Walhalla began a new phase from the 1st of October 2011, enlisting the Servatur Group for its hotel management. Its situation in the heart of Playa del Inglés is excellent: situated 600 meters from one of the best beaches of the Canaries and situated 350 meters from shopping areas, leisure and restaurants. This location will allow you to enjoy a large variety of services and activities without having to use transport for travel and without suffering excessive noise or traffic. The opinions of guests who have visited this welcoming complex don’t have any doubt (Trip Advisor). Walhalla comprises 54 apartments and 8 bungalows, all with terraces or balconies, 2 independent double bedrooms with a maximum capacity for 4 adults. The apartments have been renovated in the summer of 2011 and are arranged with a spacious well equipped American kitchen, lounge and complete bathroom. The bungalows have 2 bathrooms.

A quiet middle-class hotel with a good location between the beach and Yumbo shopping center (about 5 min to both). A LITTLE worn (a few details) and no luxury, but worked well for us (we weren't looking for luxury). Clean and fresh. Not a gigantic complex, but more to our taste, which are not too big hotels and preferably a bit quieter.
Is an apartment hotel with self-service in terms of food (alternatively eat all meals out).
Apartment = 2 bedrooms (one with two single beds and one with a double bed, maybe 140cm wide), 1 bathroom, kitchen and living room and balcony. There are also bungalows up the stairs from the pool area. They looked ok from the outside anyway.
Cleaning 5 times/week, change of towels 3 times/week and bed linen 1g/week if you stay longer than a week..
Soap, shower gel, toilet paper, hairdryer, iron, washing-up liquid and sponge are available from the hotel. In the kitchen there is a stove with 2 plates, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, fridge and freezer.
Porcelain, glass, frying pan, saucepan, kitchen utensils and cutlery. Not such a large selection, but enough for us who ate breakfast and a light lunch in the apartment. The reception was usually staffed at the times we went by, but otherwise there was a number to call around the clock. Free wifi, worked ok the little I used.
Safety box €25 for a week, you get €10 back at check-out as long as you save the receipt.
The pool is heated to at least 22 degrees, which is still quite cool when you go in. 😂
There were always sunbeds available, but not always in the sun if you arrived late in the morning. Reservation of sunbeds not allowed, but many did it anyway.
In the pool bar/snack bar you will find a very nice man, a good selection of drinks and ice cream. Unfortunately we couldn't try the food as the wife (who is the one in the kitchen) was sick. But they have received very good reviews for the food.
There are many small supermarkets nearby, but I recommend SuperDino, which is also close by and has a large selection, good prices and a manual meat counter (also cheese counter) and fresh bread. 5 minutes away if even that if you walk up the stairs from the pool area.
There is also Cita shopping center if you continue a little further past SuperDino, where we also went a couple of evenings to eat well and stroll around a bit, find some small finds.
On the day of departure, you can use the "courtesyroom" (key at the reception) for showering, changing and going to the toilet, but very small, so don't count on any large spaces. There is a separate space for luggage next to reception.

The apartments have been nicely renovated and modernised in recent years and there is a nice bar/restaurant on site. Travel cots available free of charge but not high chairs. Each apartment has 2 beds, one double and two single. Cleaned regularly (2 or 3 times per week). Staff generally friendly and wanting to be helpful but some struggle with English. The pool and garden area very well maintained, big pool is heated and lovely and warm but baby pool very cold. There is a washer and dryer on site (coin operated). Kitchens have a microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine but could do with a few more utensils and better pans. Location is excellent - a few mins walk to Yumbo centre and beach. Supermarkets (3) within a few mins walk. The area has loads of bars and restaurants and suitable for all ages. Lovely beach walks.

Great apartment. Take salt & pepper, scissors, hair dryer if you need them. Clean room and cleaning services 5/7 weekly. No AC but fans in bedrooms- may need to ask for controller. Wedge open from door and back for a flow of fresh air. Washing machine & dryer on site €5 includes liquid. 2 supermarkets close by - 1 on way to beach 1 larger cheaper, Dino, up steps from swimming pool. Pool clean. Staff friendly & helpful. Larger shopping centre Yumbo with restaurants and bars via steps from pool. We ate out every night and no problems. Sunbeds on beach €7.50 for 2 all day - beach busy but still loads of room. We will definitely return.

We stayed in Walhalla apartment for a week. It was a great choice for one couple and one adult as we needed two bedrooms. The apartment block was placed very close to Yumbo centre and the bus stops to the airport. We had an apartment on the 3rd floor. It was very tidy and stylish. Pretty quiet as well. It was recently refurbished. There were enough cutlery and Crockery for making breakfast. Coffee maker was a bonus. It would be good if there was a kettle. There was also cleaning stuff. The bathroom was very bright, modern and clean. Towels were soft and changed Regularly once left on the floor. The beds were comfortable. We didn’t use any AC as it was not needed in February.
We spent only one day at the pool. It was a great experience as the water was heated but there were a lot of families with loud kids so if you need a quiet time it really was. We spent our days at the beach or other public pools.
For the price, quality and the location we would again choose Walhalla apartments. They are great for families and also friends who need separate bedrooms and want to safe on expensive hotel rooms.

