Basic but clean apartment ideal for family. Not large and storage space limited, but that's normal for a ski apartment. Lovely and warm, comfy mattresses and reasonably well equipped kitchen. Note: sheets provided but no towels, cleaning products or condiments. No oven and no usable grill in the combo microwave. Location great with an easy ski into or out from the ski lockers. 3 restaurants and a Spar shop within a very short walk. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is fantastic, bottom of Plagne Soleil, right on the edge of the slope, in front of the ski school, with a few shops and restaurants around. Compact apartment as expected but clean, warm and plenty of hot water. WiFi was included. Ben's bus dropped us right outside the door. There was a microwave, 4 ring hob, (pots & pans etc) coffee machine and kettle (no oven) Not so good points... Check in took ages and it really didn't need to. Check the inventory and condition form carefully Ski locker room was bit of a mess and didn't dry out overnight Not much storage space in apartment (where do you put those suitcases?) Had to clean apartment when leaving but no cleaning stuff supplied (bleach, washing up liquid, sponge, tea towel etc) only mop, bucket, broom and dustpan & brush. Take some toilet roll!

Having stayed on other Accomodation both in Soleil and others, I can say that this is nothing different from any other ski-in ski-out residences. The worst part of our holiday was reading the reviews below which are shocking and don’t represent the place at all. We had a great week. The boss lady on reception is just French! If you smile and say thank you, she will talk in English and is actually a lovely person. The rooms are not new but they function. No privacy in the rooms for 6. But again, for the price you pay it’s what you get. Do pay the deposit in cash and make sure they inspect your rooms on departure. The only minor issue is you cannot wear boots inside and you need to wear shoes to the locker room each day. The best thing - the WiFi was so good (and free) that we could even watch streamed football games, whereas in the Mont Soleil next door it was shocking. We will happily book again.

We recently stayed at this hotel through Sunweb. We was met by a moody member of Management who blamed us for not contacting due to our flight being delayed. They left the door open to our room open over night! And took money for cleaning even though we cleaned to a high standard and have picture proof!! When we came to check out on Wednesday ahead of an early departure Thursday morning they were closed, would have been nice to been told this on check in as we stopped skiing early that day to sort. No signs were in English we had to use Google translate. Wouldn't stay here again if you paid me.

This is not a hotel, it is a hostel. We booked 3 rooms here for our annual ski trip but when we arrived on the Saturday the reception was actually closed between 1.00- 3.30pm (on changeover day!!!) and so we had to wait 2.5 hours to check in, unbelievable! After storing luggage in the tour reps minibus (we had to call for assistance) and using this time to collect ski equipment/have lunch we then managed to check-in but had to collect linen, make our own beds, pay for towels, pay local taxes and also leave a sizeable 300 euro deposit per each room (credit card). The staff were not very welcoming and basically grumpy - just like the facilities. To rub salt in the wounds, when we checked out we had to return linen (strip the beds) and clean/mop up, but despite them checking the room the night before and confirming all ok they subsequently withheld 60 euro cleaning fee per room - they obviously expect each room to be cleaned to a standard ready for the next guests - how lazy! Facilities are very minimal here and we will not be returning, I would advise any potential guests to avoid this place.

Dear Daniel, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. We would like to let you know that we are a tourist residence and not a hotel, so the services are different. Please note that as a residence, the beds are to be made by holidaymakers. We assure you that the deposit and the tourist taxes are also indicated on our communication supports. Please understand that end-of-stay cleaning is indeed to be done by the guests. However, we have taken note of all your remarks. Despite the bitter experience, we hope to welcome you back. The worst place I have ever stayed. We arrived and were not greeted with a hello or how are you, it seemed more off an inconvinience for them that we had arrived. The older women behind the desk had the worst attitude and she was the rudest person I have ever spoken to. Straight away we had to pay local tax costs. Then we were handed bed sheet. When we asked is there any towels she said we had to pay 8 euros for them and they were the thinnest towels I have ever used and weren’t even aloud to keep them afterwards. When we got to our rooms is was disgusting and so cramped. There was supposed to be 5 in a room and there wasn’t even enough space for 2 people with 1 poxy little wardrobe. Generally a complete and utter shambles off a place and would never recommend it to anyone not even my worst enemy. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The one good thing about the Cervin is the location, everything else is abysmal. We don't generally have a big budget, and so stay in cheaper places, but this was a real shock. The rep from Iglu said it's the worst "hotel" he's seen. We arrived at the grubby front desk to be completely ignored by the French receptionist who eventually came over, we were clearly an inconvenience. With barely a word we were abruptly charged the local tax and deposit, handed some linen/towels and sent on our way with a form to fill in to check the room for damage/utensils etc. No smile, no welcome, no orientation. This sums up our experience from then on. The small apartments are dirty and miserable, and of course no double bed. It was genuinely the most depressing place I've stayed, my partner nearly cried so I quickly tried to make the best of it - but really it was worse than a hostel. The customer service we experienced whenever going to the front desk was the same, with the owner (a large French woman) being especially rude. Talk past us to people behind us in the queue who she knew, and we were treated as an inconvenience. There was nobody to contact at night with regards to noise from other rooms, and at about 1am I had to go to another room (occupied by local staff I think) who were having a party. They were drunkenly apologetic and did quiet down. If you have a family, DO NOT stay here. If you are a couple looking for a relaxing break, DO NOT stay here. If you are there purely to ski and drink then this is possibly for you. There is a reason this is one of the cheapest places in the Alps to stay. Spend an extra £100 each and go somewhere nicer. It's a disgrace.

It offers all the necessities a group of people might need but nothing more for a fair price. It offers ski-in/ski-out which is perfect and is located in the sunny part of La Plagne Village. There is a small shop nearby and all other services (ski rental etc.). I has a parking space which could be a bit bigger.

All the reviews I've read summarize this perfectly and is exactly what we got. Very good location as it's ski in/ski out, the place was clean but too small for 4 adults (and is supposed to sleep up to 5!). 1 single wardrobe with 4 hangers and 1 shelf for 4 of you. An attempt has been made to modernize the place which made it more welcome but the 1970s furniture is getting old and a bit tatty. No oven, nothing left in the place to start you up - no loo paper, no washing up liquid, NOTHING! Everything is an expensive extra. No internet at all, TV is an extra Euro 40, Euro 60 if you want the place cleaned at the end of your stay. Euro 7.50 per set of 2 sheets (they were clean and ironed though some had suspicious looking black spots!) There isn't much around a few expensive restaurants which were good though and a SPAR shop - that's it!. Staff was generally polite (the young girls were) when there was someone available! Christine on the other hand who I assume was a manager of some kind was super rude, unhelpful and totally unflexible and barked at you rather than spoke! My advice, read the reviews before you book and set your expectations a few notches lower to avoid disappointment!
