Stayed here with my husband as a stop over on our way to Tignes. We travelled overnight by Eurostar ski train and arrived at 6.45 am on Saturday and were able to check into our room straight away and have breakfast on the day of our arrival (we paid extra for the previous night to allow us to do this).... Stayed here with some friends for a four day ski trip at Les Arcs. A short walk to the furnicular, which was easy enough even in ski boots, this small hotel is a gem. It has a pleasantly rustic feel about it but the real quality is in the service and value for money. Dinner bed and breakfast for 70... More

My family have eaten here four or five times and it's amazing! An old school hotel with all the French charm and trimmings without being too posh. The lunch menu is full of local delicacies cooked to perfection. The waitering staff are especially attentive and the food surpasses expectation. For those who can't speak French there is an English menu... More

Disconcertingly dowdy in the exterior and 'tired' decor disguise one of the top restaurants in the valley for food quality and service at an extraordinary price. Choice of menus and never had a bad experience in two years of visits. Be warned, every course good, excellent cheese course but YOU WILL want space for the huge choice of tempting desserts.... We've stayed at the Hostellerie du Petit Saint Bernard a couple of times over the New Year holiday when we've gone ski-ing. It's walking distance from the railway station so handy for catching the train from/to Paris and also a 10-minute walk from the funicular that takes you directly up to Les Arcs 1600 and from there to the whole... Found this hotel restaurant as recommended by manager of apartments nearby. Service is outstanding and food excellent.Would recommend as traditional French cuisine and accomodation. We has a vegetarian as part of our party and maitre'd went out of his way, together with the chef, to accommodate needs.

We have stayed here twice in the last decade (very convenient for the station & the funicular) but this time just dropped in on the restaurant. The place has not change a bit in that time - even the staff led by the helpful & articulate Gilles look exactly the same! The set menus are great value and enable you... More

The restaurant in the Hostellerie du Petit Saint Bernard, behind the rather tired hotel facade, is very, very good. It has a wonderful, old style interior in a warm and comfortable way and you slip into a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere as soon as you are seated at your table. First class, knowledgeable, professional waiters and waitresses move calmly round... More

We stayed at Hostellerie Du Petit Saint Bernard on Boxing day 2014. we just drove from London and didn't arrive until 3am. After letting them know by phone in our terrible French that we'd be very late, everything was set up nicely for us to rest for the night. One must have a positive state of mind staying at a... We stayed here for a week in January 2015. It is a comfortable, if a little tired, traditional French hotel. The restaurant is a jewel with first class waiters in Vincent and Giles who made us feel very welcome with nothing too much trouble. Evening meals were a treat. Excellent quality and variety. Breakfasts were typically Continental but would be... More
