Huge hotel with large rooms and a comfortable bathroom. This is not an "adults only hotel" like many others in Playa del Ingles near the Yumboo Center, so there are a lot of families children in the hotel. However, there is an additional swimming pool behind the building which is for adults only.

Amazing hotel. Do not go by the bad reviews as we couldn’t find one bad thing about the hotel. The pool area up the top area is great for adults. The rooms in the hotel were just fantastic and clean. The a la carte restaurant is worth a visit with great food and great service. The hotel overall and ground were extremely clean. Reception could be more helpful.

Hotel has just closed for major refurbishment so pointless commenting on it now. Great Breakfast spread. Loads of choice but sausages were pretty grim of UK tastes. We upgraded to AI plus, and made full use of a la carte restaurant, and premium drinks but unless you value that sort of thing it really isn't necessary. Overall on par with other Barcelo hotels, and decent value for money. Solid 4 star hotel

We had a nice stay in this hotel. We went for a half board stay. The hotel was very clean and in good conditions. The buffet wasn’t that great, but was decent. One thing that they should improve for sure is the “entertainment” activities. It was pretty boring, it does have potential for it but they surely should get people that can speak English as most guest were from abroad.

I’ve just returned from another great stay at the Occidental Margaritas. As always the hotel is looking it great, cleaned and sanitised to the max. The staff are amazing, attentive and professional. From the warm welcome at reception (great to see Lola again), the Restaurant and Bar Staff. I think the food is the best I had here ( I’ve stayed over 12 times) and a well organised dining room with time slots. The Maragritas is due to close next week for many months for a major redevelopment. I can’t wait to return and hopefully meet the staff again.

From check in to departure everything about this hotel was very good. Rooms are very clean and maintained daily. Food choices in the restaurant are very good and the drinks included in the all inclusive package are good. The pool areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized and are surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery.

Hotel had great facilities but the staff were rude and unhelpful. This was predominantly the reception staff and bar staff. Food quality varied depending on breakfast/lunch/dinner. Also very inconsistent covid rules. Work to be done!!

Good hotel with 2 Pools and they have good food with enough choice. The room is big enough and Have airco and good beds. The cleaning of the room is perfect. Personal is friendly and the most entertainment is Great. We have had a fantastic holiday.

Hotel is very comfortable. Well maintained rooms, cleaned everyday. Swimming pool is huge. But if you have children the life guards will constantly tell them off. Doing what young children would do when having fun. Jumping in, swimming to the bottom to pick objects off the floor. No inflatables. Swimming pool was for swimming only. Even a toddler with their mother a ring wasn’t allow. Arm bands only. The adults only area was shut. Basketball court shut. Gym outside was shut. Ok COVID is still about but last year else where in Spain I didn’t have these issues with facilities closed.

This rule also ensures that guests have enough space to enjoy the pool. Thorough cleaning is an absolute must for Barceló and we thank you for highlighting the high standards of our hotel. We strive to give total confidence in this area, being fully aware that this is a top priority for our guests. Regarding the Adults only area I would like to let you know that it is opened but with scheduled times, included in All Inclusive Plus Package or for other boards has a special charge like is published on our webpage. On the other hand the basketball court or tennis court is opened but it is necessary to book through Hotel application with scheduled times, Gym outside also is opened even with a personal trainer for all the guests that would like to go, necessary to book also through our Hotel app because of maximum capacity.
