Had a lovely week. As others have already stated, bungalows are basic but nice and clean. Staff all very friendly. Near ti Yumbo centre and other shops. Only criticism is you need to take lilo or something for sunbeds. No one on them because they are so hard. We sunbathed on the grass by bungalow which was fine

we stayed here in june. The bungalow was very nice(we stayed in 120) , very spacious ,excellant location. The girl on reception was very nice. The only bad thing I would say is check out is 12pm and you cannot leave your bags in reception. From 12pm you cannot use any amenities. the bungalow was cleaned every day and towels changed.

My fourth time visiting Las Tartanas. They are in an excellent location between Kasbah and Yumbo (no more than 5mins to either). The beach is also less than 10mins walk away. The accomodation is basic (microwave, hotplate, saucepan, some cutlery and crockery and a fridge/freezer) but it is everything I need when on holiday. The shower is good - always hot water and you have your own patio area. Maid comes in daily - always cheerful - and linen is changed every couple of days. I would definitely stay here again.

I would never stay here again because it's not suitable for disabled people. Every uneven footpath and steps to the bungalow. There was no air conditioning in the bungalow which made it very very very hot

Stayed here with friends great bungalows very clean. Pool area fantastic and quiet. However advised hotel I was arriving after ten pm by email which I had a reply back so they knew. We arrive the gates are locked and you cannot gain entry. On the gates is an emergency number which I rang and they claim not to speak English. After a few choice words he could speak English but said he was in Puerto Rico and could not do anything about it. Eventually two English guys came home and let us in the gates the key was in the apartment door the guys pointed out that our apartment number was written on the board by reception. Note to the owners THINK ABOUT THIS it's not rocket science the gate is locked reception closed how the hell do new guests get in??? However the next day reception was manned by a lady who I'm sure the SS lost a good woman when she left talk about firm but fair but totally wasn't interested we could not get in and was stood on the street for two hours at 11pm.

This is a small complex wit a lot off it is residential so there will not be many holiday makers which is brilliant if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday, the pool is spotless as is the grounds and the bungaloo that we where in we where adjacent to the pool which was great, unfortunately the sun beds are chained together so maneuvering them is out of the question but as it is quiet there is no problem in getting 1 facing the sun, The bungalows are on average about the same as most other complexes sitting/dining room bathroom and bedroom. The rooms where cleaned every other day and clean towels every 2 days and the cleaning lady was lovely as was all the staff, the reception is not manned 24/7 but no problem if you arrive late from your flight. It is central to all the shopping centers (Jumbo, Kasbah) and with the Red Cow/Shenanigans just around the corner, and the beach only a few minuets walk away, The only pity is no free Wi/Fi but a subscription service is available it is dearer than at home. Would i come back you better believe i would. Thanks to everyone there for a lovely holiday.

The bungalows are very basic but perfect as a base to wash, sleep and eat. They have a lovely patio area outside each one. The rest of the Spanish residents were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The other guests were an English/German mix. The location is great, the beach is a five/ten minute walk. The Yumbo centre with all it's bars, restuarants, shopping and street entertainers is five minutes up the road. There is a supermarket two minutes away. The swimming pool was large and plenty of sunbeds at any time of the day. There are two pool tables and reception has a book swap and internet access. What you need to know - Reception closes at 7pm so if you arrive after this, you need to get through a locked gate to get into the complex. (Another guest let us in) There is a buzzer/telephone number. The complex is very secure. Saturday nights can be fun, people staggering from the Yumbo centre up to 7am Sunday morning. You hear it all, arguing, fighting, singing, punching the sheeting around the fence of the complex. Fortunately it was only one day. You have the option to extend the time in your bungalow on the last day for a small fee otherwise you have to leave by 12pm which we took advantage of. Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful. The lovely receptionist waited with us when our coach driver was late just in case.

Stayed at this complex three time now, one each occasion the villas have been basic, but nevertheless clean, plenty room excellent location, friendly staff who are very helpful indeed. Reasonable priced, most villas are privately owned with dogs but didn't cause any problems at all. Great place not isolated great for the beach, restraints yumbo etc. will be booking again soon for September,2015 ideal place for a stress free break.
