Me and my friends were on a girls holiday and were worried after the reviews , once we arrived around 3am to be checked in everything went well although the grey haired man seemed to have no patience at all. After getting to our rooms it was just a standard room that had everything you needed. There is a white box on the balcony that has hot air coming out of it which makes the balcony too hot to sit at. The receptionist couldn’t care what problems you have they’re just rude expet for one. The security man who also worked in another bar was lovely to us although when I’m the lift with a group of boys when singing he pulled all the girls out and fined the boys which wasn’t fair. I do think they have it out for groups of boys who stay there other than girls, but all around the facilitates were what you needed and I wouldn’t worry going here as it’s perfect for a cheap holiday away. If you run out of towels or toilet roll just ask the front desk for more.

We stayed here for 5 nights (mum and daughter) the hotel is in the main strip. We arrived early (1pm) and told the room was not ready. Fair enough. Told to come back at 2:30pm and shown to a room where we could leave our luggage and get changed. Went for some lunch and got back at 3pm another 45 min wait. Then we got our room on the 7th floor which was nice, clean and spacious with a great view of the beach. Our first night was very loud, the noise from the bars on the street below were very loud until the early hours, people screaming, singing and the live band. The hotel don’t seem to care about noise from the guests either because there was so much noise and music blasting from the balconies, until at least 6am one night. Full of middle aged men and women who think they are 20 something and blind drunk, embarrassing. Our room was not cleaned the whole time, we had to go to reception for towels and was told our towels should be changed daily, I explained nobody has been and i had cleaned it myself and left the bag of rubbish at the door which they moved, hotel said they would Log a complaint but still did not see one cleaner. I would not stay here again simply because of the noise and the sort of guests it attracts. There is a shop in the hotel. It says no smoking on the website but even the guy in the shop had a cigarette in his mouth so don’t worry about that and the smell of weed everyday while sat on the balcony. The only plus’s I can say are the views and that the balconies are quiet private. But don’t come here expecting a relaxing time. Even the pool is over run by alcoholic idiots. There is air con in the rooms and a hairdryer. Kettle microwave and hob but no toaster.

Not 3 star! I blame Jet2 who we booked with but I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Our room was not cleaned once in 10 days, we literally had to beg for clean towels, sheets not changed or even floors swept or cleaned! Very poorly equipped for self catering too so had to eat out every day. Very dubious stain on sofa bed and stains on sheets! Hotel layout not explained properly by Jet2 either! You have to get a lift to the pools which are at the back of the hotel. Pools are shabby and need updating. Sun beds are fine and no issues with availability even on busy days. Lack of shade is an issue and lifeguard kept taking umbrellas down due to the breeze. Pros - location is perfect, beach is lovely and huge choice of good restaurants. Cons - large groups of rowdy young men and women mean not suitable for families or younger children. Very dirty and poorly maintained. Pool bar is ridiculously expensive! 5 euros for a slush! We had a great holiday, Santa Ponsa is great but we spent as little time as possible in the room!

All I can say about this apartment block is it’s cheap!! I’ll start with the good areas, the pool area is brilliant, pool cleaned every morning along with the pool area and plenty of clean sun beds when we visited. The pool and pool bar close promptly at 6pm every evening. Reception was also nice and clean and the reception staff where all friendly! Shower in our room was nice and powerful and hot and cold when wanted no issues with temperature Now here’s the bad bits…we had 3 rooms in total (3 couples) and all needed work doing to them from dirty walls, wooden trims falling off (skirting and door frames) poorly fitted patio doors, noisy air con!!! Cleanliness I’d rate as a 0 we were told at check in if we wanted our room Cleaning (due to Covid clearers won’t do regular cleans) we would need to tell reception first thing, or we could call down to exchange towels we stayed here for a week and we asked for room to be cleaned and 1 bin was emptied no clean towels or sheets! Had to ask again and was told I could have new towels and bedding which I’d need to do myself. Also all the stairs, lifts and corridors where all really dirty hadn’t been washed or even brushed whilst we weren’t there

Absolutely do not recommend this apartment at all. On arrival to our room we were introduced to blood splatters up the walls, a strong stench of urine in the toilet, broken air conditioning in bedroom, broken fridge with fish like smell (which isn’t ideal in a self catering apartment in 33+ degrees heat), no television remote and balcony was filthy. Our room was not cleaned once our whole stay, no clean towels were given and bins were not taken or emptied, which we were only informed that we had to take rubbish out and towels down ourselves. Also no toilet paper given, no extra bin bags given considering we were to take the rubbish out ourselves, no communication from reception at all. We were then infested by ants which reception brushed off, said they would have someone up to sort it, this did not happen leaving us forced to eat and sleep in a room crawling with ants and unable to use our kitchen sink. Upon discussion with other people staying they were dealing with the same issue. Sun loungers at the pool were filthy and the strong stench from drains was unbearable. Not worth the stay and definitely not worth potentially having your personal belongings infested by ants.

