Stayed here for 10 nights. Arrived quite late and was told where our room was but we spent quite a while wandering around in the dark trying to find our block and room eventually found it after another guest helped us out. We had a bottle of water and a few cans of pop in the mini fridge supplied. Stayed in block 14 with an amazing sea view. Room large and comfortable with a great shower. No kettle but we took our own as already knew that was the case. Food in the main restaurant exceeded our expectations with plenty of choice and good quality with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. The desserts were amazing. Very noisy in there at times and no option to eat outside. We managed to book the Italian which was okay but no menu choice and quite tasteless. We also visited the Bodega but wasn’t to our taste at all although others seemed to enjoy it. Pool bar snacks were good burgers, hotdogs. Chicken. Chips and rice and salad most days. Drinks were good I’m now addicted to mojitos! The wine was really nice compared to other all inclusive places. Sunbed issues were not too bad it does get busy but we always managed to find some. Pools very clean and yes there are a few tiles missing from activity pool but the toddler/children pool was fine. We didn’t do any of the evening entertainment as it doesn’t start until 10.30pm so a bit late for us! The area is okay nothing to do walking distance apart from a lovely beach bar just down the beach We did the dolphin excursion which was okay didn’t see any dolphins and was a bit boring to be honest. A must visit is the oasis wildlife park it is amazing and was the favourite day of my holiday, feeding the giraffes was amazing. Did get a taxi into morro jable a couple of times for a change of scenery. Had a lovely time but probably wouldn’t return as we do like the option to go out and stroll around other restaurants tavernas etc without having to get taxis.

Hotel's Favorite
If I could rate 3.5* I would. Just finished a week's holiday here at tui magic life fuertuventura. It's been a fabulous week as always some positives and some negatives or areas for improvement. First of all we were dreading coming after hearing about the cockroach infestation begining of May. Tried to change hotel and visited tui superstore to which no one had a clue what was going on personally I found that quite unacceptable and very unhelpful offering literally nothing just played the I don't know card. Put me off travelling with Tui again. Check in 2 days before isn't great makes things difficult then had trouble getting my boarding passes on phone when in resort. (Flown with Jet2 November check-in 28days before get boarding passes for outbound and inbound flights) something tui needs to look at doing to improve. Flight delayed on the way out by an hour not ideal but things happen. Arrive at fuertuventura airport Wiz through really quick off the plane and on the coach in around 15mins perfect. However when checking phone for coach number I had a text saying 1 thing and app saying another? Confusing but checked with driver turns out both going to same place. Had to wait on coach for others for around 30mins+ waiting for people arriving off different flights. Coach journey 1hour 5 mins not to bad expected worse. Arrive at the hotel 3 coaches pull up at the same time! Cued waiting to check-in for around 30mins, (middle of the cue) presume some at the back of the cue were waiting around an hour. Reception desk had 4 people on I blame the tui reps and coaches and not the hotel. Given a map at reception and shown how to get to the room the complex is pretty big but there are maps throughout the hotel on walls and boards however we never used the map and found the way around the hotel easily. Very accessible for disabled people also ramps etc throughout and reception offer to help with cases if needed. Arrive at the room, surprised how big the room was connected to the WiFi 5 devices which I find is very good and service throughout the hotel. Managed to use my firestick on a night to watch Netflix etc. Have to use the magic life app to book anything and everything, from reservations, activities to room issues. Service was rapid requested extra pillows and it was done in 10mins. Light not working on the balcony was fixed the same night. Booked speciality restaurants. The flavour (international) showing Sunday* but we went on a Saturday? The trattoria (Italian) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday* The bodega (Spanish) Thursday, Friday Saturday* (*I think the days vary each week as when we booked the days available are different to now*) Didn't manage to do the Spanish restaurant. However food in the flavour was lovely myself and wife had the lamb for main best food I had all week. Deserts I had greek yoghurt and wife had tiramisu we were both very pleased. Starters were ok just had the 1 starter tuna with chips. 2 crisps and some tuna. Trattoria selection limited, no choice for starter or desert you get what your given risotto I like personally but my wife and son doesn't. Only 3 mains went for ravioli was ok my wife enjoyed more than me. Son had pizza. He was over the moon loves pizza. However on this occasion he was less than impressed 🙈 Hotel is very VERY clean throughout always people around cleaning and all the staff help each other out. Grounds are kept well maintained gardeners around all the time. Security at the front of the hotel and some see them going round the hotel. The hotel really looks after the cats you will find shelters throughout the grounds and cats asleep in places we often saw a cat on the sofa in reception and staff feeding them. (Donation box in reception) Hotel is very economical they upon entry to the room you get a glass bottle of water with water stations through out the hotel and each house section. This is to encourage people not to buy water in plastic bottles. Also must add there are plenty of toilets through out the hotel. Shops on site I feel are responsibly priced and have pretty much every you could need. We walked down the beach to shops and spar on a few occasions was around 20 mins ish depending on pace. Beach is probably the best beach I have ever been to. I have seen some good beaches but this on a good day is like something on a post card or you would find in Carribbean! Snorkeled with my son and went out quite far the water was so crystal clear you don't realised how deep it gets because you can see the bottom so far out. Only issue is the steps access is quite steep 78 steps doesn't seem much however they are all different sizes. Drinks there is brilliant selection of drinks, beer is Amstel, also have strongbow cider both on tap. Good range of cocktails alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Plus chocolate milkshakes and hot drinks, coffee, cappuccino, latte machiato to name a few then good variety of tea. Ice cream lovely ice cream cones and choice of ice cream from the pool bar. Cockroaches I saw 4 in the whole week. All outdoors doesn't seem like much of an issue to me. Some extra special touches are: The silent disco on a night something I haven't ever experienced before. Gala night after this has finished there are some fireworks something you don't experience very often on holiday. BBQ pool party Foam pool party Inflatable pool party All take place at the activity pool by the plaza bar. Plenty of activities, for different age ranges but I do feel it's all based around older kids/teens 16+ Staff are very friendly can't say I have come across any rude or unhelpful staff. All help each other out. Down to even the lifeguard getting involved with cleaning around the pool and helping the entertainment team or playing with the kids by the pool. Bad points 🙈 Food is dreadful, I am not a fussy eater but I found it difficult to enjoy anything and the food was always luke warm basically cold. This has been the biggest let down for me. Son resorted to chips and pasta every night and got to appoint where he said he's had enough of the food and wanted to go home for something good to eat. The same stuff on repeat nothing EVER changes. I tried a variety of different foods but never enjoyed anything. Birds in the restaurant not sure how you can stop this however at one point I saw a bird on the salad bar pecking at food 🤢🙈 Pool tiles I didn't think would be an issue these things happen. However it is and this I feel degrades the hotels appearance as the pools are lovely and temperature are perfect even my wife went in who doesn't usually. But the tiles are missing everywhere. I cut 2 toes and hurt my foot on the tiles when playing water polo. The hotel needs to sort this out ASAP. I did see a worker trying to replace some on the last night I feel this is abit to late. Would I return? No I wouldn't because the food is a big let down, if the food variety was better and not so repetitive this would help massively and the tiles really need sorting ASAP. Lastly I would recommend the oasis wildlife park, but be prepared the place is huge!

