Walhalla began a new phase from the 1st of October 2011, enlisting the Servatur Group for its hotel management. Its situation in the heart of Playa del Inglés is excellent: situated 600 meters from one of the best beaches of the Canaries and situated 350 meters from shopping areas, leisure and restaurants. This location will allow you to enjoy a large variety of services and activities without having to use transport for travel and without suffering excessive noise or traffic. The opinions of guests who have visited this welcoming complex don’t have any doubt (Trip Advisor). Walhalla comprises 54 apartments and 8 bungalows, all with terraces or balconies, 2 independent double bedrooms with a maximum capacity for 4 adults. The apartments have been renovated in the summer of 2011 and are arranged with a spacious well equipped American kitchen, lounge and complete bathroom. The bungalows have 2 bathrooms.

I have previously stayed at the Walhalla in the main apartment block and had been very happy with the size and quality of the room. This time we stayed in one of the Walhalla’s small number of bungalows (located just up a flight of stairs behind the swimming pool). We were blown away. We can’t speak highly enough of these fantastic bungalows. In brief: we had two bedrooms (a double and a twin); two bathrooms with full walk-in showers; large kitchen area; very spacious lounge with sofa that also converted to a double bed; terrace; garden (which was beautifully maintained); and sunbeds and outdoor table and chairs. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils/appliances, including kettle, toaster, coffee maker. There was also a pack of cloths, sponges and washing up liquid. Bathrooms had toiletries (liquid soap and shower gel). The whole place was spotless and in really good condition. It had the benefit of being in a quiet corner, so was very peaceful – yet just a few stairs away from the pool. We would stay at these bungalows again in a heartbeat.

Great apartment. Take salt & pepper, scissors, hair dryer if you need them. Clean room and cleaning services 5/7 weekly. No AC but fans in bedrooms- may need to ask for controller. Wedge open from door and back for a flow of fresh air. Washing machine & dryer on site €5 includes liquid. 2 supermarkets close by - 1 on way to beach 1 larger cheaper, Dino, up steps from swimming pool. Pool clean. Staff friendly & helpful. Larger shopping centre Yumbo with restaurants and bars via steps from pool. We ate out every night and no problems. Sunbeds on beach €7.50 for 2 all day - beach busy but still loads of room. We will definitely return.

Stayed here with our three young children. Perfect location just a short walk to beach , shops and other amenities. Water park is a short taxi drive away. Very clean apartment. Plenty of space for a family of 5. Unfortunately my son suffered a severe croup attack on night three of our stay. The man at reception couldn't have been more helpful, rang an ambulance and communicated with paramedics for us. We had to cut our stay short due to this but will definitely be back as soon as possible. Thank you Alsol Walhalla!

Great holiday, Apartments were spotless, towels and sheets changed most days as required except sun and tues. Diego makes best sandwiches and cocktails at pool bar. A/C could be improved esp in sittingroom area. Fans in bedrooms were hit and miss. One Lifeguard had issues with inflatables/ balls even though we were only ones using pool. No issues with others. Aqua aerobics activities might be nice add. Would definitely consider returning.

Four young women went on this trip for a week and shared a two bedded apartment. The apartment itself was beautiful, ten minute walk from the beach in one direction and the yumbo in the other direction. Ideal location within the area. However we had to ask for our towels to be changed after four days, and ask twice in the same day for toilet paper. The staff at the front desk were rude to us when we would make these requests. The fans in the two rooms wouldn’t work when the light were on, and was extremely difficult to get working in both rooms - when this was reported nothing was done about it only advice to shut the bedroom rooms when turning on the fans. This led to us not being able to have our bedroom lights on for the whole trip. The electricity was turned off in the hotel from 06:00 to 15:00 with no explanation and only 24 hours notice. The bathrooms had no windows so it was pitch black utilising the bathroom with the door shut. I would only recommend if you’re not wanting a good service, and only utilising your apartment to sleep. I would not return.

Wow wow wow. No idea why it says 2 stars. This was a great wee find. So clean, everything you need, beds are very comfortable, the pool bar needs a review all on its own. Diego (the bar man) welcomed our party in and made the best holiday cocktails ever. Pool was clean as was the surrounding area. Only 1 thing I would have liked and that would have been air con. There are fans in the bedrooms so I am being exceptionally picky. Amazing, can’t wait to come back 😍

Visited this hotel mid feb with husband and 2 kids aged 11 and 4. Checked in promptly on arrival, receptionist was chearful and efficient. Room spotless and spacious - amazing that they offer 2 bed apartments. Self catering option only so they provide you with all utensils and kitchen equipment with a mini hob, microwave, fridge freezer. Nearest supermarket 5 min walk either way when you walk out hotel gate. They also provide you with towels, washing up liquid, sponge and cloth. Extra pillows and thick duvet in wardrobes. Plenty coathangers. Safe in wardrobe €25 and if you keep receipt you get €10 back. Beds memory foam, not the best, i dont like memory foam but each to their own. We were in room 311, close to main road. Odd occasional night we would hear noises from drunk passers by but nothing extreme. Pool bar was great, not too pricey and food was always great - pizzas amazing! Bar man very chatty and pleasant - always enjoyed our chats. Play park just off from the pool, not upto much, small slide and springy toys, entertained my 4 yr old for a little bit. Heated pool in feb - spot on! Plenty sun loungers. Baby pool baltic! Odd time my 4yr old used. We also traveled with my husbands sister and her family. We were on upper floor, they were ground floor Room 303. 1st night they had worms coming up through their drain which was awful for them. Only happened to Room 303, hotel tried to rectify situation but they kept coming back up and spreading over bathroom. After 2 days, and them asking to be moved room the 1st intance it happened they were moved next door to room 302 and didnt have any issues after that. Enjoyable stay and would definately return as 10min walk to jumbo was ideal and 10min taxi trip costing €11 to Holiday World. And 10min walk to beach front👍😊☀️

Just home after a weeks stay at walhalla. The apartment was spacious, clean and modern. There was 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and another with twin beds. Living room was big with sofa and tv. It was openplan to the kitchen where you had everything you could need. Cleaners clean 5days a week, we didn't need ours cleaned each day so just asked for clean towels. We found all staff to be very welcoming and friendly, who also spoke good english. Pool area was lovely, had no problems getting sunloungers, which were good quality. Pool bar was a added bonus as you don't always get when staying in apartments. We eat and drank there most days. Good quality food and drink for a resonable price. Plus diego is very welcoming and great to speak to. Great hospitality We would defiantly return and have already recommended to friends and family