Our housekeeping service is offered for stays of over 7 nights, however, this can be requested during shorter stays for a small extra charge; additionally, clean towels are provided at reception if required. As also mentioned on our website and all other booking platforms, the guest is responsible for cleaning the kitchen and taking out the trash before departure unless the option of end-of-stay cleaning is taken. For any items, you may require there is a mini-market and supermarket near the residence. We regret that you felt the service provided by our reception team was not up to the usual high standard we set ourselves and that the issue you found with the ants was not dealt with promptly. Please be assured that we will look into this matter and thank you for bringing this to our attention. The staff at this hotel are the most rude and disrespectful people I have ever met. We were charged €50 other wise we were been kicked out, we were a group of 4 young girls, all because we came into the hotel behind a group of lads who where been a little bit loud. Considering the hotel is bang opposite a club and is Right in the middle of the party area what do they expect!!! We had only just stepped foot through the door! I was then chased up the stairs by a male member of staff shouting abuse at me. We had to take toilet roll out the pool side toilet’s because they wouldn’t give us any and we had to argue for clean towels. The blonde/brown haired Spanish rep is absolutely disgusting and should be sacked, she screamed at me and my friends for about 5 minutes and called us bullsh*tters infront of a huge bus of people because we didn’t know we had to get a card for the boat trip we had booked and was threatening for us not to be allowed on.(we had payed half already). The staff constantly look for things to shout at you for and tell you off, we felt constantly on edge. You wasn’t even allowed to play music by the pool or on your balcony without getting told off and they don’t play any them selves. Also DO NOT come if you are a family and want to sleep because the noise from the clubs opposite is horrific on a night!

Me and my friends recently stayed in this hotel and we are not usually fussy about where we’re staying understand that you get what you pay for however some things were ridiculous. We were given no clean towels or toilet roll until our very last day (day 6) even after asking reception for these and for an extra pillow. We were ignored and left to wait up to an hour to be told they will just send someone up which never happened.
We also witnessed staff slapping someone across the face after bringing a bottle of beer to the pool which was purchased out of THEIR shop. No aggression was coming from this young man, he left the pool area then came back after I assume drinking his beer elsewhere and he was slapped multiple times by security and also by the woman behind the bar. We spoke up and asked them please to stop as it was not nice to see and were gestured to leave aswell. To think it’s ok to slap around a young boy just because they can is a disgrace.
They don’t sell food but don’t allow you to bring anything in or eat snacks that again are purchased from their shop. They have tables up near the bar but still not allowed any food.
I wouldn’t recommend.

Please don't be put off my the bad reviews I was so nervous going here after reading some reviews. First of all alot of people complain about the man on reception with silver/grey hair and can I just say he was so friendly to us really helpful reccomended a lovely bar that served tapas with your drinks and was morw than happy to chat to us. Another man on reception was also really nice always said hello and happy to chat. I do think alit of complaints are due to people not being so friendly with them and then they are unhappy to be met with the same response. If your friendly and not rude you will not have a problem. The room was big, very clean, clean bedding, pillows and towels, comfortable beds, large balcony can not day anything bad about room really happy. Did not hear no noise with balcony shut could hear bars when out in balcony but your on the strip so it's expected and didn't cause any issues. The halls did have some bits of rubbish left but again this is down to the people staying and not the staff I seen cleaning staff very busy at work. If you don't want rubbish don't be scruffy and leave it for others to pick up. Pool was good, security smiled and said hello no issues at all and would definitely stay again. Perfect location and I love Santa Ponsa beautiful place with beautiful views. Thanks again to the staff

The hotel overall was lovely staff were so friendly and cheerful we met a staff member Gabriel he was so helpful and friendly. Apon arrival it was hard to find as the hotel is only known as deya not by its full title. Room was spotless apart from the microwave which had the last residents food on a plate inside of it. The room doesn't get cleaned and beds don't get dressed while you stay here when needing new towels and tissue paper you have to ask at reception. Pool times are 9am- 6pm would be great if it was open longer, but overall amazing stay would definitely stay here again!