We were worried when we read some of the weaker comments. There are flaws with the package and hotel, but you can find problems with any hotel you book - home or abroad. There are lots of activities and games to get involved in or if you prefer being quiet, you aren't pestered to join in. The food was good and lots of selection, in line with most AIs. The staff were welcoming and the entertainment staff engaging. The Wi-Fi isn't great, considering the magic life drives all the bookings for classes and restaurants etc, it should be more available and less flaky. The gym and fitness classes are good but some of the gym equipment needs replacing. The speciality restaurants are okay. The international and tapas were great, the Italian wasn't great at all. Although it was nice to have the option to be served and waited upon. Alcohol is better than some places we have been and doesn't taste like petrol like some AIs. The beach is lush. Sandy. There are 2 ways to get to the beach from the hotel. One of these includes quite steep steps. Don't forget your room key. You need to tap it on the scanner to get back in! Pools were nice, unheated but pleasant after a summers warmth. Rooms are large, most have balconies that we could see. They were cleaned daily. There were some small ants knocking around, but they are very, very small and only a minor inconvenience. Would I recommend- yes Would I come again - yes

This has been a very pleasant hotel to stay at. The staff were absolutely wonderful and you can tell how hardworking everyone is. From the cleaners who kept our room in lovely condition. To the waiters who were very speedy at greeting us and clearing our tables to the reception staff who were more than happy to help when needed. I really appreciate all the staff who made this holiday something to remember. The activities available were overall very enjoyable. Especially the daily aquarobics offered at the main pool every morning. The theatre is also a great addition to the hotel, I especially enjoyed the extravaganza night. The dancers were absolutely fantastic. The food was usually the same options each night. However with the amount of options provided to you this wasn’t really an issue and I was still able to enjoy every meal offered. Friday night was especially fantastic with the variety of food and dessert offered it was honestly exceptional and I was very impressed! You can tell the chefs are all very good at their jobs! My only slight complaint is since our room was on the ground floor (21001) it did mean that we noticed quite a few ants in our room despite no food being left out which was slightly off putting. So my only advice would be that if you’re not a fan of bugs then I would request a room on an upper floor. But overall this has been a very lovely, relaxing hotel and I’ll definitely be staying at a Tui magic life hotel again! I’d also like to say a big thank you to the Tui reps at the hotel for being very helpful when booking activities. They explained everything in detail and got everything arranged for us which made the entire process relaxing and hassle free!

