Detailed Reviews
I just enjoyed a stay at the Los Arcos bungalows, Number 241. I weas there from Thursday 23rd of may until Saturday 1st of June.
Some pros and cons
Cons:
They were slightly small, eith very little storage for your clothes and baggage.
The shower leaked onto the floot, not a whole lot but was just annoying.
The fridge only has the letterbox style freezer.
The cleaning carried out was only every 3 days, so getting fresh towels and toilet rolls were annoying.
Pros:
Gated community:
Nice and quiet.
Choice of 4 pools.
Comfortable.
Even though there were a few negatives, considering what I paid for them, it was good value for money. I would definitely stay there again. They were about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The yumbo id just the next street over so very convenient. The pools and grounds were spotless. You can avail of a safe, this is in a room just off main reception.

Let's start with that it is a fantastic complex where you can stay well.
Were initially two and later a friend came to stay a few nights. We had also indicated this well in advance and had also made notes of it. So far, no problem.
The misery already started, that on the day of the Towel Change, we had not received clean towels.
After that: our sheets were still not changed after a week. Bitches were missing toilet paper.
Moreover, there were no sheets and towels for our guest,
Since I had to work from home for 1 day I was lucky enough to meet the cleaning lady who wanted to make our beds without providing them with clean sheets. Made a comment about that and she picked up clean sheets. Afterwards, our beds turned out to have only received clean top sheets. Of the sheets on the couch of our Guest only the bottom sheet was changed and no top sheet. This was crumpled on the couch and moreover the towels and again no toilet paper were missing.
I noticed that the whatsapp bell, during her cleaning session in our bungalow, rang many times and could see that she answered it regularly. Nor did the 4 x phone calls go unanswered by her. Why pay attention to the work?
At the various times we had reported all these things to the reception, the problems were solved immediately. Chapeau!!!
NOTE: We have been to Los Arcos many times but have never experienced these problems.
We had Bungalow 229. period 18-6-2024 / 04-7-2024

The bungalows in Los Arcos are very nice and the location is perfect near shopping and walking and not very far from the beach. The only complaint is about the cleaning of the rooms which for a few days was very poor. We still want to come back to Los Arcos.

Firstly we are enjoying a sparkling clean spacious bungalow as a couple (no. 20).
Then there’s the roomy garden with sun loungers and our own private outdoor shower which is a nice touch.
There are no bugs around the property which even though it’s right next to Yumbo Centre is still serenely quiet.
You can’t get this sort of space to enjoy in a hotel without paying a big price.
Considering how cheap this place was to book, we are very impressed and we travel a lot.
The on-site 4 pools to swim in are all large and spacious. Quiet and don’t have the problems you get with hotels such as competition for sun beds around the pool edge.
Overall we are buzzing to stay here, the check in process was really friendly and efficient and when we return to this island we will stay here again without hesitation

Room Tip: Staying on the southern tip of the complex puts you close to everything going on without noise too

The bungalow itself is not too bad, apart from the fact there is no air con and extremely hot during the hight. The staff are awful. By the pool you are not allowed to sit on the side, sit on the grass, no t shirts allowed anywhere near the pool area and not even allowed to take a beach towel over there to dry yourself when coming out.... This is true if your not Spanish. The spanish are allowed to do all of the above. Honestly it feels like the pool attendant has been racist to us all week. I understand we are still in a pandemic, but things are opening up here now, and other hotels even have there sun loungers out. I would really love to know why I couldn't just sit on the side and watch my son swimming? One day I was sat on the side and the pool attendant tried dragging me off to reception leaving my boy in the pool un attended just so they could moan about it again, when the Spanish family sat on the pool area was left to carry on with what they was doing. I would suggest to anyone not spanish... Do not vosot here, you will not be treated in a very nice way. They don't have a problem at shouting at you, when actually your not doing a single thing wrong.

We stayed here for two nights and only slept in our bungalow once because our room was infested with cockroaches. The staff was completely unhelpful about the entire situation and blamed it on us for not telling them about it sooner and provided no help or any kind of compensation. Do no stay here as they obviously do not care about cleanliness or their guests.

I love how you have your own little bungalow here, you don't have to go past reception to get in and you have numerous pools to use, the only negative is the place is getting a little worn around the edges. Some people seem to complain about roaches...I had a few in my bungalow, I spoke to reception and they gave me a can of raid and asked me if I was out in the morning as they would deep spray the room. You can't go to Gran Canaria and expect to not see roaches and they did everything they could do and that was fine with me!!

I have stayed at Los arcos numerous times and would definitely recommend. The place is lovely and always clean, the staff are really nice and helpful. You can always get space by the pool due to their being 4 pools and the gardens have sun all day. The bungalows are spacious and have everything you need. Already can't wait for my next visit and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

We arrived in Los Arcos in September for a good holiday. Eventually it became a problem. It is never quiet due to the owners who leave the dogs alone both morning, evening and night.
There is barking and barking all the time. On behalf of a number of other residents and ourselves, we have complained to the management, many times, but it looks like they are not taking the matter seriously. Nothing happens. We have spoken to gardeners who work around the plant and have been told that this is a known problem. This has deteriorated our stay, which will last for several months. Now it will soon be Christmas and we have chosen to go home for some peace and quiet.
If someone is going on holiday for peace and quiet, Los Arcos is not the right place

Hotel Los Arcos (Playa del Inglés, Spain), unfortunately, we have experienced a theft at our hotel here in Playa del Inglés. Unfortunately, it happened while we were at home in the apartment and a key was used. It was 650 € that was placed on the dining table. I was in bed and my wife was sunbathing on the terrace. The hotel does not take responsibility, and neither does Spies travel agency. So if someone copies the keys, strangers can just walk in and out without any problems. There is also no safety box available. So if one wants to be safe, it is necessary to take all valuables with us when going out, hm... Not easy, right?!

It's not the first time it happens here, it happens often.

There’s a hairdryer
I know they have a lot of washin maskines where they wash all their sheets, linen aso. I think you can leave what you want to be washed at the reception , and they will wash it for you for some cost! Otherwise there is one laundry service on the upper floor of the Yumbo centre itself. It's five minuts walk to there!
I'd suggest you should email the hotel to get a proper answer to this question. Since I was there in mars, i,m not fully up to date, with todays matter.
