Having stayed here on our road trip back in 2014, I took my family this time and stayed there for 3 nights in August. Is was wonderful. We had good weather which added to our fantastic experience . Just returned after a great week in this lovely hotel. Rooms were 1st class, roomy and spotless, bathroom (shower room) was perfect. Stood 1 night at the hotel with a large group of colleagues. The rooms were varied, some more modern, some traditional you could choose whichever you prefer. Stayed at the hotel during summer, while participating a concert-season at Freiburg. Was a very relaxing experience in a quiet setting off the the Glotter flowing right behind the hotel and squeezed to the Schwarzberg. We were 4 families for 8 nights each family, rooms, food and service were all perfect. Very good location to start trips in the Black Forest , close also to Freiburg. The employees are very friendly and helpful and we will be happy to visit here again
