
here’s a few reasons why this hotel is a jobbie hole: the hairdryer spat fire at me odd brown stains found on sheets room above us chucked a speaker off there balcony toilet didn’t flush (my pal is a pooping machine) holes in the sheets pubic hair in breakfast pros: pool biking hydro trampolining the view
Such a great place, would definitely recommend, facilities were great and entertainment team was brilliant had so much fun. Place was kept very clean and breakfast was delicious, will definitely be back
I stayed here few years ago although the rooms need updating its great location. Foods 50/50 . Well iv come back & well the room they have given me is clean i give it that but its horrible rust on the fridge only 1 plug socket ! Im facing the strip so i know i wont get any sleep . Im ok with that loud music doesn't really bother me . But the room ! Got light switches coming off the wall it was a nightmare opening the balcony door. Uncovered trip switches. Im so tired from travelling & waiting 2 hours in the check in que literally havnt got the energy to argue with anything one . Some staff are so friendly & the others ar so rude like bitter sweet
Website said 4 star. 4 out of 100 would be accurate. Food: breakfast had a huge variety, quantity over quality is their mission. Meat was cold, low variety of cold drinks and the eggs were inedible. Cereal ok. Dinner: I spent two days on the toilet. Room: uncomfortable beds, a leaking vent from the air conditioning and a tiny balcony with one chair for the two of us. Poor TV quality and 2 English channels, 1 was BBC News 24/7. The room key would work depending if you did 25 lucky rubs. Bathroom was good, but that’s little consolation. Basically the hotel is stuck in the 80’s. Just like the lift, which got stuck and broke down every day of our holiday. Some people are on the 12th floor. Complete joke. Oh, and even with sleeping tablets, you ain’t sleeping, it’s a stones throw from the 6am closing night clubs. Nightmare in every sense. The bar and restaurant staff were rude to everyone, all the time. They are part of your holiday and you would think they were forced to work against their will. They literally didn’t rush for anybody and would use any reason to throw the 2 drink rule book in your face despite your party of 3 when there’s no queue behind you. Get a grip, guys. Drinks: Dishwater, all of them. Overall: avoid, sleep on the streets to save money and get treated better. This is not a welcoming hotel. It was clean and the cleaners are excellent especially changing linen And towels daily, but it’s just so dated, miserable and offers nothing. Avoid.…
