All in all we had a good holiday. Nice food, comfortable apartment and lovely weather. The fly in the ointment was the fact that a bracelet given to me for my birthday while we were there was stolen from our room. It wasn’t left lying around it was in a wash bag inside the wardrobe and so someone had obviously been going through our personal belongings looking for something to steal, the only people with access to our room were ourselves and the cleaning staff. As we were leaving the morning after the theft was discovered we didn’t have time to involve the police so had to put it down to experience. So just be aware that not all the staff are as honest as you would hope.

Hotel was very welcoming, there are two pool areas, both heated although the top pool was much warmer than the bottom. Rooms are over two levels with a kitchen, lounge and balcony area on the entry floor and a bedroom with toilet and shower on the lower floor with another balcony area. Rooms are cleaned daily and both levels are air-conditioned. Our room was at the top of the resort which means there were many levels of stairs to climb but this didn't really become an issue. We were all inclusive so ate Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at the resort. There were many options especially on the new years gala event which is free to all inclusive guests. Overall a lovely hotel.

Our second visit to this lovely hotel and we were not disappointed. Nice apartments, lovely staff and a good choice of delicious food. Hotel staff really do their best to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Rooms and complex all kept spotlessly clean, as are the pool and gardens. We particularly enjoyed the rainforest trip put on by the hotel for guests at a nominal cost of 10 euros pp. Situated about 30 mins walk away from Playa Las Americas so near enough if you want a night out but far enough away for noise not to be an issue. Spectacular sunsets. Special mention to Jose and Stefi who always give guests a warm greeting. A firm family favourite, we came first time with our grandchildren, this time with in laws, who loved the hotel too. Well done to the management.

The hotel reminded me of caribbean resorts, set in beautiful grounds, not too big but very smart. The staff were friendly and helpful. On one particular occasion they had washed the tiled path leading down towards the pool and because I was wearing flip flops, I slipped. The young man who was doing the cleaning rushed over and helped me down to safety. So courteous. Plenty of sunbeds, so no need to worry about that. Plenty of choice at breakfast, lovely salads at lunchtime, loved the spinach, cheese and walnut salad. Trying to recreate this at home now! It was my birthday while there and although we hadn't mentioned it I was presented with a cake, candle and a chorus of happy birthday from the restaurant staff. How's that for customer service. The evening entertainment was good and varied. It was a distance from the beach but that wasn't an issue for us, we were more than happy to stay on site. As much as the hotel was lovely the food let it down enormously. We were all inclusive but by the second day we were were appalled at the food on offer, simply it was bland, cold and tasteless. Although the hotel had themed nights this didn’t make a difference. Even the food at the pool bar was always cold and tasteless. Hotel should be a 3* not a 4* as advertised

Just finished a week at this lovey resort. Family of six with two children. Rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. Water is really hot! Food is plentiful and of a great quality. Not bad vegetarian options. Evening entertainment good for kids, never stayed for the adult bits. Location is OK a tad far out but a pleasant 30 minute walk into the resort and a taxi back is about €8-10 depending on times. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Check ins and outs were fine. Pools lovely. Would recommend!

Just leaving after 5 nights and we have had a wonderful, relaxing time. The hotel is like a holiday village and everywhere is really well maintained and the gardens beautiful. The staff are all friendly and a special nod to Luis and Vera the Maitre' de's of the restaurant who are cheerful and welcoming. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and we will return.

Absolute amazing time at gran oasis!! Staff are quality, very helpful at all times!! When we was there it turned out there was a carnival at the hotel on one of the days it was superb!!! Also the entertainment at night time was fantastic!!! I’d also like to add about the aerobic class in the pool from I think her name was renae, sorry if I got it wrong but she is excellent and she helped us with many other things in the hotel! Thank you

This is a lovely complex, probably with the nicest grounds I've stayed in. It's more like a holiday village than a hotel. Everything about it is immaculate, from the grounds, the pool areas and the rooms. The accommodation is excellent, two story apartments with lots of space, nice furnishings and great bathrooms. The layout of the complex is really nice with lovely paths and walkways to the different areas away from the main building with it's reception, restaurant and bar. The food is good but like most all inclusive restaurants, it can be repetitive. The complex is also quite a distance from the beach but we knew this when we booked and were hoping the grounds would be nice enough to keep us there which they were. We had a great stay and will definitely return.
