Spotlessly clean and very modern we were B&B The breakfast was ok with a good choice of continental and cooked the cooked food was generally Luke warm except for the omelette or fried eggs We did pay £14 each on two nights for an evening meal which was good value for money But again could have been hotter The room 1424 was a good size with a pool view with good storage but would have preferred some drawers instead of shelves but not a major fault Tea and coffee facilities topped up every day as were the toiletries in the bathroom Beds changed regularly as were the towels 3 outdoor pools but only the very top one got sun all day but it was fine in the lower one for us Our only problem was the steep hill to the hotel entrance if like me you have breathing difficulties or walking problems this made it a bit difficult for us and is the only reason we would not return All the staff were helpful even printed off our return plf form which was a great help The drink prices are good a large wine and pint of beer 7 euros The food at the pool bar was excellent and Emma helped me by using her phone when mine wouldn't read the menu You needed to wear a mask in all public areas and when going to the bar or using the self service in the restaurant it all felt very safe All in all a good holiday thank you to all the staff

Just finishing a 2 week stay here and would like to say a big thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. The room was very clean and light and despite overlooking a road, was very peaceful. I didn’t use the pools much, lovely as they were, and chose instead to walk two minutes to the sandy beach and clear, blue sea. Not sure what Santa Ponsa is like in high season but it was quiet and relaxing in late October. There are good buses to Palma and other nearby places. The buses take credit cards though you need to remember to click on entry and exit from bus. The bus stops are about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. When booking, we had actually pondered over breakfast and half board. We opted for half board as the price was so good. We had expected to occasionally have dinner outside of the hotel however the food was sooo good and the choices were immense that we ended up eating there each day. This was probably not good for our waistlines but diets can start when we get home!!! The people working in the restaurant were unfailingly cheerful and helpful. This also extends to the smiling ladies on reception. We had a great holiday and will certainly recommend to friends and family. We also hope to be back at some point in the future.

Would highly recommend. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff always happy to help. Great pool areas, well kept areas all around. Breakfast fresh, good selection never too busy as extended times to dine. Could not fault a thing during our stay.

We've been enjoying two week here and will check out tomorrow. It's been our first experience of staying half board for several years. Given the price we paid to upgrade from bed and breakfast only, we thought that the food offered outstanding choice, quantity and variety. The staff in the restaurant were all very welcoming and extremely hardworking too. It would be nice if water was made available at dinnertime for free though. Our room was kept clean and the cleaners were always on hand to make up the room when we wanted it to be done. (This was a help to me as I had to work for some of my time here). The room itself was basic and we were a little disappointed to discover that our 1st floor room faced the road. After arriving, I did enquire about changing rooms but was told we'd need to pay 16 Euros for that. This was a little disappointing, given that the hotel was never close to capacity. Note to the gentleman on reception: first impressions last! We liked the hotel swimming pools and I used the gym and spa a number of times. It was a pity that there was no drinking water made available to guests in either the gym or the spa. The opening hours were from 10am until 7pm. These times seemed to have been set with the interests of management, rather than guests, at heart. I'm sure there are many people, like me, who enjoy having a work out in the morning before breakfast. The evening cut off seemed a bit harsh too. That said, we found Santa Ponsa to be a friendly and peaceful little town and we loved the beach and its surroundings. I'd still recommend this hotel to others and hope that it can add a few simple touches to make it even better for future visitors.

We had a premium room with a side sea view in the Sunset annex. The designer style room and facilities were very good and spotlessly clean.. Unfortunately the good sized balcony was sunless, I doubt it gets sun at anytime off the year. The sea view was restricted by a tree on one side and a building on the other. Access to roof top splash pool and sunbeds is difficult for the less mobile on steps although a lift was available up to almost the roof level. I find it difficult to justify the additional cost of the room. The restaurant in the main building was again spotlessly clean and the buffet style food was varied and good Staff in the restaurant were especially pleasant and helpful. There was occasional evening entertainment . All in all, the hotel I would say was slightly better than average, its biggest asset is it staff from house keeping up the duty manager.
