Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for a week’s skiing. Having stayed before we knew what to expect. The rooms are very small, one radiator hidden behind the desk made drying wet ski gear difficult. No English tv channels. The shower cubicle is small but plenty of hot water. Good sized wardrobe/cupboard for clothes, but only three knobs to hang ski gear on. Food was better than previously, although the large cafeteria style dining room still very crowded, children running round with plates of food. Large choice of food, but could be hotter. I always used the microwave (for heating baby food) so mine was always hot. Helpful staff and very busy, always clearing/cleaning tables. Evening entertainment always in French, but bar area pleasant to sit in.
Overall it does what it should do, provide reasonable accommodation and food whilst allowing you to ski the whole Three Valley’s area without breaking the bank.

Dear Kolotala, Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. This is a budget hotel and good value for money. The bedrooms are small but functional and there is plenty of pleasant communal space in the reception and bar areas. The food is hearty and plentiful but not fancy, Staff very polite and helpful. If you are looking for a luxury experience, this hotel is not for you. However, for a basic, good value skiing holiday in a good location where a family or group can have some fun together, it is perfect.

This is a budget hotel so you have to take account of the cost of the accommodation when reviewing the hotel. Overall, I thought it was very good value for money. The rooms are small and a little basic but perfectly warm with a good hot shower. The bar is good value with a section with tables and a higher raised area with sofas and comfy chairs. The reception area also has a large area with comfortable seating - perfect for reading a book in peace on white out days or when back early from skiing. There are pool tables and table football there but I didn't find it too intrusive.
I enjoyed the food - both breakfast and dinner were excellent, plenty of choice and pretty good quality for a buffet. People have complained about the noise and over crowding. The trick is not to sit anywhere near the food trolleys. The room beyond the food area is much quieter with lots of tables. I never had a problem finding a nice table by the windows no matter what time I went. There are children!! But they all seemed perfectly well behaved when I was there. I went outside of school holidays so there were only pre school kids that mainly eat early.
The negatives! So many hotels now use coffee machines for breakfast. In my opinion the coffee dispensed is really horrible. And again like so many hotels they don't have enough anyway and there are permanent queues. While I was there some machines broke down making things even worse. I simply drank tea all week, although the hotel ran out of tea bags some mornings.
The boot room is fine, can get a little crowded. The walk to the slopes is more than 3 minutes, more like 6 or 7. It wasn't possible to ski back as the green run ended short of the hotel due to the conditions (very warm when I was there).
Staff were friendly and helpful and most spoke English well. The hotel had a majority French guests with a good minority of others, not just English but Dutch, German and Scandinavian.

Dear Guest, Thanks for taking the time to share your opinions on our holiday club. We are delighted to hear that you found your stay to be good value for money and that the hotel atmosphere, along with our diverse clientele, contributed positively to your experience. It is always encouraging to receive feedback on the warm ambiance and the comfortable common areas we provide for relaxation and leisure. While we regret to hear about your concerns regarding room size and amenities, we would like to point out that our rooms are designed to provide a cozy and efficient space for our guests, with recent mattress updates for a restful sleep. We understand that preferences can vary, and we appreciate your perspective. We are also saddened to learn of your dissatisfaction with the coffee machines and tea availability. It is indeed challenging when equipment does not perform to our standards, and we strive to ensure all amenities are functioning properly and stocked for our guests' enjoyment. The access to slopes is designed to be as convenient as possible within the natural terrain, and we regret if this did not meet your expectations. Your compliments on the quality of food served in our restaurant and the friendliness and proficiency of our staff are especially gratifying. We are proud to provide a diverse and delicious dining experience for our guests and to have a team that upholds our high service standards. We hope to welcome you in the future. Best wishes, Julie, Service Relation Clients Belambra

