Apartment was very large with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, drying room, bathroom and lounge. The fantastic view made up for the tired furniture. Sammy in reception was very good as was Jose. Apartments not recommended for anyone who has trouble getting about due to the 200 plus steps you have to walk up and down each day to reach a shop, bar or the beach. Pool was lovely and always clean and very quiet.
the staff very helpful and friendly love this hotel stay every year. plenty of room in the apartment every thing you need in kitchen . tv and air condition . pool side bar and restaurant grate nice food and good on price.
only stayed for 2nights as we extended our holiday and the other apartments where full basic old style rooms done as we only slept in it pool area was nice but to far up hill for me too many stairs especially when drunk
We stayed in the Vista Club apartments for a week in mid September 2019. First of all the positives! Check in went smoothly. They keep adults passports for about half hour and give them back then. Little blip with no bedding or towels for kids but easily sorted with reception. 1 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. Lovely view of pool. Room 340. Air con works very well. It's only in living area and not bedroom. No problem getting sunbeds at any time and big umbrellas everywhere for shade if needed. Lifeguard on duty all day and always watching. He was very good. No problem with kids inflatables in pool. Pool bar staff were excellent and friendly. Food was reasonably priced and eggs always cooked to order. Lovely piped music in pool bar mostly 80s 90s easy listening. Check out was great again. We paid 50 euro deposit which was given back straight away. Reception ordered taxi which was there in record time. All great. The negatives... Cleaning was poor. Lovely lady came every day. The first day she swished a mop about a bit but after that it was just toilet roll and towels and empty bin. No change of sheets all week. There is a brush and mop but the brush had bits falling off so made more of a mess when you tried to clean and the mop was smelly. No access to food after 7pm. We have two kids and if you want anything to eat after 7pm you have to head down to the resort. There's nothing available in apartments and no restaurants around other than walking down the infamous steps. After the beach one day, we looked for takeout menu from reception. They couldn't find any. My DH ended up going down the steps and back up with pizza. I think the pool bar should be open for food until 9. There is days with kids when the last thing you want to do is bring them out again when they are tired and cranky. The steps are lethal in the dark. There is broken steps and bannisters missing in parts. No problem walking down being careful during the day but one night we were late and we had to use phones for torches going down. 5 euro in taxi to get back up. Taxis are plentiful. Would I stay again? Adults with no kids would probably find it fine. Other than the cleaning which did put me off.... Lovely staff though.…
The apartments are a great size but very dated also the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Best thing about Vista Club is the views from the fantastic balconies. A lot of young people staying here for party holidays and unfortunately if they’re partying next door to and in the room above you, you won’t be getting much sleep. This happened on a few nights so you should take this into consideration. Good location apart from all the steps.
