I have just returned from my 3rd stay. We stay in the smaller section on Calle Finlandia, as my elderly mum's dementia makes remembering where she is difficult for her. The need for a room card to exit also makes me more relaxed as I know she can't wander of. The staff, especially Yolanda were great. A bottle of water in the fridge on arrival would be a great help. I do like the little touches such as a little washing-up liquid and sponge, as it's so annoying to have to buy these everytime when self catering. The bungalow has everything you need, and shops and restaurants are close by. We'll hopefully be back in January. Thanks all for another great holiday

Very nice, small, well maintained park. Centrally situated. Excellent restaurant on the park. Close to shops, the boulevard and the dunes of Maspolomas. Swimming tool and deck chairs are great. The bungalow itself good temperature without using airco because the way those bungalows are built.

In a tourist hub such as Playa del Inglés, it may prove challenging to find a place to eat a good meal in a nice setting and with a staff who are not stressed to the point of hysteria. But hidden inside the bungalow resort MUR Parque Romántico not far from to the Maspallmas sand dunes, we found just that! The hotel restaurant Parque Romántico is situated in the quiet and low key reception building, with a terrace overlooking the hotel’s three tennis courts and surrounding wooded parkland. The tranquil setting makes it hard to fathom you are still in the center of the hustling and bustling Playa del Inglés just a few meters from Av. de Tirajana and one of the bigger shopping centers. Every evening that we dined at Parque Romántico, including New Years Eve, our family of three generations - with three children between 2 and 7 - received a warm hearted and fantastic service from Yasmine, Christina and their team in the dining area and bar. In the kitchen, head chef Nayra Rufo and her team has created a menu which is not three pages up and down with every dish imaginable, but consists of a few, very well balanced and thought through dishes. The food has a traditional Spanish trait but with innovative influences from and fusions with other kitchens. And it is absolutely delicious! Another fantastic aspect to enhance the culinary experience is the wine list which, except for your obligatory choice of Champagne, is entirely and solely Spanish with a good focus on Canary producers. We were so grateful for every meal we ate at the Parque Romántico. And since we also stayed at the hotel during our visit we could enjoy the excellent and friendly service from the restaurant staff all day long, as well as the reception and cleaning staff, who all made their absolute best to make us feel welcome and comfortable, always quick to help and assist. The hotel grounds and accomodations are clean and picturesque, and the pool area is well kept and very child friendly. So lovely.
Thank you all so much for a great holiday! We will definitely come back- both to the hotel MUR Parque Romántico, and to the restaurant Parque Romántico. And to everyone staying in Playa del Inglés or the surrounding areas; even if you do not have the pleasure of staying at the hotel, make sure to make a reservation at Parque Romántico restaurant!

The place is very nice even if it practically reproduces the trulli of Puglia, excellent location everything you need is outside the residence but unfortunately on 6 days 3 we found a cockroach in the room the first time in the bathroom the second time the little son of a cockroach in the furniture of the glasses and the third time on the curtain in the bedroom, in short, for me and my daughter who are terrified of these insects it was a nightmare. I was unable to sleep peacefully, always with the light on and always on guard, a kind and helpful, positive presence was Jennifer, a splendid person, available and with a lot of patience, another employee whose name I can't remember helped us with great patience, they came to kill the cockroaches, in short, I thought I could have a good night's sleep and instead I'm nothing more tired than six days ago... you can't pay €1000 just to sleep and not be able to sleep. it's part of an important chain of villages you can't have a distressing experience... in short I would like my money back to be able to have another holiday where I can sleep without worries

Excellent bungalows, we were impressed to find the small pool surrounded by a glass wall, it reassured me that my elderly mum could not get in without me. The provision of washing up liquid and dish cloths was also impressive, at very little cost to the hotel. Beds were comfy, kitchenette fully equipped (no oven). Good bathroom. Going again in January

Stayed at MUR bungalows for 3 nights. Absolutely loved this hotels chilled out family vibe. Could be self catering and either eat on your patio area or take it around the pool to enjoy. The bungalows were well equipped and beds were comfy. Was extremely clean both around the grounds and in the bungalows. It’s a gated community so it felt very safe especially for those with little kids. The pool was freezing so I assume not heated but when it’s so hot it’s not too much of a problem. It was the perfect base to get around, walking distance to the sand dunes, Maspalomas centre, with the beach, shops bars and restaurants and about a mile away from the yumbo centre, which was a lovely bustling place with loads of great restaurants and entertainment. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back one day.

location is fine. you can walk to the dunas of maspalomas. or to the playe del english beach. there a a few restaurants and there is a shopping mall nearby. also the busstations and a pickup location for the excursions at a 5 minute walk
there is also many nightlife options in the aria. wich we did not visit.
we had a great time at parque romantico!

A split site - the main is targeted more at families with young children with a decent pool and play areas, as well as a small on site bar, restaurant and tennis courts. The second part, referred to as 'the annex' is actually across the road in a separate gated area with a much smaller pool, almost exclusively occupied by couples when we were there. This was good in one sense but also frustrating if one wished to use the facilities in the main area, having to cross a road and pass two security gates
Both areas are well tended with white washed 'bungalows', either detached or in small blocks. The outside areas are very attractive and each unit has a small sitting area outside with decent adjustable chairs. Well equipped inside, although the small washing line was around the rear of the unit and the hair dryer needed continual pressure on the handle to keep it on. We had some issues with hot water temperature & pressure initially but this improved later in the week. Unfortunately our last few days were somewhat marred by an elderly couple, who, whilst going to bed early seemed to be up by 4am with the unwelcome noise of voices, moving furniture and their TV. Appreciate this is just unfortunate but it did colour our view of the overall stay. (We did use the restaurant one evening - separate review - and this was excellent).

We stayed for 10 nights & really relaxed & recharged. Housekeeping is everyday apart from Sunday’s, you get clean towels every other day. We did try the larger pool for 2 days but preferred the smaller pool across the road as we found it quieter (no kids). We did play tennis & it’s very easy to book. Never played on Astra Turf before though which felt strange. Overall we had a lovely stay. The beds were a little shakey @ pillows too soft for my liking but that was minor. If you eat at their restaurant it’s worth knowing we had to book 2 days before & the food was pretty good We would definitely stay again.

I did not spot a specific bike garage, but it is a well closed parque and security present at night. Just call or mail them, i always had swift response.
There are more places to choose from in the Playa del Ingles area.