Property's Favorite Review
I had a very happy time staying here. Two terrible reviews were posted the week before I flew out, so I was a bit scared! But I had a brilliant time and would love to return.
It's a great hotel, with a lovely atmosphere. Lots of comfy chairs and space for relaxing in the reception area, also plenty more space down in the bar and out on the sundeck. A variety of entertainment in the evenings - shows, singers, a casino night, karaoke.
Ski boot room worked well - being given a locker with a combination code was straight-forward. The hotel has its own equipment hire place down in the boot room and the staff are so friendly, especially Sebastian. Unfortunately I had already pre-hired my equipment because I booked with Crystal and had to go into town to get it, I really wish I had not pre-hired and been able to get it at the hotel as that would have been much more convenient, and the staff were so friendly I was disappointed not to give them my business. People have written in reviews that you can't heat your boots, but the ski hire place has boot warmers behind the counter and offered this service to me for free, so anyone worrying about that, just ask Sebastian and co and they will warm your boots overnight.
Very happy with the food. Was quite worried after reading reviews, but I easily found a table every night, and there were always enough plates and cutlery, all of which were clean. Food was always a good temperature and the microwave although I didn't need to use it was also clean (checked several times because of what a previous reviewer wrote about it!) I really liked the buffet set up and there was plenty to choose from, a good variety of starters, mains and desserts and lots of lovely cheese to feast on at the end. Plus unlimited access to water and wine.
Staff were really friendly. Helpful on reception when needed. Nice to be greeted on arrival to the dining room each evening and then bid goodnight at the end. Chefs were friendly and the waiters and waitresses cleared the tables efficiently and unobtrusively.
Location was great. Just a short walk out of the boot room and up to the slopes. The ski pass shop is there, plus up-to-date information boards. The Menuires chairlift is the closest to the hotel and from there it's easy to go off in whatever direction you wish. Piste maps available at reception.
Short walk into town to visit shops and supermarket. Les Menuires is on different levels, the hotel is at La Croisette which seems to be a pretty main area. You can get a lift down to an area called Preyerand and another lift up to Brelin. You don't need to do this because everything you need is already at the La Croisette level. But the lifts are not far from the hotel and it's a fun, novel thing to do if you want to explore.
You can fill your water bottles up for free at a water cooler on the reception floor.
Someone wrote about the rooms being cramped - I was lucky to be a solo person in a triple room so I was fine. I did think about what it would be like if the room was fully occupied and my handy hint would be to bring more sockets - I had just one accessible double socket in my room (there was another but it was hard to get to as the bed was covering it). If there were three of you in the room with lots of things to plug in, then bringing one of those extension leads with 5 or 6 sockets and plugging it into an adaptor would probably save you a lot of stress and arguments.
It was a very happy holiday. I loved my time in this hotel and would very much like to return next season.

We are frequent guest at this hotel. Its close to the ski slopes and offers simple, functional rooms of still reasonable size. Staff is friendly, sometimes a little bit overstrained.
After having reduced its hotel services slightly over the years the hotel was still ok. But now they made a great step towards being a youth hostel rather a hotel.
There is no more room service during a one week stay. This means: no cleaning, no fresh towels, no additional toilett paper, noone to fix the bedclothes. Asking the management we received the perverted answer of "having a new concept" in the hotel and that one "like to save the planet". To be honest, its hard to see how fixing bedclothes, or cleaning a room will destroy our planet! If this all is a cost cutting measure it shall be named like this. Our stay wasn't cheaper than before but with less return service - so its nothing else than a real, but hidden price increase.
By the way: There is an info in the bathroom that you can go down to the reception desk and change your towels there if you need to do so ...
The dinner buffet in the evening is still good, but breakfast offerings are reduced compared to previous years. Breakfast time starts pretty late at 7:30 am, but frequently dozens of guest crowd in front if the locked doors until these are opened 10-15 minutes too late.
Regrettably this hotel is on its way to a youth hostel. What a pitty!
One star in the assessment is now more than enough.