We returned to a very different hotel to the one we stayed at four years ago. Rooms were cleaned daily but to a poor standard, floors never cleaned. Swimming pools had many tiles missing with sharp edges, the water had a film of green. The maintenance crew cleaned the pools at 11 am when people were in the pool. They were constantly taking samples which was very concerning. We discovered very early on there was no umbrella’s and not much shade concerning for young children. Bar areas were packed we couldn’t find a seat to sit and have a non alcoholic drink ( well they were supposed to be but pre-made cocktails did not have much alcohol in ) the mojito’s were good. The evening shows were held in the Theatre with no air con ! We booked the Italian restaurant on our second evening OMG avoid this at all cost! The menu was a set starter and desert , the main was a choice of two meals. We had the ( meat ) ravioli but when asked what meat was inside the waiter did not know. The service manager was very rude when we asked to sit outside. We walked out when given our desert of a panacotta that was more like a yogurt. That night my partner and I were in awful pain with diarrhoea followed by the vomiting. This lasted for our entire weeks holiday ending up with an entire day in bed. We never ate more than toast for the rest of the week. We were all inclusive so made us extremely disappointed. We were told to fill our glass water bottles up from the water stations which are on every block unfortunately the water tasted very weird and with upset stomaches we were not going to risk the chance, we had to buy bottles from the shop on site. Staff at the hotel were pleasant except for the waiters in the restaurant not even a smile or a greeting. Everyone we spoke to could not get any WIFI in their rooms. This hotel needs a complete update it’s very tired needs painting and just bringing up to the standard of a 4 star hotel at the moment I would say this hotel is a 2 star.

Myself , boyfriend and mother in-law went for a week late last month and got back for the 6th of september. It was the best holiday I have ever been on, my boyfriend and i are 19 years old and the entertainment of a night is amazing! Great for teens but also kids and older people, there’s a huge selection of activities at night like a silent disco , band acts , Karaoke and way more! The staff were absolutely perfection , so lovely and the hotel!! Well it was stunning! I can’t see why there’s so many bad/low rating reviews it is the most gorgeous place and not to far away from the main town also! You don’t even have to leave the hotel anyway as there’s so much to do everyday! I’ve seen people complain about the pool missing tiles, the pool was getting fixed of a night time, so should be fine very soon, there wasn’t a problem with it anyway people are just picky. The drinks and food were brilliant such a selection! As soon as you arrive they take your belongings at the door and deliver them to your room which was lovely. All in all a great hotel! Will definitely be going back next year.

A few months before we arrived I’d torn ligaments in my knee so I was apprehensive about our visit given the other reviews about the beach and lack of lifts in some blocks. Sure enough we were on the 1st floor of a block with no lift. However the sea view was excellent so we stuck with it. The room was clean and large with a good bathroom. I was pleased with the alcohol choices however going forward I’d bring my own cup as the ones provided hold about 3inches The food was ok, at first enjoyable but repetitive after a week or so. We tried the a la carte restaurant. It was NOT good, a very poor selection of food and what I ordered was inedible, lukewarm and tasteless. The Buffet is better even though the childrens offering are not very varied. The pool has been much reviewed on here, and quite rightly, it’s in a bad state. Tiles missing everywhere and more falling off daily. The ladders in and out are unstable. This pool needs full maintenance before someone suffers a serious injury. Pool cleanliness! This is also poor, they don’t really have a closed time but usually around 6pm staff start tidying the sunbeds up AT NO POINT whilst doing this do they clean the floor. So the next morning you go out and there would still be dried ice cream/ketchup spills and general dark stains, only then will you see someone go round with a mop, but by then the sunbeds are in use so a very small amount of the floor is cleaned. This Hotel is not at the Star level TUI claim and needs a lot of work to get it up to level. We will not return.