A little gem. Apartments good size with two bedrooms. Pool area nice with lovely heated pool which is a must in February. Kiddies pool was freezing though. Excellent location close to shops, restaurants and bars. Only downsides were that the maid service during the week was a bit poor, just moved the dirt around floors and walls but we just cleaned ourselves so not a massive deal. And even though there were 5 of us we weren't allowed 5 chairs for the terrace despite the place not being fully booked. The kitchen equipment/crockery was also only set up for 4 so someone was always without a plate etc. Oh and the pool bar is great but was shut for most of our stay which was such a shame as it was handy. Friendly staff though and a nice little find for the price.

I have previously stayed at the Walhalla in the main apartment block and had been very happy with the size and quality of the room.
This time we stayed in one of the Walhalla’s small number of bungalows (located just up a flight of stairs behind the swimming pool).
We were blown away. We can’t speak highly enough of these fantastic bungalows.
In brief: we had two bedrooms (a double and a twin); two bathrooms with full walk-in showers; large kitchen area; very spacious lounge with sofa that also converted to a double bed; terrace; garden (which was beautifully maintained); and sunbeds and outdoor table and chairs.
The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils/appliances, including kettle, toaster, coffee maker. There was also a pack of cloths, sponges and washing up liquid.
Bathrooms had toiletries (liquid soap and shower gel).
The whole place was spotless and in really good condition. It had the benefit of being in a quiet corner, so was very peaceful – yet just a few stairs away from the pool.
We would stay at these bungalows again in a heartbeat.

Can not fault this complex. Ideally situated between yumbo shopping centre and beach, max 10 min walk to either . Room was just amazing for the price. All amenities u need, kettle, toaster full size f/freezer, microwave, oven etc. Staff very friendly n helpful. Did have an issue with ceiling fans in rooms but that was easily resolved by asking concierge for the remotes (deposit req). Pool wasnt huge but was totally ideal to lounge around or go for a dip. On a whole I cant fault this place. Am looking forward to staying here again soon. Well done walhalla.

Just home after a weeks stay at walhalla. The apartment was spacious, clean and modern. There was 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and another with twin beds. Living room was big with sofa and tv. It was openplan to the kitchen where you had everything you could need.
Cleaners clean 5days a week, we didn't need ours cleaned each day so just asked for clean towels. We found all staff to be very welcoming and friendly, who also spoke good english.
Pool area was lovely, had no problems getting sunloungers, which were good quality.
Pool bar was a added bonus as you don't always get when staying in apartments. We eat and drank there most days. Good quality food and drink for a resonable price. Plus diego is very welcoming and great to speak to. Great hospitality
We would defiantly return and have already recommended to friends and family

Four young women went on this trip for a week and shared a two bedded apartment. The apartment itself was beautiful, ten minute walk from the beach in one direction and the yumbo in the other direction. Ideal location within the area. However we had to ask for our towels to be changed after four days, and ask twice in the same day for toilet paper. The staff at the front desk were rude to us when we would make these requests. The fans in the two rooms wouldn’t work when the light were on, and was extremely difficult to get working in both rooms - when this was reported nothing was done about it only advice to shut the bedroom rooms when turning on the fans. This led to us not being able to have our bedroom lights on for the whole trip. The electricity was turned off in the hotel from 06:00 to 15:00 with no explanation and only 24 hours notice. The bathrooms had no windows so it was pitch black utilising the bathroom with the door shut. I would only recommend if you’re not wanting a good service, and only utilising your apartment to sleep. I would not return.

We were looking for a two bedroomed apartment in Gran Canaria for a relaxing week away and this wee gem popped up in Playa del Ingles.
Not familiar of the area, we took a chance…so glad we did.
The apartment is huge, spotless and so central for the beach, shops and yumbo centre. Beds were so comfortable. We had a balcony with table and four chairs which was spacious in comparison with others I’ve stayed in.
The pool was heated and a blessing in January even though the weather was great.
The staff couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel very welcome.
A special thank you to the hotel manager who absolutely went beyond the call of duty when I realised on arrival to the airport that my passport was missing and must have slipped down the back of the sofa!! He immediately sent this via taxi to the airport for me. Honestly can’t thank you enough!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The apartments have cutlery and a small of number of pots and pans. There are cleaning products for the sink (washing up liquid, scrub, towel) but not shower gel etc. in the bathrooms, but towels are provided in bathrooms.
5 would be a bit cramped. There's a room with a double bed and a room with two single beds. Someone could maybe sleep on the sofabed in living area
.
Dear customer, you can enjoy our pool throughout most of the day when the weather is good and the sun is out. Thank you!
