First visit back after covid, only fault I could say was the entertainment was all in Spanish, understandably not a lot of British there but it would have been nice to have felt included.Hotel absoloutley spotless, staff very friendly across the board, reception staff printed all our forms off for travelling home without a bother which really helped our return journey. We would definitley stay again, huge choice of food at all meal times, you would have to be the fussiest of eaters to not find something to eat.Definitly deserves a higher ratong than it gets.

We flew out to benalmadena on 13 of March for a weeks holiday, unfortunately the next day flights were cancelled, The staff were superb can't thank them enough for the way we were looked after, Our holiday was cut short when our airline rang to say we were booked on a flight Wednesday, but we were so glad to get home. First time at the balmoral but will definitely return ,

On arrival, the hotel seemed great. Our taxi driver was very complementary about it. The reception staff were incredibly friendly. The room was large, though the view was at a concrete wall. However, later we found there was no hot water in our room. When we complained, they moved us and upgraded us to a much better room with 2 bedrooms and a balcony. Discouragingly they had known when they put us in the original room that there was no hot water but did not tell us, and still put us in the room. I found I had been charged twice as they used the original booking credit card as well as the card I gave on arrival. To be fair they realised before I did, but I had to query it to be told this. The hotel claims to be 4 stars, but it’s nowhere near that. Breakfast was excellent.

Dear G4301JEcharlesc, Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. Our hotel only provide double and triple rooms, there are no rooms with two bedrooms, sorry. Also, we are a two star hotel, not four, therefore it could be there is a mistake on your review and you stayed in a different hotel. Kind regards, Laura - LCM

This is a two star hotel that delivers exceptional value for money. Having visited this time last year we were very happy to choose this hotel again. We booked direct with the hotel. There are different prices depending on what cancellation fee you require. If you want to be able to cancel up to the day before with no charge it is a higher price than if you pay up front with no refund for cancellations. The price difference between bed and breakfast is quite small so we opted for that. A bonus is that you can choose lunch or evening meal depending on your plans for the day. No notice needed. You just turn up for lunch and they make a note so you can't turn up for evening meal as well. The food is simple, but quite a lot of choice and tasty. Usually at least three meat choices, a fish choice and a pasta dish. Restaurant staff were lovely. Drinks were a very reasonable price. The rooms are small and basic. Beds were comfortable. Last year we had pool view rooms but this year we didn't choose those. We were in the fifth floor so we still got a side view of the sea and amazing sunrise views. The bathroom on the non pool side did seem slightly smaller than the one we had last year. Rooms were spotless. Beds were made every day and the sheets changed mid week. All the cleaning staff were friendly saying hello every time you walked past one of them. Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. I would happily go back again to this hotel when returning to benalmadena. Thanks to all of you for a great holiday!
