We have just returned from our hoilday;we stayed in one bedroom apartment as previously mentioned a bit on the small size, very little storage space, but all in all we managed, the biggest problem was we were on the 12 floor and bedroom had a window, over looked open stair way,bad design,so on more than one night we were woken between 12-3 by the noise of thoughtless people having loud conversations, not English, from people using stairs not sure if I would return to these apartments .

I picked Antares deliberately as I knew it was the highest apt block. You get the best views by far. But it's still a perfect ski in and ski out location and you can be in the centre of town in just a few minutes thanks to the public lifts. The apt is certainly on the smaller side, but it was clean, warm and bed was really comfy. Kitchen had everything you could need from a quick breakfast to a full on evening meal. Staff were all really friendly too. Ski lockers are a bit poor. There are no hooks, poles or shelves in them so boots either sit on top of each other on the floor and get wet, or balance on top of skis. Or you do what most people do and take them up to your room. Of course signs say you shouldn't, but no one bothered so it wasn't an issue. Free internet was poor, a lot of the time you couldn't even join the network so if it's essential to you, I'd allow for paying for one of the upgraded wifi packages.

We used the Antares apartments as part of a package ski trip with Crystal. As a couple, the space was adequate and the apartment layout perfectly functional. However, the bedroom has no space to dress/undress. That has to be done in the corridor or the living area. Other than this, the apartment is well stocked and furbished with just about enough storage space. The bed is very comfortable and great after a hard day's skiing. The one major concern is the state of the concrete floor of the balcony. This appears to be decaying at the front where the barriers are erected and have to be a worry. As a result, we didn't use the balcony at all. As the apartment block is right at the top of Avoriaz there are a number of benefits: relatively quiet from the noise of the main street bars, great views especially at night as the sun sets, easy access to the rest of the resort but mostly, especially if you are avid skiers a perfect ski in/ski out location. I would certainly recommend the Antares, but don't expect to be bowled over with space.

Service fine, and great views across the valley. Clearly, there is no professional cleaning company used by the apartments, which are worn, from carpets inside, to the concrete floor on the balcony outside.

The Pierre & Vacance Apartments Antares studio we rented was basic accommodation, but good value, clean and functional. Nice towels, bedding, excellent heating and plumbing and very helpful staff were strong points. Some improvements on the strength and persistency of WiFi, a cutting board and the arrangements on provision of transfers to and from the Prodains Express would be desirable. Overall we were very happy with the Antares for our 4 night stay.