My son and I stayed for a week from late January 2023 on a ski trip booked via a package deal. The hotel is positioned ok and is ski in/ski out when there's sufficient snow cover.
However, the quality of the rooms is very poor and it looks as though they haven't been refurbished for at least 20 or even 30 years. We stayed in a 'triple' room which meant that there were 3 single beds in the room. 2 of the beds were no longer than 6' (and my son is 6'2" so spent most nights with his feet hanging out of the bed) and the 3rd bed was no longer than 5'. The re was barely 12" of floor space at the side of the 2 main beds, and then an area around 2' x 8' at the end of the beds. All in all, the room was very cramped, even for 2 people never mind 3.
The bathroom had an old tatty shower cubicle which was barely 2' x 2' square and was dirty. Toiletries were limited to 2 small bars of soap only.
The hotel offers Wifi at a cost of 20 Euros for the week!!! I have NEVER stayed in a hotel which wanted to charge for Wifi - but this greedy hotel wanted to charge.
The food quality at dinner was average at best, breakfasts were slightly better, but meals are buffet style with as many as 150 people scurrying around at the same time to find what they want.
We won't be staying here again.

Stayed here for a 5 day ski break.
The hotel was a great location for skiing, ski to door and only a 30 metre walk to first lift to start your ski day.
The rooms were small, however, had lots of storage, beds were very comfortable, the room was warm and the shower was hot and powerful, these are much more important when on a ski holiday.
The buffet breakfast and evening meal were great, the selections were extensive and never felt like you had to queue as well spaced out.
The bar area was mainly aimed at families with entertainment for children, there was a large lounge area near reception which was much quieter and very comfortable.

This hotel was one of the most basic that I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The rooms are incredibly small, facilities are limited (no hairdryer, no toiletries). The windows have bars against them, the shower is so small you can barely turn around in it, towels as an issue as I understand they are trying to save the environment. Thoroughly disappointed is all I can say about the rooms. The food was ok. It is well placed for skiing but if you like your creature comforts this place is not the place to stay.

I have stayed at this hotel groups hotels in La Plagne and Les Arcs previously and found them OK.
This hotel is similar but the thing that makes it better is the standard, choice and amount of food available at all meals.
For what we paid the food was lovely, hot and plentiful. One annoying thing is the lack of coffee at breakfast. The machines were either busy or inoperable. The staff did bring out an urn with coffee but it soon emptied.
The rooms are really small but warm and there is plenty hot water, There were minimal toiletries but more than adequate for a skier.
The room was never cleaned during the week we were there or the beds made. The bin was emptied and the towels changed in the middle of the week. Fine for us to be honest.
The boot room is OK but can be busy in the morning. There is no heating in it to dry ski boots but you get what you pay for,
There was no ski in ski out due to lack of snow but the walk to the lifts is 5 minutes
Staff are really nice and the bar is OK apart from children running about.
I would certainly go back

Dear Guest, Thanks for taking the time to share your opinions on our holiday club. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated our hotel's location and the standard and quantity of food we offer. At Belambra Clubs, we take pride in providing our guests with a satisfying dining experience, and your praise for our culinary offerings is much appreciated. We regret to hear about your inconvenience with the coffee machines at breakfast and understand that this can affect the start of your day. We always strive to ensure a smooth service, and we're sorry for any delay you experienced. Additionally, we acknowledge your comments regarding room size and want to assure you that we aim to provide a cozy and comfortable environment for our guests to rest after a day on the slopes. Our goal is always to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service, and we apologize if we fell short in this regard. We appreciate your understanding that housekeeping services are tailored to provide a balance of privacy and comfort, with bins emptied and towels changed midweek. It's also unfortunate that the boot room did not meet your expectations; we aim to provide all necessary amenities for our guests' convenience. We're sorry to hear of your observations regarding the children in the bar area and will consider this feedback carefully. Lastly, we are happy that you found our staff to be pleasant and that you would consider returning to our establishment in the future. We hope to welcome you in the future. Best wishes, Julie, Service Relation Clients Belambra

Little worn at the edges but warm and comfortable. First time we have stayed in a French ski resort hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet style breakfast and dinners offered plenty of choice. The hot choices could do with being hotter. However, all very tasty and a great set of choices and you can eat as much or as little as you want. No daily maid service so you may need to empty bins and ask reception for more toilet rolls etc.
