Saint Omer is usually a stopping off point for people when they are going somewhere else, but they're missing a treat here as its a great French town, with a nice park, market and a square full of bars and restaurants. The Hotel St Louis suited our party of four adults perfect. It was quiet, the rooms were gorgeous, excellent... More

On arrival there was nobody at reception . I did cancel one of our rooms two weeks prior to find they hadn't cancelled , which we had to pay for 😡.. That didn't sit very well... The rooms were filthy , I havnt a clue what the cleaners do. They did change the beds every day .. During one of... More

Last-night stop before the ferry - good price, comfortable and nicely situated, with good secure parking. Nice breakfast, but restaurant not open so we walked a short distance into town. Friendly management, everything clean and comfortable.

When we arrived we asked if we were football hooligans as we were English, I was taken aback and replied of course not, the Lady who checked us in at reception was quite rude and very unhelpful. I do not recommend you stay here ever.

We were greeted by the owner who told us that if we were trouble, the police would be called and we will be locked up. That was quite upsetting! We were not coming to watch the football (pretty obvious as we had our baby and parents with us). We reserved the room thinking that we had the garden rooms (we... More

We stayed 17th to 19th June 2016 with our son and daughter in-law and grandson Joe who is 7 months old. We had stayed previously so were aware that the Madame was unfriendly, but seemed a good choice as it has groundfloor rooms with large opening doors out onto the garden and small carpark. I requested a cot for a... More

Stayed here during the European championships, but we did not attend. Due to mild disturbances the night before, from revellers we were told on arriving at breakfast "I'm putting money on your room" we were so embarrassed. I called the owner out to reception and told him in no uncertain terms that we were in bed by 10.30. I received... More

Nice clean rooms, very quite. Staff polite, breakfast good with a wide choice. A little hard to find the hotel if you don't know Saint Omar well. Although the stay was short it was very pleasant, the owners are very nice and accommodating!

We booked this hotel as a 3 night stay whilst our daughter had work experience in a local restaurant in Saint Omer. The reviews talked of friendly family service and a nice hotel for a short stay. Unfortunately, this is not quite what we found. The hotel was very tired and in much need of some TLC, No tea or... More

The location of this hotel means it receives plenty of stop over business. This hotel would have been something special in its day - the Art Deco bar and features throughout the hotel point to this. But now it is more faded grander. This place is fine for a stop over but think again if you want an early start... More