We had a great week at this hotel. We absolutely loved our time at the beach. Lots of people complaining about lack of sun beds however we didn’t have trouble getting a sun bed maybe not always in the same place however it was peak season in August so expected it to be really busy. Food was good. A little repetitive but the same as any all inclusive I have been at. Always plenty of food and it was hot. Rooms were big and cool. The bed was massive and very comfortable. All clean and staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our holiday was so lovely and made even better by my boyfriend proposing to me on the last night. We will never forget our time at magic life and it will always have a special place in our hearts and memories. Thank you. I am sure we will be back.

Tui magic Basically the hotel amenities are at over capacity too many guest for the hotel. If you want to sit by the pool you have to reserve a sun bed before 8:30 with your towel, ignore the signs not too everyone’s else does. the small mosaic tiles of the pool where never grouted in and are coming up in patches which gives the kids something to do to stack them outside. The beach is 75 steps from the hotel but there are no provisions at the beach I.e. sunbeds or umbrellas. The restaurant I thought served good food but it was almost exactly the same everyday “international”. If you don’t want to queue you have to be there before 7PM to get a table. Even then you have queue for the popular food like pizza or ice cream. The wine and beer was very average. The a la cart restaurants are only reserved via the Tui app and only between 48 to 72 hours in advance. Several people we observed booked but walked out when the saw the menus. They don’t meet the definition of A la cart the Italian restaurant had a choice of one starter and one desert and only four main meals. However, good luck trying to get the app to work. The wifi is completely overwhelmed and you need to constantly refresh / log back on to get to any access. At peak times doesn’t work. The same is true for all the other activities on the app. The main bar only has 20 tables so we never managed to see a show there or sit for a drink in the 12 days we stayed. From 18:00 all the seats were taken. The theater shows started at 21:30 but you had to be there by 8:45 to get a seat. I found the staff generally friendly but didn’t like the way they drove around in electric buggies on the same footpaths at guests forcing us to jump out the way. The linen in our room was getting very worn frayed towels and small holes in the bed sheets. The weather good, the hotel is at least 60 minutes from the airport.

However, we understand that you may be uncomfortable with the lack of sun loungers and service on the beach, but it is something that is out of our hands. The beaches in Spain are all public and hotels can neither buy them nor make private use of them. Your observations about the variety and availability of food in the restaurant are valuable. Sorry to hear that the seating availability in the main bar and the entertainment arrangements were not satisfactory during your stay. Returned yesterday after 11 nights here with my family and friends. To start, I will state that we have stayed in many 4 star all inclusive resorts across Europe and don't have stupidly high expectations of things, what I do expect from a 4 star resort is a choice of places to eat at lunch time, clean communal areas, clean rooms, well maintained decor and furnishings and a varied choice of restaurants to eat at night time. This is not a 4 star property, simple as that! Positives: Entertainment is excellent, varied forms of it too at night time and all well executed by the staff Lovely outside bar area (Plaza) open from 6pm Self service drinks Beach - stunning! Negatives: One, one pool bar serving 2 huge pools. Queues every lunchtime for basic food, burgers, hot dogs etc. Flimsy paper cups that disintegrate within minutes. Poor choice of cocktails, all pre-made, with the exception of the mojitos which were very nice. Main buffet is the same every night, no theme nights. The food that was available was nice but after eating spaghetti bolognaise for entire time I had had enough! The pizza is lovely but the queues for it are not. Sometimes an awful vomit smell close to the self service drinks. Themed restaurants were hard to reserve but OK, nothing special. Sports bar - that doesn't serve drinks until 6pm!!!! Alcoholic drinks from the main bar were dreadful, well the vodka was anyway, tasted like aniseed 🤢🤢 Rooms - were cleaned daily but not to a very high standard, sand still left in shower tray etc. And the Ants....our friends had to move rooms because they had infested their babies bottles and milk🤢bed sheets only changed once in 11 days Pools - WHERE TO START😡😫 Not well maintained at all, murky Green water, pool tiles missing, like huge areas in the activity pool. They often decided to clean them att 11.30am - why were they not doing this when the pool was closed? Maintenance men constantly having to check chemical levels during the day, very concerning when you've been swimming in it. Sunbed areas never cleaned before the start of the new day, bins left overflowing with rubbish and nappies, often the lifeguard resorted to emptying them😳 Pool toilets often dirty and overflowing, not regularly cleaned. This hotel is dated and needs serious refurbishment to bring it back up to scratch. TUI were shocking from start to finish and by finish I mean a 90 minute transfer back to the airport on a coach with no air con, it was reaching 40 degrees in there and people were close to having serious health concerns including babies. Would not return and would not recommend, anyone who has stayed here and think its nice must of never been to a real 4 star resort. We booked last September and paid £7000 for 2 adults and 2 children!!!! Absolute waste of money.
