Having stayed at the Esprit hotel across the road for 2 years, when our children were too old, we looked for something as good, and found even better and much more luxurious. We have stayed at the Carlina for 2 years now and would not even consider going anywhere else. We have stayed in both rooms and the self catering...

Good, family-run hotel. Dinner a particular highlight with first-class service and fine dining. Rooms a little small but comfortable and entirely adequate for a week's skiing. Hotel is ski-in, ski-out. Not very convenient for shops, bars & restaurants in the evening, but if you're skiing the hotel has all you want in the evening anyway. Only criticism is that the...

Visited Belle Plagne on my first ski holiday. Lovely town, much nicer than La Plagne nearby. Hotel Carlina is perfectly located on the blue run down to all the lifts and telecabins. The ski in/ski out facilities are so convenient and the terrace restaurant is great for apres ski. The rooms are lovely but small. Nice en suite though which...

Just returned from a weeks skiing at the brand new chalet Hugo part of the Carlina hotel with crystal ski . Ski in ski out home from home ! Great large room size , comfy bed , fantastic hot and strong shower to sooth aching ski legs . The chalet hosts Rachel and Will could not have done more for...

The Carlina is a strange hotel, in fact it's something of a paradox. Although it's a 4 star hotel, nothing about it is 4 star. The food is amazing, genuinely 5 star and gourmet - but funnily enough not really what you want when you choose a 4 star hotel - and totally wasted on three kids under 10. After...

We had not actually booked into this Ski lodge, we arrived at Belle Plagne to check into a different lodge only to find they had cancelled our booking weeks previously and had not told us - at 7pm in the evening we were without accommodation for 4 nights - we called the Carlina and they were only to happy to...

As my daughter is working in Le Plagne I've visited twice this year and been impressed on both occasions. Lovely position looking out over the mountains with good ski-in/ski-out facilities. At lunchtime the terrace is buzzing with diners as it is the perfect place for skiers to stop for lunch and in the evening it is quieter as it is...

I've stayed here a couple of times and this really is a great hotel for skiing holidays. The positives are: - great ski-in ski-out. Main piste is a maximum of ten paces from the locker room. - bar and restaurant are both very good. - spa facilities are excellent. - views over the lower resorts are spectacular. - Belle Plagne...

The Hotel is in the best location to explore the Paradiski area, an easy ski off the Hotel ramp to the Arpette chair for the Vanoise express to Les Arcs on one side, and the Blanchets, Colosses chairs and the Roche de Mio Gondola for the La Plagne area on the other side. The best ski-in ski-out accommodation I've ever...

I don't normally write reviews but this hotel and its staff made it a no brainer. I stayed her a couple of weeks ago and had heard some good things about the food but i had no idea what was in store. After being shown to my room by one of the friendly reception staff who made us feel welcome...
