We returned from the Casablanca Hotel in Santa Ponsa on Friday after a 2-week stay. The staff at the hotel are an absolute credit and made the holiday even more special for us, especially as three of our party of five were celebrating birthdays during our stay. Ramon, Felix, Cynthea, Charo and all the staff at the hotel were simply wonderful, so attentive, friendly and brilliant at what they do. The hotel was spotless and the cleaning staff always had a smile and a hello when passing. We had rooms on the 2nd floor (503 & 501) with beautiful views of the pool and Santa Ponsa bay. These rooms have been refurbished and were very good quality. Again, the rooms and the restaurant were spotless. It was good to see staff giving gentle reminders that masks were to be worn when visiting the buffet. Food was fresh and high quality - not the largest selection but we were more than happy with what was on offer over our stay. Poolside is well looked after, plenty of sun beds available and really clean. Pool bar has a small selection of food but I would highly recommend the sangria on offer! Very short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. The staff are a credit to this hotel and I would definitely stay again, as well as recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Santa Ponsa. Thank you Casablanca Hotel!…
Stayed here for 10 nights ,a wee gem of a hotel .Ramon , Felix, Cynthea. Charo and other female receptionist were fantastic they went beyond their job to make us feel really cared for and the best customer service ever,Hotel was spotless , food was fantastic I would highly recommend this hotel. Not forgetting the cleaners , they were fantastic at their jobs .A huge thank you all for making a fantastic holiday for us.
recently refurbished apartments , more space and very clean . The apartments are great for self-catering or half-boarders , as the kitchen are equipped with kettles , pans and even a blender . I have stayed in the apartments twice , one time before and one time after the refurbishments . The rooms are big with enough storage but the air con is often quite loud .
The apartments had recently been refurbished. The description said that most had a pool/sea view, but ours on the 3rd floor, faced the road. I counted at least 10 apartments facing the road. When we arrived, could not locate a safe in the bedroom. Went next door to reception, which was in the hotel next door. The receptionist said that all the safes were in a lobby round the corner, in a rather ancient stack. Unbelievable - never stayed in an apartment where no safe in the bedroom, highly unusual, and of course there was a fee. Good bathroom, but no bath, and no light over the shower, so rather dark. For a so called self catering apartment, there was no chopping board, and no wine glasses. The fridge did not have a light, and NO ICE MAKING FACILITY!!! Never stayed anywhere before where fridge did not make ice. Went to the bar at hotel next door, part of the complex, to obtain ice - very bad attitude from barman. Complained at reception, but this did no good, so we went ice cubes free for most of our holiday. Kept hitting my head on light over dining table, as far too low. Housekeeping was every 3 days, so that meant rubbish not collected for 3 days at a time!! We had ants in the apartment, but maid quickly dealt with that. The pool area was ok. Service at reception could be bad. There was normally only one lady, on at any one time, which served the apartments and the hotel, so could be a long waiting time. Could not recommend these apartments, under any circumstances.…
Uncomfortable is the word I would use to describe my room at this hotel paid for a 1 bedroom apartment for my husband and me, and could hardly fit with my belongings, defo only suitable for a night or two at most, not longer with a larger suitcase as I had for various nights (also would have liked having a mini fridge but no). Breakfast buffet was the same every morning, very boring by day 3 no variety or freshness.....
