Detailed Reviews
Excellent apartment hotel for people visiting the Maspalomas area. Room, although basic provides everything a traveller needs, including a clean environment, large bed and balcony area, although described as self catering the most that you could really achieve is some coffee and breakfast pastries on a plate. A three course meal would not be possible. Nice Paul, although becomes shaded one side as the day goes on. Hotel predominantly occupied during our stay by people utilising the gay pride facilities at Yumbo centre.

If you want a base to put your head in the centre of the resort with a 1 mintue walk to Yumbo centre, a supermarket across the road then this could be for you. However the un-manned reception wasn't ideal and check-in wasn't easy! It was all done by phone and lock box (when they eventuially answer and we had to call a couple of times!!).
The rooms are basic but clean, a couple of things needed fixing but you have to put it into context with the amount you pay for a central hotel!. Pool was cool (part salt water) which was a welcome after a hot day at the beach. No aircon here so peak months are hot with little breeze (even with the patio door left open). The road is noisy even at night as it's a through route but if you're out all night partying this isn't an issue. I would return for a quick budget break.

We stayed on the top floor at the end nearest to a very busy and noisy road junction, which meant you had to keep the doors and windows closed at night, but without air con it was unbearable as it was very hot when we stayed ! The hotel does not rent any fans, so we were given no choice but to purchase our own ! The bedroom is of a good size with plenty of storage and comfy large beds. In the bathroom the shower was ok but, you had to be quick before the hot water run out, it had a small window which was broken and screwed shut so you could not open it, and there was no extractor fan ! The kitchen had all the usual things you need for self catering including a large fridge/freezer. The balcony was a decent size and furnished. The whole building is in need of a refurbish and upgrade, but this is reflected in the price. As for entry gate, which closed at night, yes the lock is still faulty and desperately needs replacing.

There was a major leak from the boiler in the middle of the night in my room. There was no one at reception at night. I called them up but by the time they arrived, the apartment was flooded completely with my person items damaged and the electricity was off. It took the staff over 20 minutes to figure out how to cut off water supply. They then said that they have no other rooms and they can't help me. They haven't cleaned the water ( ankle deep throughout the whole apartment) and have not given me anything to clean it and soak up the water. It was by then 1:30 pm and they said they couldn't do anything to help me. They said someone would come at 8 am to clean the room and fix the leak so I can use water and have electricity back. They left me with the mess and water everywhere and no light. Massive Health and safety hazard. In the morning no one turned up and I had to go looking for them. At 10:30 I found a technician who resolved the issue by early lunch time. I understand that things happen but I am massively disappointed with how EO hotels handled it. I emailed them on various emails several times and they haven't acknowledged nor responded to me. I called the reception and they confirmed that my email was received and forwarded to HO but two weeks in and no response.

My experience here with two apartments was very different than the advertisement, photos and commentaries on several travel websites. I was given two apartments in disrepair. The main entrance door lock to the first apartment was broken. The door could not be locked from inside the apartment. It looked like a plastic key card was required to enter the apartment, however a key is required. The key cylinder in the main door outside of the apartment, (side facing the corridor) was surrounded by a gaping hole. There were additional holes in door filled with paper.
The second apartment had a hole in the ceiling in the kitchen. The bedroom door next to the look was scratched near the lock. Lock to the patio door in disrepair. Wall which separates patios was falling apart. Unlike the advertisement pictures, there wasn't an espresso machine, water cooker or toaster in either apartments. There were an ashtray already inside each apartment after arrival. There was a water stain (mold?) in the corner of the ceiling in the shower and the putty in and around the shower was filthy, with spots. Water continued to flow without stopping into the toilet after flushing. Cracks and dirt in putty around, outside the shower area. None of these were minor repairs, however the apartments were rented.
The lock on the main entrance gate to open from the street to gain entrance into the apartment building enclosed areal was broken. The locks cylinder didn't turn. Several people were locked out on the street early in the morning. No one's key could open the gate. There was an emergency hotline number on a note next to the gate door at the street side to call as there is no 24 hour receptionist inside this apartment building.
The good things about the apartments are: there was running water and electricity.
The good thing I've learned from this experience was to take negative comments more seriously and read those comments on all of a companies properties. Regrettably, I didn't do that before booking this location.

Check in said up to midnight, we arrived at 7.30pm and noone there nor answer the buzzer at main gate. Had to phone emergency number. There is rarely any staff available and the numbers provided, via phone and WhatsApp very hard to get hold of. Meant to be cleaned 5 times a week but ours only cleaned once and even then the cleaner only left 2 clean towels - none for the floor.
No air con FYI. Yes very good location for the Yumbo and apartment a good size all round and kitchenette adequate albeit basic.

A simple but clean hotel at a good location in Playa del Ingles. The apt are roomy, internet is ok most of the times and Yumbo with all its services is just a few mins away. Not many facilities but on the other hand: you get what you pay for. Recommended!

Its only a two min walk to Yumbo, so the location was perfect for me.
Very basic apartment. The beds are very good. kitchen equipment was very poor. Almost nothing. The pool area looks dirty and the sunbeds are old. Some staff was helpful, others looked like they hated their work.

I don’t understand the negative reviews about these Apartments. The staff were an utter delight, warm, friendly and couldn’t do enough. The Apartments, whilst basic were exceptionally clean with constant hot water. Location fabulous Beds very comfortable. I definitely recommend and will be retiring. Thank you to all.

Fantastic hotel, Our second stay here, Great room service and reception staff always welcoming and helpful. Definately book again for later in the year 2023. Literally across the road from the famous Yumbo shopping complex and Gay Bars etc. Weather was mid to high 20s and 31c during our stay. March 6th - March 15th

There’s no ground floor apartments. However, there is wheelchair access at the hotel and a lift, which should easily cater for your needs.
There are no British channels on the tv. Is this very important to you? As there’s always workarounds. eg there’s a local pub that do a decent Sunday roast with the football on tv.
Yes , you have to pay a deposit for the safe key 20 euros , which you get back on check out and I think it was 3 or 4 euros per day to hire the safe
